CFV Week 2022 Retrospective

Alright, this is long overdue.

First of all, we'd like to apologize. In case you didn't know, doing a sort of wrap-up post is pretty customary for fandom weeks, but with all of the stress our little 3 people team went through in October (*cough* school *cough*), we kind of put it off after the week was done, and now it's April?? Where did the time go.

🌟 Regardless, a massive thank you to everyone who participated in CFV Week 2022!! We cherished all of your contributions, which by our count tallied up to 58 entries! 🌟

💟 We'd also like to thank everyone who followed this blog (there's over 30 of you!), liked, reblogged and commented on the entries! That's what these themed weeks are all about after all. Sharing your love of the fandom with the community. 💟

We definitely learned a lot from this as well, and we hope to be able to use that knowledge to improve in the future.

Yes, you read that right. This post isn't just a thank you notice for all of you, but also an announcement post!

CARDFIGHT VANGUARD WEEK will return in 2023!!

The date isn't set yet, it might be in October again, but we are open to change it if you guys would prefer a different month!

We'll do another survey to figure out the date as well as the prompts, so stay tuned.

Im a little late but hello I didnt know if to do the clan or AU promt, at the end I dediced for the fantasy one because i played wakfu yesterday and made me remember the AU I have... dont have much just assigned classes to some characters.. I should probably talk more about it for the crossover day?

Day-5

Favorite Pairing-Aichi/Kai.

Loved their dynamic and bonding which was shown to develop throughout the series.Kai was the reason Aichi first started playing vanguard since Kai introduced vanguard to Aichi.I loved how their meeting when they were kids.Aichi changed Kai and Kai also changed Aichi.I loved how they helped each other in difficult situations.It was heart breaking in link joker when Aichi realized Kai was reversed to become stronger than Aichi but in the end Aichi managed to get through Kai and thats when their bond started to get stronger.At the end of link joker Aichi seemed to have become Kai's vanguard by dragging Kai by the wrist towards his friends.

Kai also repayed Aichi by saving him in legion mate and made him realize that he did not have to carry all the burdens by himself.The final battle of legion mate and link joker were both so good!

Their relationship improved a lot in G series and it seemed that they were more open to each other than before.Loved their tag fight against Chaos Breaker Dragon which showed the strength of their bond.

CFV Week Day 5: Favorite Pairing

Do you even need to ask? Shipped these two since I was a kid. Love the perpetual angst between these too, being separated by fate😫, reforming that bond (in V series), the partner in crime thing they’ve had since Legion Mate (their avatars literally legioned together, how they are always supporting each other (Kourin is the real reason Psychi was stopped cause she convinced Kai to cardfight him) and yeah I could go on😅.

Kourin: *thinking* I would literally burn down the world for him.

Will always love these two. Even just these screenshots without words or anything say so much.

CFV Week Day 6: Crossover

I think it would be really cool if they played beyblade in vanguard. And a little silly. Imagen it phantom blaster dragon but its a really cool beyblade!!

And beyblade burst and cfv are already so similar, they have tournaments, insane people, and demonic possession!

Also Kamui and Agia should fight, thier both feral little guys
