im thinking about celestia and the abyss being literal opposites (chaos and order) and im thinking about childe and lumine being sort of embodiments of that, just not in the way we think. after the latest natlan quest its clear to us what the fatui intends and what they want- i think the tsaritsa more than anything loves humanity, which is why she directly opposes celestia who are known for bringing down different civilizations. childe, as Her weapon and Her blade is an extenction of that: he's a blade forged by the abyss, bathed in Her holyness, meant to strike down those who sin. lumine (talking solely about traveler lumine) is the literal sister of the prince of the abyss, she has clear ties to it and at this point in the story still is hesitant about fully opposing him (i love angst). her entire story revolves around chaose and disrupting celestia's (and the fatui's) order. isnt that fun
i think what childe longs for the most is control- control of himself, his life, his powers, his story, his fate. i think what lumine wants the most is freedom, which is just another phacet of chaos
anyways. you see it. the themes are theming
#i think! childe's character is more interesting if you understand his devotion to the tsaritsa as a way to cope with his abyssal corruption#he wants to be good. he needs to be good. he'll do anything She says because She is holy#and the thing with lumine is just. well obviously she opposes the abyss and the abyss order#but i think what scares her the most is how much she understands her brothers motivation#because in his place she wouldve also done the same (also that is what literally happens in the game if you choose aether as the traveler )#the traveler's achilles heel is their devotion towards the people around the#them *#so she cant even entirely disagree with him because she gets him. because theyre the same in blood and flesh- two parts of a whole star#its why dainsleifs question (do you believe your sibling to have betrayed you?) goes unanswered#to make long matters short- lumine sees more of herself whithin the abyss than whithin celestia#and that scares her#childe on the other hand strives to shine in his goddesses light- anti-celestia or not she's still a goddess meant as an envoy +#for the heavenly principles (how can she oppose that which completes her?)#idk if its a mistranslation but childe has voicelines about stepping on the god's throans#does he hate celestia because they have what he will never have?#the answer is yes- a thought that probably also terrifies him and he probably hates himself for it#anyways#chilumi#need i say more

as i said im gonna do another post about exploration and worldbuing of the new natlan area. and lets start with how fucking barren this area is. i don't puzzles, but like content. compare to any other "divided" area - chasm, remuria, enka. all of them have side quests in addition to main quests, all of them have secondary narratives, npcs at the very least. in this natlan area all we have is 1 (ONE) eugenicist dragon possessing different roombas, its all about the main quest which is garbage (see my post about plot)
this directly affects worldbuilding. this area is supposed to be sacred city of dragon civilization at its peak and what we get from it? nothing! well, we get transcripts of work meeting of like 10 dragon bureaucrats. and most of their interactions is telling each to shut up about problems bc if they were stronger, they would not have these problems. and like you know what, im not even gonna complain about quality of that, pyro dragons were a group chat of toxic dark souls fans telling each other to git gud, SURE. the problem is not even WHAt they are talking about, but that this one group chat is the ONLY content we have. where all other dragons?? did this city only had like 10 bureaucrats calling themselves Lords and no one else??
compare and contrast to enkanomiya. It had a main plot line, but in addition, it had a side plot about sun children, the kid rulers, manipulated by adults, their personalities, their tragedies. i think this could be equated content-wise to dragon chat logs, there about as many sun children about whom we also learn only from the walls of text from random exploration description. BUT. first, sun children get an actual side quest. second, there are a lot more people we meet and read about in enka. There are many side quests that have nothing to do with main story, there are politics with inazuma, hidden celestia lore, khaenriah envoys trying to steal that lore, rebellions, inventors, priests, drug dealers, etc. Enkanomiya feels like real place because it has many characters and complex interactions between all these characters and factions, whether if we meet them as shades or just read about them. meanwhile, the dragon civilization had like. 10 dragons in zoom meetings and one pyro sovereign and thats it. the worldbuilding is literally non existent.
oh, another moment that got me was. sigh. from the start of natlan i was saying that saurians are obviously much less intelligent that normal vishaps. and ppl were writing 3 pages of text arguing with me. now we have canon confirmation that they ARE muchy less intelligent. but their explanation for that is one sentence ffrom dragon eugenicist that celestia dropped nails on natlan, which made the land more dangerous, so dragons de-evolved to survive. like???? since when losing intelligence makes it easier to survive in dangerous places????? this is such a blatantly lazy excuse and it frankly discourages me from even thinking about larger genshin lore bc if they can just wave off entire nation of dragons losing intelligence in one stupid sentence, then whats the point to take anything seriously.

