Mina starts off her vlive by cutely waving at the camera, smiling, and explains she’ll start talking and answering to comments when more people have joined the livestream

while waiting, she softly hums to herself - fans quickly notice that she’s actually humming SF9‘s Into the Night under her breath -, after a few minutes, she finally introduces herself, saying she wanted to do a vlive to catch up with her Suns as she‘s been so busy lately

she begins reading through some comments, smiling to herself and greeting fans from all over the world who are sending in their love

she says she feels really good and refreshed today as she’s had the day off and was able to sleep in and relax for a bit - she also says she spent most of her day rehearsing lines and writing some lyrics

some fans ask about her drama - Mina smiles happily and explains how thankful she is for this opportunity, and that she‘s actually feeling a bit nervous, hoping that people will enjoy her character and her acting

she explains that her and Nam Joo Hyuk have grown quite close already and often hang out after a long day of filming, getting something to eat and sometimes watching a movie together

she says she misses seeing her members though, and that everyone is quite busy preparing a new album - besides their regular training schedule, Skitz is rarely at home, basically living in her studio, Ari and Luna are often working on new choreographies, AJ is busy with her MC schedule, Yueliang is working on improving her vocal skills even more (when she’s not reading for once), Rin is studying a lot of fashion these days and Hannah is doing very well with her studies

Mina just shakes her head and crosses both arms, staring sternly into the camera, when someone asks to give some spoilers for the next comeback - she then laughs and winks: “I won’t spoil anything, or else our manager will be mad at me!”

she suddenly holds up a book, and shows the title to the camera - the Princess saves herself in this one. She explains that it’s a book full of poems and that most of them really resonated with her and almost made her cry when she read them

music wise, Mina says she hopes everyone is enjoying her weekly playlists and explains she‘s been really into The Weeknd lately, and that she also still listens religiously to the entire WOODZ‘ Equal album - she then sings a few lines of his songs Love me Harder as well as Memories, giggling when she messes up a bit, mumbling to herself that she should do a real cover soon

she also plays Sunmi‘s Borderline (she rambles for a few second about how talented Sunmi is), the English version of TWICE‘s More & More („Nayeon sunbaenim FIGHTING!“), and finally ONF’s Sukhumvit Swimming, saying she really loves the song and thinks the members looked very cute in the music video

she jokingly says it wouldn’t be her if she didn’t also play some SF9 - she then plays My Story, My Song and softly sings along to it

she also explains she recently watched the indie movie The Girl from the Song together with Luna, and really loved it, saying she really wants to go to the Burning Man festival now, as that’s where the movie was set

when asked about when she last saw Youngbin, she begins to pout and sighs, saying it’s already been a few weeks now as they‘ve both been so busy, but that she hopes they‘ll soon be able to catch up with each other

lastly, she promises to upload a new cover soon, and that she hopes her Suns will continue to always cheer her on

being honest, I’ve got tons from the past eight years of k-pop I’ve experienced. but just off the top of my head, One Shot from my boys B.A.P or Skydive. one of those, just because of the immense, intense storyline of it and I love those songs so much. the character expressed by my boys in those videos kills me & all the twists and turns.

JongTae or MinKey or TaeKai, I live for my SHINEE boy’s friendships and I live for the TaeKai friendship. my dancing boys

4. Least Favourite Girl Group?

I hate answering this because I know i’ll get bashed for it but it’s honestly Blackpink. it’s not the girls, it’s partially just the lack of ‘music’ and they’ve all improved over the years but I think the lack of actual music is what bothers me most which isn’t their fault. maybe I’ll get into them again but I doubt it, I’m too up 2NE1′s ass since Day #1 to be open unfortunately.

5. Favourite Girl Group?

so I’m going to give my current favourite and then my ultimate favourite(s) so I can separate the two. so currently, CLC & Mamamoo. Mamamoo has been a favourite for a while but CLC became more of a favourite after their recent comeback which sold me. I’ve loved their music since 2016 but I think the constant change for a while in concept made it more iffy for me at that time. my ultimates though are 2NE1, SNSD, Sistar & Wonder Girls.

6. Favourite Duo?

there is a few but the mains are my kings TVXQ who always kill me and I’m grateful they were one of the first ones I got into. I’ll always loved them as a five because their OG music is also banging but yes, I love my vocal performance kings. also my JBJ95 babies, I love them a lot and I’m excited for their first comeback sometime soon.

I’m gonna do female & male so it gives me more space to work with. does JUS2 count? I always listen to nearly all groups and I haven’t gotten into or listened to a new group properly at least I don’t think so. I’ve been pretty disconnected for the past two months so I’ve kept up with K-Pop but not fully musically.

I’m putting five because 1. one for each of my boys, 2. I have a 1000+ album of photos just of my boys so I could pick tons more & 3. Wait you’re weirdly honest about some things and secretive about others, why? 

I talk and yell in my tags a lot. I’m here because I want to be slightly thirsty and anonymous on the internet. But also I have a huge fucking ego and a hard time shutting up about myself. I’m a Libra and I work in Entertainment and live in LA, so a lot of my Fics— either AUs or idolverse— relate to that or have Readers that also work in Entertainment or Creative-Adjacent industries.
