elias is the type who didn't really think about caregiving until it was just. presented to him. he does okay with kids, but to be honest he's never really been one for the messes they make

but with a regressor, he's just charmed by them. their little habits, babbles, and laughs make his heart soar, and when they cry it rips his heart out.

elias has...so many fancy things for his regressor to play with. fancy crayons, sketchbooks instead of computer paper, the newest montessori-like toys he can find, all that stuff. he also has the softest blankies, tons of cute clothes, and the Best snacks

he's a bit of a workaholic when it comes to the institute, so often his regressor is playing on the sofa in his office while he works, and when he takes breaks it's just watch the little one for a few minutes

not the best with direct comfort, but he does (of course) know how to identify what's wrong very quickly, and he can usually resolve the issue. regressor crying over a bad day because they had a fight with someone? yknow, elias has this pipe he found-

elias is very weak to little ones, and since he has the means to get them whatever they want, he gets them whatever they want. he buys...SO MANY build a bears...

you were baking for your caregiver, also known as nancy wheeler, while you were big. it's fun! you love baking, especially for nancy since she always tells you how proud of you she is. she was at work and you woke up big so she didn't feel the need to call anyone to check on you.

you were starting to feel little around the time you knew nancy would come home. you were doing so well and you tried forcing yourself to be big.

you felt yourself slipping and you just let it happen. even little you knew to put on oven mitts when dealing with the oven.

you heard the sound of nancy turning her key and you knew it was over. it was the sound of jingling keys, the clicking of the lock... the smell of cookies... all the familiar things around you that triggered your little space.

you ran to the door practically running in circles, you were so excited.

"nancy! i... i made you cookies! and and and i... i..." you could hardly get your words out before the timer for your cookies went off.

"ooo! there they are!!" you said excitedly. before nancy could stop you you flung the oven door open and grabbed the tray of cookies with both hands, without any mitts to protect your hands.

you dropped the tray, stared at it in shock for a second, and looked to nancy with burning eyes and a wobbling lip.

"angel..." she said softly.

you ran up to your room and into the small walk-in closet that you and nancy turned into your safe space. you had to turn the knobs to open both doors your now pink hands hurt really bad. even worse sice you kept wiping your face in your safe space.

you cried for a good few minutes while nancy had picked up your mess, it wasn't bad but a few cookies came off the cookie sheet and broke.

"angel?" she asked gently, opening the door to your safe space. "you okay?"

no response, just sniffles.

"hey honey?" she asked, sitting across from you. "i need you to look at me hon."

"i just wanted you to be proud of me!" you screamed, throwing yourself into nancy. "wanted to show you i was big girl!" you sobbed.

nancy held you and rubbed your back, letting you sob and get your emotions out.

your sobs reduced to sniffles after a bit and you sat back to look at your cg. "love you nance."

"i love you too angel," she smiled. "come on, let's get you cleaned up."

she helped you up and walked with you to the bathroom. she grabbed your hands and saw just how pink they were and still could feel the intense heat even from hovering her hand over yours.

"nance no," you mumbled. "don' wanna hurts too much." you whined.

nancy shook her head at you. "come on angel, you wanna be better don't you?" she asked.

you nodded your head and offered her your hands. she directed you to stand in front of the sink and she stood behind you, humming softly.

"we need to keep your hands under for ten minutes. can you stand still for ten minutes?" she asked, holding her hands under yours.

you shrugged. "i dunno."

"well... if you listen and be my brave little girl then you can watch paw patrol and eat ice cream." nancy offered. she giggled when she watched your entire face light up.

"really?" you asked, amazed.

"mhm! only if you keep being such a good listener."

"yes ma'am!" you nodded.

"good! now let's get the lotion and-"

"the paw patol lotion?" you asked excitedly.

nancy smiled and shook her head. "no honey, i'm sorry. you need big girl lotion."

you pouted at her and turned away. "don' wanna be a big girl anymore!"

nancy got the lotion from under the sink and walked around to look at you. "i know but it's to make you feel better. you wanna be better right?" she asked gently, already squirting a bit of lotion into her hand. "remember? paw patrol and ice cream," she reminded you.