From this post: Myriad Celestia Trailer — Fables About the Stars Part 2 | Honkai: Star Rail
There's also this post, Closer look at Lord Ravagers from CN official ( TL in the description ), which has additional info.
I don't follow any official accounts, so I don't know if there's any non-CN version available. Would be weird to do this lore drop in only CN.
I won't paste the whole thing since it's long, but the names and associated Paths (note the correction in the comments):
Lord Ravager: Lumifade Is it an envoy that was summoned by Nanook to fight agaisnt "Voracity" or "Permanence" ? For now, there is no answer to that question. Lord Ravager: Forgelord Analysts suspect that Forgelord is a creation from the aftermath of ancient war industries, its core functions revolving around heat, forging, and reshaping—possibly even connected to the idea of “Preservation.” Lord Ravager: Celenova Celenova is seen as a destroyer of “Harmony.” [...] Among the Ravagers, only Celenova possess secrets closely tied to the Stellaron. Some say she is their manipulator—perhaps even the Planter of the Stellaron itself. Lord Ravager: Zephyro Many firmly believe that Zephyro's blade points toward “Nihility.” A dying survivor once described his experience as being "the final endpoint of all matter’s collapse," and claimed that the Ravager’s descent into the IX's body left only a blinding white aftermath—a burst so intense it pierced into the deepest, most unfathomable black. Lord Ravager: Asat Pramad He is believed to be the Destruction linked with “Elation,” and Asat Pramad seems to quietly embrace this title. Before leaving, he leaves behind a massive smile etched into the dying surface of every planet—like he’s mocking the very existence of laughter. Lord Ravager: Phantylia An ancient and formless member of the "Heliobi," . She delights in seducing civilizations into the abyss of self-destruction. Based on her actions targeting the Xianzhou Alliance and their allies, it's speculated that her goal may be “The Hunt" Lord Ravager: Iron Tomb This Ravager tends to appear in worlds with highly advanced technology. Some philosophers and tech scholars believe Iron Tomb represents a counterforce to "Erudition” transforming all logical conclusions and data into cold annihilation. Rather than chaos or madness, its “Destruction” is more like a sterile silence—a quiet plague that corrupts and resets everything built upon machine logic, computation, and intelligence.

HeroFest Day 6
Prompt: Your Hero's Off Work Hobby
The Magius Alcoholism.
A dead man had once accused Magius of being a narcissist, many dead men in fact. Sitting in front of the ruined altar in the Termina Temple they pondered if the accusation had some weight to it. So was stewing in her mire that her short time adoptive mother Noelle had left her, Tara was grappling with Victoria's maybe betrayal, and all Magius could be bothered to think about was how inconvenient it would be to have to muddle through yet more politics that stood in the way of the Old World Order's requests.
They twirled the empty wine glass between their fingers and admired their restraint, trying not to think about how Xing would've mocked them for the attempt. The bottle of wine sitting drained on the floor next to their crossed legs was almost as barbed as the insults that sat semi-conjured in their head. The buzz in Magius' brain hadn't alleviated how low they were feeling half as well as they imagined it would, maybe because now all it did was remind them of Abel's efforts to keep them sober in the Cryostorm.
"Magius?" Tara stepped into the room behind them. "You’ve got to come up. Celestia and the others are going to discuss strategy-" she noticed the empty bottle and stopped, huffing. "Nevermind! Are you having fun being pathetic?"
Magius was having fun, actually. They didn’t have time to do this half as much as they deserved. It was refreshing to feel so self serving when the work laid out by the Old World Order was hanging over them. Tool though they may be those bastards in the core didn’t deserve to use them. Really everyone should be more appreciative that Magius was holding themself back as much as they were. This was only the second time this week.
Instead of giving up like she did two days ago, Tara stomped her way over to stand in front of them and snapped her fingers in their face. “Get up! You can’t just do this every time you feel bad.” She pouted, “it freaks me out!”
Magius laughed.
“Trust me, if I did this every time I felt bad I would be catatonic.” Ignoring Tara’s blanching face they sprung out of their seated position, enjoying the swirling feeling in the skull as they moved too fast. “You worry too much you know? I have everything handled.” And they did, they really did. Neso was dead, Kathool was managed. When the Rumbling of Cold Thunder or Flame of the Beyond reared their ugly heads Magius would be faster, quicker, and take care of it before anyone could get hurt.
Since peaceful negotiations had once again been proven to fail everyone.
“How can you say that? You saw what Vic’s been hiding from us, from me!” Tara pulled hard on Magius’ arm. Normally they might’ve entertained the gesture for her, but the thought fled before they could remember their resolve to be softer and their arm stayed unmoving as she tugged on it. “Everything is so much worse then before and you think you can just sit here and mope?”
‘I don’t care about whatever Swordhaven is doing’ is the first thought that pops into their skull, they shrug their shoulders and project some responsible sounding tone into their voice as they pretend they do. “The root of the problems we’re facing are the threats we’re taking care of. Once I take them down everything else will fall into place.” That they found Victoria’s seeming betrayal expected was uncomfortable, they didn’t think about it. “Warlic and Celestia are already on the hunt, I don’t see the point in stressing while I wait for the next target.”
“What about Abel?”
Magius twitched “What about Abel?”
Tara pounced on their give, “you know, the Ice Envoy? The one you couldn’t stop talking about? Abel? Who vanished? Don’t you think thats a little-” “Abel can take care of himself.” Magius interrupted her before she could push any further, “it’s probably better that I leave him alone.” He was fine, they were sure. Abel had been on the mend when they saw him, he had been doing fine without them and as Sea Base and the Time Stream had handly proven Magius’ presence would just make it worse. They grimaced and didn’t think about it.
They really needed another bottle.
#aqw#aqworlds#oc: magius#hero fest#Looks into the camera: Magius sets themself up for the WORST FUCKING TIME IN ROCT#'no Tara I don't drink because of the growing hopelessness that I'm incapable of doing anything. I do it. Because its fun'

