Challenge #3: ELIMINATION

With over 91% of the vote, the Dwarven miners overwhelmingly preferred Team 1's dish (led by Marigold Brandyfoot) over Team 2's! Thanks in part to Durin and Narvi's familiarity with Dwarvish tastes, their savoury meat and mushroom pies with stout ale gravy and pickles on the side were a big hit, and Annatar and Tom Bombadil managed to avoid coming to blows. Team 1 (Marigold, Bronwyn, Durin, Gil-Galad, Poppy, Narvi, Arondir, Annatar, & Tom Bombadil) is safe from elimination and Marigold has won the Immunity Pin for the 2nd time, guaranteeing her safety in the next challenge. 👏

After some deliberation, the judges have determined that the worst-performing members of Team 2 (led by Isildur) were Nori, Galadriel, and Glûg. This is Nori's 2nd time in the Bottom 3, and a big step-down for Galadriel who placed in the Top 3 in Challenge #1.

The winner of this poll will be the loser with the worst team challenge performance and will be eliminated from the competition. *womp womp*

when u go to write a mentally ill person in ur story you are presented two options. the first option is to write your mental illness realistically as you actually experience it with all the ups and downs and people who are like you will resonate with it and feel seen. except every person who reads instagram infographics on mental health that uses the phrase narcicisst for anyone who does anything that crosses them and unironically call themself a dark empath will call you scary and tell you that youre demonizing mentally ill people

Challenge #3: Cooking for Dwarven miners

It's time for the contestants' first team challenge! They have been split into two random teams, who each must work together to prepare lunch onsite in Khazad-dûm for one-hundred-and-one hard-working Dwarven miners who are craving some hearty food after their shift. The miners will taste both team's dishes and vote for which one they liked best.

It is the responsibility of the randomly-chosen Team Leader to give guidance (as well as receive others' input) on the dish idea, assign people to tasks, and oversee the plating and serving. Team members must try to work cohesively, stay on time and on track, and prepare enough food for everyone.

Team 1: Marigold (Leader), Bronwyn, Durin, Gil-Galad, Poppy, Narvi, Arondir, Annatar, Tom Bombadil

Team 2: Isildur (Leader), Elrond, Glûg, Adar, Halbrand, Elendil, Nori, Galadriel, Gundabale

After the miners have picked the team whose dish they liked best, the judges will deliberate on which contestant from the losing team will be eliminated (so keep an eye out for the next poll)!