"oh yeah! thanks nancy!" you said happily, sighing when the lotion touched your hands.

"feel good?" she asked,.

"mhm."

nancy smiled a bit wider as she rubbed it in. "good. i'm gonna have to wrap your hands, is that okay?"

The reactions I had were based on their appearance, trailers, or their appearances in routes. Some of these may be goofy but just bare with me, thanks.

Luca - He doesn't look like any of the characters I recognize... He's just green and that's it.

Klaus - Like Santa claus?

Randy - He looks like a nice guy and also giving off zesty vibes.

Azusa - He's so pretty! Why is there so many "???" in his bio? welp

Joel - Wow a cute boy with different colored eyes!

Vincent - He looks... kind of old.

Leon - He looks strange and why is he white all over?

Cerim - Why tf did he put a knife on the MC's throat? I don't like him already.

Guy - Well he IS a guy...

Glenn - A samurai warrior looking guy is in a wizard game?

Florin - He seems okay but, I don't like his last name. I've had conflict with someone who's name was this guy's last name so... yeah

Update #1 (Also 500 downloads yay!!)

The first update is out!

First of! Thank you all for your support! It was a big motivator to continue working on the game. Also, I am sorry for the long dry pause in between this and the first upload, I had some personal stuff I had to take care of first.  I hope I will be able to focus more on this game now lol!

What I added:

 Besides some improvements on the visual side, I have also added the introduction scene for Elias and worked a bit on the story progression. Furthermore, I also added soundeffects lol! I added a few new lines and edited out some errors from before. 

Updated all sprites and CG's (exept Elias' first one, I will probably redraw that one as well)

extended the club scene at the beginning and added another choice

fixed some spelling and small errors

added a new scene in the basement

added soundeffects

updated main menu

Plans for the future

I am going to add some more customization options for mc (only textual for now), stuff like pronouns, bodytype, skin, hair and eyecolour. Also, I do want to potentially add NSFW scenes, but I want to make a safe mode, so anyone who may be uncomfortable with sexual stuff can skip it easily. 

For the next update I will focus on writing "chapter 1", where you will be able to explore more of your environment and maybe even find out more about Elias and Johan!

Regressor Daisy Tonner Headcanons!

so. pretty sure we can all guess why daisy regresses. why does this show traumatize them all so young akwkxkanfsna

daisy usually regresses on a bit of a wide scale, anywhere from 2-10, sometimes not specific enough of an age label. she just feels *small* and its enough to calm her down

usually the younger she feels, the farther away she feels from the hunt. if she's at the youngest end of her regression age, she doesn't feel those urges and she can actually relax

needless to say, elias really doesn't like her regression because it makes her effectively useless to him when he needs someone taken care of (with bullets or fists)

basira is her cg, of course. she found out about daisy's regression pretty early on when they worked together in the police

daisy trusts basira basically blindly, especially when she's regressed very small

daisy lovesssss going to the park. she can run around, slide, swing, play on all the equipment, so long as basira keeps an eye on her because she gets scared to play if basira isn't watching

shes pretty scared of herself and who she becomes when she's regressed, which...is hard to handle. lots of shed tears, lots of attempts at comfort, lots of crying herself to sleep

daisy loves sweets, and she will sniff them out wherever basira hides them. she knows she isn't allowed to have too many, but she does not care. basira has absolutely found daisy with a bottle of pancake syrup, drinking it like its a sippy cup, on more than one occasion

playdates with jon? playdates with jon

at first neither of them get along and playdates are not really allowed because basira thinks daisy will still kill jon, but after a while when they become Trauma Buddies, yeahhh playdates are fine

(in this world polychives is a go shhhh its not important to daisy)

basira gets pics sometimes of just. daisy and jon napping together from tim or martin or sasha, and its so sweet. she has also gotten pics of daisy picking jon up, or of them petting street cats

there is also video evidence of these two having. maybe one singular braincell to share...they spent maybe half an hour one day just running and jumping onto the sofa in the archives. just yeeting themselves at it and laughing their heads off (it was daisy's idea)

i love the idea of daisy's main nicknames being pup and sugar. she gets called all the regular ones (baby, kiddo, sweetheart, etc) but pup and sugar are her faves