Imagine being a paimon hater. Could never be me. She's literally a silly goose if you don't like the va's performance either play in a different language or with sound off like truly. Her very presence tells you so much about the traveller even if you don't like her as a character shes an effective narrative device. You can almost always judge the current tone of the quest based on the way paimon acts AND gives you a good measure for how the traveller might have behaved in relation to their sibling becahse paimon is nothing if not peak siblingcore. She's silly and she's teaching the traveller the language of teyvat and she might be an envoy of celestia like I mean what's even going on with her but ugh I love her I'm too tired to express it well but literally. What is even so terrible about her that everyone hates her so much what has she ever done to anyone. She's silly. When did silliness become a crime

everytime i think about the parrllels/similarities between rhine and the shade of life i convulse
In "Before Sun and Moon" we see the shade of life first mentioned when talking about the creation of the earth. "The Primordial One and one of its shades created the birds of the air, the beasts of the earth, and the fish of the sea. Together, they also created flowers, grass, and trees, before finally creating humans — our ancestors, numerous as the stars in the sky, uncountable as the sand on the shore." and the thing is that everything rhine has done has been a (albeit a crude) imitation of this. 'Birds of the air,' can be accounted to Durin; 'Beasts of the earth' can be accounted to the rift wolves and many of Rhine's other little mess ups; 'Fish of the sea' obviously represents Elynas. Plus, her title "A flower that is not of this world" accounts for the whole vegetation idea. And obviously, albedo (and by extension subject two/dorian, if you want to count him,) would represent the 'humans'. Almost all of these parallels though are, very obviously, warbled verisons of what the shade of life did. Durin is a dragon, and by no means a bird (sorry durin); The riftwolves are definitely not what they meant when implying 'beasts' ; Elynas is a serpent,, and decidedly not a fish. And Albedo isn't technically 'human'. The better part of this is that each of these directly aim to hurt whatever it be they're imitating. Durin would obviously harm the birds. Elynas likely obliterated the fish population in Fontaine. The riftwolves have obviously kill many land animals. And Albedo has the imminent issue of destroying mondstadt, and its humans.
and this is all without even MENTIONING the concept of hearts and its associations. In the new fontaine wings (Wings of Merciful, Wrathful Waters) we see it describe, "When that first heart was removed, the envoy of Celestia, the leader upon whose shoulders lay the duty to create life, came to the great primeval sea, and there she created another heart. That heart had like nobility unto a dragon, but lacked its outer form, and had the majesty of a god, yet was bereft any divine duty. And though it was created by a ruler of humans, its substance and essence were all original matter from this world, entirely without outside elements." And just reading it-- its just like. Wow. Okay. We're REALLY going with this now Rhine was (as we can assume) someone who was relied on in Khaneri'ah to use to art of khemia to create life. Khaneri'ahs underground, so they obviously wouldn't have the resources for normal agriculture. Hence that duty to "create life" being hoisted onto Rhine. Plus, the idea of hearts is literally one of the key points of every majorly important rhine-creation (I.E the still-beating hearts of elynas and durin,) -- but the things is that hearts in rhine's circumstance, directly oppose what we see established by the shade of life. "its substance and essence were all original matter from this world, entirely without outside elements." implies the shade of life made them out of only things from this world; but obviously. Rhine most certainly didn't follow that path, like. at all. We know Durin, Elynas, and likely most of (if not all) of her other creations are from 'cosmic darkness' that was enough to deem them not from this world.
the most important thing about all this though is what i feel like this means for the heart of Naberius. we know, by law of assumption; Naberius is more or less likely the descender who got chopped the bits and recycled into the gnosis. And its more or less likely that Rhine having imitated every the step the Shade of life had taken in the steps of creating teyvat; Rhine's end goal is to obtain her ultimate form of perfection this way, or the 'truth'. Descenders are the only ones not bound by teyvat's laws and fate. And if we can assume Rhine has some goal to change or alter fate; considering the heavy idea of prophecies and fate around both her, the hexenzirkel, and khaneri'ah. And even then; if its ultimately to learn the truth, Naberius would be unaffected by irminsuil. And since they're far older than most other entities in teyvat, Rhine has to be chasing after something that only someone like them would know. What that is? no clue. I'm too tired to figure that out right now okay guys.
// Anyways this isnt even beginning to mention how at the end of the wings description it adds: "Humans desire judgment because they feel guilty. Humans want, and so they want to give things up — humans always desire a god." because holy shit that's one big can of worms to be opening up at 11:35 on a Tuesday night.

About Guizhong Having a Correlation with Domains and the Heavens (TL;DR)
It is indeed a fact that Guizhong has similarities with the Heavens & Domains.
She's an entitity that "descended" from above, and also has clothes that resemble to the Abyss/Heavens & Domains.
To continue with the theory we need to asume that all deities descend from the Heavens or recieved the blessing of the Heavens.
With Heavens I don't mean Celestia, but a higher/different power like the Primordial One and its shades or even the Seelies/any other divine envoy.
This theory also follows another theory from a video of @/Ashikai.
Where she talked about domains being concentrated places of space & time. According to this theory these places are like the teapot function, where we can have a big space in such an small teapot.
Domains could be places full of chaos, crowded with forbidden knowledge or random data of Teyvat.
This data could be physical items that the ley lines cannot storaged for some unknown reason.
So because these items cannot be in the ley lines & in the world of Teyvat, domains were created by the Heavens so Teyvat could exist with peace.
Here is where Guizhong finally appears, to be part of the creation of domains.
I have three leads about Guizhong being a creator of Domains:
(1st lead) The ornament she uses in her clothes, and also her clothes being similar to Lumine's & Paimon's clothes.
The ornament of Gui can be seen in various forms around Teyvat, like in the Viparya flower, in the elemental attack sight of Nahida and more.
But I think that @archa1c_l0rd (in twitter) can talk better about it. This post was helped by this other one...
Link: https://twitter.com/archa1c_l0rd/status/1617437510912860162
(2nd lead) I think that Gui's clothes look pretty similar Paimon's clothes (asuming that Paimon has some corelation to the Heavens).
And also a bit to Lumine's clothes (if she also even has some corelation to the Heavens.
(3rd lead) The 3rd lead is the catalyst weapon Memory of Dust.
According the weapon's description, in this dumbbell lies all the wisdom of Gui, one that Rex Lapis was never able to unlock after Gui passed away in the Archon War.
What if inside this lies a domain just like in the teapot function?
Maybe Gui was able to create this dumbbel thanks to her previous creations of domains.
I would like to add that maybe domains could also storage god's residue so it doesn't harms Teyvat.
Maybe old destroyed civilizations had gods that died in some point of history (ex. archon war).
As also there could be pple's souls put in those domains, so they were not storaged in ley lines bc maybe they had forbidden knowledge?
This is why domains have artifacts and weapon ascension items.

