Official Bracket Announcement

After more than 420 individual nominations, 64 cards have been selected to compete to be tumblr's favorite Magic: The Gathering card!

You can view a complete list of Divisions and seeds below the cut

Thank you to everyone who submitted a card and supported their favorites. There are over 30,000 cards printed in Magic's history, so this poll would have been literally impossible without your help. There were a lot of very tight calls when putting this together, and not every card could make the final cut, but hopefully this bracket reflects the majority of the popular picks as well as a few individual favorite contenders.

The first matches of Division A will be posted tomorrow, November 5th at 10:00am PST. Division B will be posted the following day, then Division C, and so on. You will have a full week to vote in these matches for your favorite card. (Reminder: seed number is only a best guess at how a team will perform in a given bracket, and exist to facilitate a more interesting tournament. It is not at all uncommon for lower seed cards to beat higher seeds, and it is not a reflection of the quality of the card in of itself.)

WIBTA for sending the guy who my ex-fiance cheated on me with a constant stream of MTG cards? Okay so clarification here. As of this year my (29M) several year long relationship with my ex fiancé (31M) at the hands of my now ex best friend (32M) had ended. This occurred over a dispute concerning my rather unaccepting parents & the stressors my job had put on me. Everything had picked up & the ex friend feigned sympathy while he closed the gap between him & my now ex while I was busy & sorting my life out.

It was a really ugly falling out about two weeks after I had mailed the ring off to my ex's country. As we were long distance.

But before all of this this ex friend pressured me to buy him an 80+ something USD deck for MTG off of Amazon. Since we shared the same hobby. Him & I would buy each other stuff all the time so this was fairly normal but one thing to note was that I forgot to clear his information off of my Amazon.

Months passed & I got an idea seeing it again as I updated my information. See, there's a card called "Cheatyface" & I am sure you all can see what I was trying to get at here. But I know the ex friend ordered off of this one cardgame website & the card itself is like a dollar at most. & I know for a fact that if I were to put in his address & name it would be as if he ordered it without my name attached.

Now normally I would write this off as something juvenile but it had come to my attention by a mutual friend that my ex & my ex best friend had been touting around a recording of me that was taken & shared without my consent or knowledge. There are some legal ramifications here & I do in fact have proof but being in the financial situation I am in, I cannot pursue this at this time. On top of this both of them have been following my every move across social media. Something that my ex has a history with & has been a source of squabbling between us in the past as I have had a history of being stalked & it made me very uneasy.

But the idea has been sounding more & more appealing as my ex & my ex friend have been consistently finding me across different websites even under different names & usernames. I am heavily considering just buying a "Cheatyface" every two or so weeks for a little while & have it sent to the ex-friend's house. Especially since he buys off of that website anyway. It wasn't like I acquired the address through or for shady means but I know this definitely skirts a line. But at this point I just want to strike back somehow. I don't intend harm but just to be annoying but I really worry. WIBTA?

when me and my girlfriend were first talking on discord we had a bit of time where we played a little melee together and then for a while we stopped talking cause we were both anxious and didn't know what to say to each other and after like a month my gf got up the courage to text me and sent me a picture of this card and was like "what do you think of this and how does it work :0" cause she knew i liked magic and not a lot else. but anyway her sending me this card sparked us talking a lot and then eventually we started playing a bunch of guilty gear and eventually started dating while i watched her play teardown through discord and then you can fast forward to today where we are both so happy in each others arms and love each other so dearly. so the point of this story is, i want to thank cheatyface for introducing my wife and me and helping us get together. thank you cheatyface <3