I'm not sure whether anyone's looked into the precedent for a utility player just off the IL pitching a garbage time ninth inning during a 13-1 loss then showing up the next day and hitting a walk-off grand slam to win the game and break the losing streak and bring some sort of hope back too a bewildered fanbase. Seems like something the Elias Sports Bureau might know. They love that kind of shit. In any case, last night was certainly the first time I heard of any of that happening. And boy did the Sox need it. Of course, every pundit and their cousin is wondering whether last night was just the boost the Red Sox needed or whether it was just a fun as hell end to what had been another lacklustre night at the plate for most of the Red Sox lineup. Others are somehow saying it doesn't count because Urias should have been called out on his check swing the at-bat before. Those others should probably shut the fuck up. Shit like that happens all the time. When it happens in our favour, we nod and are grateful in the understanding that next time it's probably going to happen in the other team's favour and to not get too upset about it. Ignoring the overall arc of the season and all the various storylines it entails, that was a fucking awesome way to win a baseball game. Walk-offs are fun (when you're the home team), dingers are fun, grand slam dingers are fun, grand slam dingers that hit the Fisk pole are fun. Even if all this is just a pause on the general existential anxiety the Sox are going through, let's enjoy it while we can and look on the bright sides.

Brayan Bello (hey, his name has my name in it) pitched another peach, going six and two thirds, giving up the one run.

We only used three relievers and they all did a pretty good job, with Jansen getting the save. Gosh, could they use a break. However, I don't see any of our rotation clocking any CGs any time soon.

Pablo Reyes went from pitching the ninth inning on Sunday afternoon to hitting the game-winning walk-off grand slam in the ninth inning on Monday night. Is he the new Shohei Ohtani? Of course he fucking isn't. But he turned up on both occasions when we needed him, first for Garbage Time and second for whatever the opposite of Garbage Time is. Saving the Fucking Day Time. He went 3-for-4 with 4 RBIs and three runs scored. He ran the bases well (nice change from recent Red Sox shenanigans) as evidenced by the fact that he also scored the Sox only two runs up until the point he hit a big ole dinger in the bottom of the ninth with two outs.

The Skanks dropped two in a row and are once again by themselves in last place. Ha! Fuck those guys. Let's just ignore the fact everyone else in the division won yesterday.

Trevor Story comes back tonight! Does that mean the Red Sox will be instantaneously good? No. But they'll be different, and maybe different will be good.

Alfonse Route Chapter 13 (14-16), Chapter 14 (1-3)

Last week on the Alfonse route, Alfonse and Shithead fought Hugo for the Elixir Seed but Hugo exploded it and then.. killed himself? I guess?? Idk.

Ok so we find out that Hugo did not in fact kill himself and instead just... portalled away? Liz starts to lose hope, but Alfonse is full of fervor and asks Klaus to make another Elixir Seed, because even a weaker one made in a few days will work.

This is a CG for some reason. Shithead starts bitching again, but Alfonse gives him his research on Mikhail cells. Shithead is still shitty, and I give literally no shits about his feelings or this fucking subplot. It even escalates to a point where Alfonse even offers to leave the country and change his entire fucking identity just to shut down Shithead’s temper tantrum. 

Smh do none of yall care about your third brother? Ok! Anyway Shithead leaves and Alfonse and Liz are really sad about it.

So Chapter 14 begins and Liz and Alfonse have been up all night trying to think of a solution to the pandemic. Their plan apparently involves the sending of magical notes.

Oh god we switched out one asshole for another.

Oh god this means Zeus is less shitty than Shithead.

So Zeus, Hiro, Caesar, and Yukiya, being decent people (christ even zeus the bar is so low) answered Liz and Alfonse’s call to help them make medicine. Alfonse and Liz wonder where Elias is, and come to the conclusion that he’s just been held up. With that, Alfonse explains to everyone what they need to do.