King Deshret: The Mourning King
Spoilers Ahead
Recently, I've been digging through old quest items to build a more coherent understanding of Teyvat's history. Eventually, I came across 'The Lay of Al-Ahmar.' Found in the House of Daena, 'The Lay of Al-Ahmar' retells parts of King Deshret's history, particularly the end of his life. However, in the earliest paragraphs, Deshret is described as "the son of the sky" who "recalled the boundless paradise high above."
On their own, these descriptions are fairly innocuous. If anything, they seem to point towards Celestia. Nevertheless, as I was reading, I recalled that in the 'Flower of Paradise Lost' artifact set, Nabu Malikata speculated that King Deshret could possibly "transcend the absurd shackles that governed this world." When the 'Flower of Paradise Lost' artifact set was first released, I didn't think much about that phrase because at the time, it meant nothing to us. However, it does now.
Individuals capable of transcending the laws of Teyvat are always Descenders.
That is what differentiates Descenders from ordinary Outlanders, as was reiterated in Skirk's Story Quest. An Outlander is an external being, foreign to Teyvat, while a Descender is an Outlander who can influence Teyvat's fate.
With that said, I think Nabu Malikata believed King Deshret was a Descender, and while I don't necessarily agree with her, I theorise he might have been an Outlander. He was the Mourning King, always longing for the past, always grieving for distant histories, but as implied in the description for 'Staff of the Scarlet Sands', he was unaware of both the Moon Sisters and Heaven's Divine Envoys. Meaning, either two things:
He was not nearly as old as I—and many others—believed, and as such, was born at a much later date than expected
Or, he was an Outlander who descended well after these events
I'm well aware I could be reaching, and that groupings of circumstantial evidence doesn't prove much, but it's food for thought, all the same.

𝐗𝐋𝐕. One of the characteristics that the very first humans created by Phanes bear is that they don't possess a gland in their brain whose secreted hormones impede them to see the truth of the world, masked by the encroaching Heavenly Principles, unlike the humans that would come after the War of Vengeance that would prelude the Apocalypse in Teyvat. The same is true to Dain, who was explained that it was of extreme necessity to contain the original laws of the world for a chance at survival in it prior to being tasked to retrieve the Genesis Pearl from the Abyss —not virulent yet as it would later become by the actions of the gods and the arrival of Forbidden Knowledge—.
Soon after his descent to Teyvat, Dain came into contact with the aftereffects of Phanes' doings to the world. Its resentments and hatred turned into darkness, attacking everything in sight and a natural enemy to the humans that have grown used to fight against it as the world in itself that was fabricated as per the Primordial One's design in an attempt to restore it to its origins. To his surprise, he found a dragon who was fighting against this darkness in order to protect what was salvageable of the world. Prior to his descent, Dain was told that the dragons are the worst enemies of the gods and humans alike and that they must be eradicated. But there was a wisdom this dragon displayed that made him question everything he knew: if dragons antagonize everything that is related to the Primordial One, then what is the reason for protecting this world instead?
During the first moments when the world began reacting to the coming of the Forbidden Knowledge and as per the deep sentience of the dragon over that which he had command, he was tainted by the Abyss and a conflict between him and Dain arose, leading to the former's murder.
And before the dragon falls into the chasm that dissolves all things, he will think of the times he once spent with the hero. And at last, he will say: ◜Yes, hatred shall not fill me. I know that you have not seen the sights I have, and that is why you wish to stop me.◞ ◜The star-beasts shall drink the amniotic fluid of the world dry. A hundred years from then, all life on its surface shall be wiped away.◞ ◜I will surely return to save all souls. Ten years, even a hundred years may pass, but I shall be reborn as a new universe.◞
But seeing the dragon's disposition even at Death's doors, in a moment of lucidity devoid of the abyssal influence also made Dain lose something precious to him: he will never again believe in anything that the sum of human knowledge cannot completely grasp and understand. Thus having exposed to the dragon's final revelation followed by what is an unjust death to Dain, one question arose:
What is the truth of this world?
At that moment, sensing that in truth Dain's mind is conflicted and stopped trusting the Heaven's fabricated reality and anticipating that he may become a foe to the Heavenly Principles, his memories regarding Celestia were erased. Thus Dain treaded the world at a loss of what to do, finding other people along the way starting from Sal Vindagnyr who also doubted everything they knew that was relied to them by the Heavenly Envoys and ultimately earning their respect and hopes to guide them away from the godly realm. Ultimately, through Dain's protection and combat skills he guided them far away where the gods' gaze shouldn't reach, putting in between their domain and the Abyss until, at Irminsul's roots a forest basking in moonlight was found and so Khaenri'ah would be founded right there.
Through everyone's efforts, knowledge and practises from their respective places of origins the base of the kingdom was established with Dain as their collectively chosen king. As the Apocalypse continued and more people became affected by the divine's irrational actions, more people would find their way to the moonlight forest or would be found by others who took it on themselves to guide those who had lost their homes and their faith to Khaenri'ah. Nevertheless, at a certain point, Dain fell into a coma due to the chilling pain he felt when the Ley Lines of various places of Teyvat were damaged in the war as an extension of Irminsul's own pain. During his coma, he would experience endless nightmares, all of them related to the events that were transpiring on the surface of Teyvat and the deeds of the Forbidden Knowledge running haywire in their attempts to have access to Irminsul.
After an unknown time has passed, he would wake without any memory: a blank slate. The sky that before was illuminated in the moonglow now tainted with red and a crimson moon hanging ominously over everything and as he investigated further to understand who he is and why he is there, he found out two things: in the modest palace he lived, he encountered that he was an important figure among the people who lived there as per the scriptures and the people now turned their faith on the crimson moon. Finding that this contradicts deeply with what the kingdom was like before he fell into coma and the bad feeling he had about that moon, Dain made no move to reclaim his throne. Instead, he fell into silence and accepted to be regarded as a high noble, his deeds leading him thereafter to become one of the pillars of Khaenri'ah out of a will of protecting the people and see humanity prosper still under the command of the king of the time: Crimson Moon.
But against all odds and despite a shattered memory due to the restructuring of the Ley Lines to fix them, Dain's original moment of losing faith in everything he's known shows itself as later on he becomes father of the Truthseeker art: initially meant to be a sword art to teach coming generations of knights that would later grow into a philosophy of its own.
#◟༺✦༻◞ glimpses in the past of a shattered spirit ┊headcanon.┊#I've finally come up with a decent background for Dain#that I'm satisfied with#it makes me really happy#to be able to express it coherently ;;#for the peeps who I plotted with#this shouldn't interfere with anything at all#as this is all in the past and it's not remembered#maybe until way later down the line#but even then it wouldn't have importance#at most there might be some very /very/ ancient scriptures#that allude to this#but that's about it#as it won't change what Dain is today#nor what he'd do later as the years pass in K.haenri'ah

egeria's 101 questions! (4.0 UPDATE!)
a silly list with my theories/speculations on the previous hydro archon to see if one of them is gonna to be true in the future! ( if you have some suggetions to on the list pls feel free to tell something to add)
egeria is coming back(reviving)

[no info yet]
2. egeria is a seele expy?
[no info yet]
3. egeria relationship with neuvilette was good/bad?
in the end of 4.0 archon quest, neuvillette says more about the rumors about the prophecy that cicles around fontaine, the prophecy that resumes: "in the end, the people will be dissolved into the waters, and only the hydro archon will remain, weeping on her throne… only that the sins of the people of fontaine be washed away" which is curious to see that he probably heard more about that prophecy by rumors not by egeria herself, very curious.
4. egeria relationship with furina (focalors) was good/bad?
also in the end of 4.0 archon quest, egeria tells about the prophecy on her last words: "in the end, the people will be dissolved into the waters, and only the hydro archon will remain, weeping on her throne… only that the sins of the people of fontaine be washed away" between 400 and 500 years, fontaine suffered (and continues to suffering) from a energy crisis left by egeria before going to Tunigi Hollow, now being sustained by Indemnitium that is produced by the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale. there is a lot a problems left by egeria to furina and as we can see in the archon quest (4.0 and 4.1) and she isn't so Experience to take care such large duties by herself and requests neuvillete help most of time. so for me their relationship wasn't the most stable one (or there was a lack of communication between them).
5. egeria have a connnection with the nymph's dream set?
technically yes! nymph's dream set history is substantially connectic to the Narzissenkreuz Institute, the institue was lead by gentle-natured Oceanid as the position was established in honor of the first Hydro Archon, egeria.
6. egeria have a connection with The Hexenzirkel?
still zero information, but only this sussy metioned on furina character description:
7. egeria have a connection with the seelie race?
[no info yet]
8. egeria have a connection with the primodial one?
surprisingly yes!
if we looked the Wings of Merciful, Wrathful Waters wind glider, in description says:
"when that fist heart was removed, the envoy of celestia, the leader uopn whose shoulders lay the create life, came to the great primeval sea, and there she created another heart" "she was the tears that flowed into the orimodial sea, seeking communication and understanding."
that text indicate that egeria was a "heart replacment" for the primodial sea, created by the shade of life, the purpose to be a substitute of the hydro sovereign.
[new speculations!]
9. is egeria sins related to abyss?
10. egeria is connected to skirk?

Hmmm. You’re right with the goddess of flowers bit, she was connected to the whole moon and Seelie stuff so if that already happened she’d be in the desert, and the djinn were probably created. With the lack of archon war- there wouldn’t be a need for the divine knowledge, would there? I’m pretty sure the goddess of flowers and Deshret were conspiring because of Celestias bs.
Without the goddess of flowers eternal oasis thing, and Deshret getting distracted with the golden slumber- Gurabad probably wouldn’t have the djinn problem and subsequent collapse. One of the new artifact sets implies that Remus was from the desert of Sumeru, and was unwilling to serve under “the sand kings throne”. So…. It’s still possible even without the collapse.
But I think the biggest thing with Remuria and how crazy they got was because of the symphony that would allow them to be separated from Fate right? Would that change now that Celestia is changed too? Also, Sybillia said she was an envoy that protected the silver tree and that she could still see into the future- which. That kinda makes me think of the whole moon thing you had going on? The firmament, the irminsul, the moons being used to predict past and future.
God I should probably stop. My brains just spinning in circles like. Remus making the stone bodies to try to avoid the curse of Fontaine people dissolving, the lack of archon war- does that mean Egeria doesn’t die in the desert, the loch folk don’t leave, the whole lotus tree thing in the oasis and pari don’t exist- there’s so much stuff no wonder all those stars were changing my god. Ajax got his work cut out for him fr fr
yeah no the celestia turnover and the lack of archon war and subsequent lack of cataclysm is going to make literally everything else completely different, so you got all that pretty much right
i did mean it when i said ajax was going to nearly lose his mind and spend and ungodly amount of time on his blorbo release dates project

Before the archon war trial arc begins we should get an event where all the archons and Neuvillette are present and you get to watch everyone's wherabouts like in that akademia tournament event, and Neuvillette keeps barely missing all the archons, like a Scooby doo bit.
Venti and Zhongli are actively avoiding him and coming up with dumb explainations for why they're chilling on the roof or fully left the premises(old man yaoi bait too)
Ei doesn't care she's ready to duel a dragon again but she's with Miko who DOES care and is leading Ei all over the place avoiding Neuvi
Nahida wants to have a civil conversation with him but she keeps missing him by chance because now Neuvi's running all over the place...
btw what do you mean, "ready to duel a dragon again"? i dont think raiden ever dueled a sovereign, the initial war between dragons and celesta happened waaaaay too long ago, and its during that war that sovereigns lost power. archon war when makoto came to power happened like, thousands of years later. so even if raiden murdered an electro dragon, which we didnt see mentions of tho, unless it happened at the very invasion of teyvat, the dragon would not be at full power. but thats like. zhongli territory old at least, i dont think raiden is that old. orobashi was most likely not a vishap, just a snake god, bc in enka they did experiments and torture on vishaps under his command and like. if he was a dragon, he'd know all vishaps are intelligent without tests.
the timeline is like. dragons rule and control the elements via authorities ->celestia invades ->war with dragons, celesta wins, most sovereigns are dead, all their authorities taken, BUT NO ARCHONS. celestia is powerful enough to keep elements under control by itself ->thousands of years pass, this is time of unified civilization and celestia being in close touch with ppl via heavenly envoys and sometimes nail-bombing->2 new descenders show up (we dont know if at the same time or not but im not sure), celestia has war with at least one of them, mb both, this drains their resources ->one of the descenders dead, the other makes truce with celestia, bc elements are getting from under control of celestia, i.e. risk of dragons regaining authorities ->celesta and descender create gnosis and give it to archons, this is done specifically to keep elements under control
sorry for digressing, yeah itd be funny. i think he should actually meet nahida, bc he already sounds sympathetic to her, she has rock solid alibi (being kept in a baby jail from birth for 500 years) and then one of the first things she did when she was out is to help healing dendro dragon. i just think nahida is under so much responsibility of always being the wise one and everyone else, and shes still a baby in a lot of ways, she needs someone older to look after her. honorary melusine
btw i dont think we'll ever get actual trials, i think we'll be confronting celestia before it can come to that

Once again he has poisoned me with ideas
Brother, why are you so mean to me? If you know that I don't really have much desire to write, especially not with this fandom.
So, Naruto x Genshin Impact AU, including Zhongli Jiejie x Boy Taru ZhongChi.
So after the whole Tsarista VS Celestia mess and the traveler and they sibling taking off outside of Teyvat, Tartaglia has achieved godhood out of sheer spite and is enjoying an incredible married life with Zhongli (male at this point), where despite having retired from Fatui himself, he dates, travels and fights to his heart's content.
One day he comes up with the wonderful idea of leaving Teyvat in a similar way to the Traveler and going on a second honeymoon with his husband somewhere in the multiverse, and after much effort, he has convinced his husband that his idea is incredible and they should do it.
Many hijinks later, they end up in Naruto's world. Zhongli (at that time Zhongli-jiejie, because I consider him gender fluid) and Tartaglia, or rather Ajax, land in Uzushiogakure where they are received as a kind of divine envoy and stay there for a few decades, and then say goodbye to travel further afield from the Shinobi Continent.
For this reason, unfortunately they cannot help during the fall of the village and the news reaches them almost half a year after the event, that's how far away they were.
Anyway, they both continue traveling until they finally stay in the Snow Country for a while due to Ajax's nostalgia for Snezhnaya. There they meet Minato who is on a diplomatic mission as Hokage and mistakes Ajax for an Uzumaki and extends an invitation to Konoha. Zhongli and Ajax decide to think about it.
Unfortunately while Zhongli and Ajax are traveling to Konoha, the Kyūbi occurs. By the time they arrive, two weeks have passed, Minato and his wife are dead, and the village is in very bad condition. While investigating what happened, Ajax learns everything and also about Naruto's existence and what the villagers think of him. He gets pretty pissed off, because he lived for decades with the Uzumaki and learned the difference between container and content, so he again convinces his spouse that infiltrating the village and taking care of the child of the deceased Hokage and his wife is an incredible idea.
Zhongli, Prime of Adepti, decides to follow his mischievous spouse and begins to modify some memories and falsify papers so that their move took place a little before the Kyūbi and they were already there during the event.
They pose as a somewhat eccentric marriage of a half-Uzumaki and a woman from outside the continent, Zhongli again begins to work in a funeral home as a consultant and Ajax throws himself into the life of a merchant and mercenary.
Anyway, knowing that they couldn't approach Naruto in plain sight due to the Hokage's ban, Zhongli begins to approach Naruto when the orphanage's nannies and the ANBU neglect him (which is often) and he dedicates himself to taking care of him.
Feeding, diaper cleaning, sleep and "maternal" care, Zhongli takes care of everything. Naruto, despite the orphanage's nannies, is a cheerful and well-cared for child. You are not neglected or malnourished and your room is starting to look incredibly stylish. Rumors of a ghost begin, especially when the boy starts saying "Mommy" into the air.
All thanks to Zhongli making everyone "forget" about his existence, even when he is next to a shinobi, to the point that he is invisible to everyone around him. Ajax laughs his butt off on the other side of the village when the Hokage himself visits to see the ghost and ends up mistaking it for Kushina.
By the time Naruto is five years old, and the Hokage gives him his own apartment, he begins to spend less time in it unless it is his allowance day. The rest of the time he spends with Zhongli and Ajax, whom he sees as his parents despite knowing that they are not. The Hokage is unaware of this until years later when Kakashi informs him of this when he accidentally sees it.
The rest of the time it's married shenanigans as they take care of a child and prepare him to be a powerhouse while gleefully mocking the Hokage and his shinobi.
Anyway, the plot of Naruto being cared for by different characters from other worlds is something that has been seen and read in hundreds of other fanfics, but I have never seen one from Genshin, so here we are.
I've been obsessed with Zhongli-jiejie turning off the lights on BoyTaru for a couple of weeks, so we're implementing it here. So in fact, yes it is a ZhongChi, no, I don't want to change it Jedny, don't make me repeat it.
PS: Does anyone want to adopt this? I really don't feel like writing
#genshin impact#naruto#zhongchi#鍾タル#zhongli#zhongli genshin impact#childe tartagalia#childe genshin impact#childe tartaglia ajax#tartaglia#naruto uzumaki#konohagakure#yes the plot is used to oblivion#but tell me you don't want to see these two idiots taking care of perhaps the most idiotic child of all time#and that wouldn't make you happy#I know you would be lying#the Zhongli-jiejie thing is because I really want to see Ajax getting stepped on by four-inch heels and being grateful for it.#especially since he is definitely not the top#zhongli-jiejie

The Wilderness Curse
Ever since the desert lore was released, and comparing it to other ancient civilizations.. I've been thinking about what if the curse of the wilderness is not actually laid by Celestia?
What if it's a case of people believing a sort of "natural disaster" is a punishment from heaven? something very common in human history but also in genshin's history from what we've seen; like the desert people believing the curse of Shiruyeh was.. well a curse related to Shiruyeh, and not Liloupar punishing the people by using abyssal power as well (a curse that left people to become creatures who lost their language and faces.. so just like hillichurls)
So far, all the destroyed civilizations we've heard of had something in common, their humans or gods somehow in one way or another made contact with the Abyss (forbidden knowledge)…
We can go as far as the tiara artifacts civilization; the envoys of heaven talked directly with the people, but once they stopped answering them, humans looked for answers "in the deep places of the earth" (see the last sentences of the artifacts):
We hear of it through the Sal Vindagnyr ppl who used to receive blessings from the skies until they suddenly stopped, where a celestial nail fell (possibly to stop some abyssal corruption?) and where we see their last scribe turned into a lawachurl..
What if each time, it came back to people being doomed to fall into temptation as it says in Before Sun and Moon:
You are either satisfied with living under the rule of the heavens, or you make contact with the Abyss and suffer the consequences, the heavens throw a nail wherever they need to patch up an "abyssal leak" not really caring for survivors - but the people are already touched by the corruption, they turn into monsters and lose "their faces and language". Those witnessing it assume it is a divine punishment but if the people were dangerous and had to be punished why wouldn't they kill them and stop their ideas from spreading like has happened with khaenri'ahns and the Abyss Order?
The hillichurl themselves are attracted to the power of the abyss from what we've seen, praying and walking towards the "crystal", and even their beliefs could possibly be tied to it (a little outdates thread i wrote about their belief in "One"), why would celestia curse them with something that attracts them to the very thing they seem to always be fighting?
I think the wilderness curse is an effect caused by contact with abyss power/goo, possibly affecting different humans/creatures differently, and all this time it was simply seen like a punishment from the gods..
always easier to put the blame on something/someone else rather than just accepting it's nature doing it's thing or worse, it's your own very fault. Oh, the arrogation of mankind!!
this is a theory i wrote on twitter early 2023 and have since just found more and more things that confirm it, wanted to have it written in tumblr as well but here's the original thread:

Operation: Fontaine Fiasco
✨ Operation: Fontaine Fiasco ✨ 💥 Diplomacy? Never heard of her. 💥
Genshin Impact One-Shot Imagine Featuring: Kaeya, Diluc, Venti, Jean, Lumine
Kaeya’s flirting with everyone in sight. Diluc’s five seconds from committing arson. Venti just escaped police custody with a fistful of croissants. Jean’s one deep breath away from snapping. And Lumine? She’s holding the wine, the bags, and what might be a bomb.
🛍️ Arrests. Explosions. Pastry theft. 👁️ Watch the Mondstadt dream team single-handedly ruin diplomatic relations with Fontaine. 📌 #genshinimpact #oneshot #humorfic #kaeya #diluc #venti #jean #lumine #fontainefiasco #teamdisaster #chaoscrew
The crisp Fontaine air carried the scent of fresh pastries, engine oil, and polished coins as the Mondstadt crew stepped off the teleport waypoint. A diplomatic mission, Jean had said. A quick errand. In and out. Shake a few hands, smile for the press, maybe sign a document or two.
Lumine knew better. She always knew better.
Thirty-seven minutes in, her arms were about to fall off. She looked less like a Traveler and more like an overburdened delivery mule. She staggered beneath the weight of shopping bags—fabrics, vintage wine, Fontainean trinkets, experimental bath oils, a suspiciously rattling box labeled “Absolutely Not Explosive,” and, inexplicably, a half-empty bottle of Dandelion Wine that Venti had somehow handed off just before being tackled by city guards.
“Kaeya,” Jean snapped through gritted teeth, striding briskly across the plaza in her heels, “can you please stop negotiating for perfume samples with your shirt unbuttoned?!”
Kaeya turned with all the elegance of a bored prince, his unbuttoned blouse catching the breeze like a dramatic prop. He twirled a dainty vial of pink liquid between his fingers. “It’s called charm-based diplomacy, Acting Grand Master.”
“It’s called public indecency,” Diluc growled, brushing past with thunder in his step. His coat flared behind him like a storm about to hit port.
Meanwhile, Venti—already arrested—was giving an impromptu performance from the back of a police cart. Shackled, disheveled, and delightfully drunk, he spread his arms like a tragic opera star. “You imprison me for music and merriment? I’ll compose a ballad so heartbreaking, it’ll shatter wine glasses in Celestia!”
“You broke into the opera house,” the Fontaine guard replied flatly. “During a children’s matinee.”
Jean’s mouth parted in stunned horror.
“They needed culture!” Venti protested. “Besides, the acoustics were divine.”
Kaeya, completely unbothered, chimed in. “Second time this week, if we’re keeping score.”
Venti hiccupped dramatically. “Thinking is so last century. I prefer chaos.”
Lumine adjusted the bags digging into her arms. “Remind me why I agreed to this again?”
Jean rubbed her temples. “Because Mondstadt needed diplomatic representation. Not... this.”
Kaeya leaned against a lamppost, watching the escalating scene like a delighted spectator. “Want me to deliver the formal apology this time? I hear the local envoy appreciates... flair.”
Diluc stopped in his tracks. “Say that again and I swear, the next merchant you sweet-talk gets a faceful of molten glass.”
“Yikes,” Lumine muttered as a bag slipped from her arm and thudded against the cobblestones. “Can we just go home before someone calls the Fatui for crowd control?”
But alas, Fontaine had other plans.
A loud crash rang out from a nearby bakery, followed by a shriek. Moments later, a flour-dusted Venti dove out of the shattered front window, clutching an armful of croissants like he’d just liberated them from tyranny. Apparently, in the time it took the guards to radio backup, he’d sweet-talked a rookie into loosening his cuffs—then vanished in a sugar-dusted blur. Fontaine security, meet Mondstadt anarchy.
“CROISSANTS FOR FREEDOM!” he bellowed, emerging with wild eyes, powdered sugar smeared across his cheek like war paint. In that moment, he looked less like a bard and more like a revolutionary pastry thief—glorious, ridiculous, and absolutely unstoppable.
Jean looked skyward, as if pleading with Celestia for deliverance. “Please no.”
Lumine frowned at the wine bottle in her hand. “Is it supposed to glow like that?”
Kaeya squinted. “That’s not Dandelion Wine. That’s... oh. That’s Fontainean Spirit No. 7.”
Jean’s voice dropped. “The kind that—?”
“Explodes upon exposure to direct sunlight,” Kaeya confirmed, his tone far too casual for the sheer level of chaos that implied. “Highly volatile. Spectacular results. Probably fatal.”
Lumine’s eye twitched. “I’m putting it down now.”
Kaeya raised an eyebrow. “Still not the weirdest souvenir I’ve seen Venti leave with.”
Venti, mid-sprint, flung a croissant at Kaeya. “Fear not, friends! I shall plead artistic immunity!”
The guards finally caught him—this time with backup—and dragged him away by the ankles as he sang operatic vibrato off-key.
“I vote we leave him here,” Diluc said.
“We can’t,” Jean groaned. “He’s technically still listed as a cultural ambassador.”
Kaeya offered Jean a croissant from his coat pocket. “Want one?”
Jean stared daggers. “I will bury you with that croissant.”
“Dramatic,” Kaeya said with a low chuckle, eyes glittering with amusement. “I like it. Adds flavor to the threat.”
Lumine dropped her bags with a huff and stared at the nearest fountain. “If I jump in, do you think Fontaine law grants immunity for self-inflicted diplomatic drowning?”
Kaeya shrugged. “Only if you make it rhyme.”
“Only if it’s poetic!” came Venti’s faint voice from afar.
By now, a curious crowd had gathered—Fontaine locals whispering, laughing, some even applauding.
Jean turned. “We’re leaving. Now.”
“But we haven’t even visited the weapons exhibit,” Kaeya protested.
“I will lock you in a museum display case,” Jean hissed, her composure cracking as she jabbed a finger at Kaeya's chest. “Glass walls, full lighting, and a plaque that reads: Local Menace, Do Not Tap the Glass.”
“I volunteer,” Venti called just before the guards tripped, causing him to faceplant dramatically.
Lumine massaged her aching shoulders. “Next time I’m bringing Amber. Or Paimon. Or literally anyone with sense.”
Kaeya grinned. “Too late. You’re one of us now.”
“Unfortunately,” Jean echoed.
As they finally began to leave, Venti’s voice floated back through the plaza: “This will make an excellent bard’s tale!”
Jean didn’t look back. She merely raised a hand—whether in farewell, surrender, or silent threat was anyone’s guess—and kept walking with the determined stride of a woman who had just added 'Fontaine Incident' to her mental resignation letter.
