Final project for my environment class. This is my character John Lima's bedroom and workshop. He has a fascination with building and tinkering with things, having built his own robotic prosthetic arm. All the little details in this piece should give you some insight into his character. Long ago, scientists discovered a universe parallel to ours. It contained a planet called Bechamel, which was inhabited by beings of all shapes and sizes.

With continued research they were able to communicate, where they discovered that the Bechamel scientists were investigating our own universe as well. We discovered that their entire history paralleled ours closer than we originally thought. From World Wars to natural disasters, even language.

Research extended to create a “world between worlds”, that could be used to travel safely between Earth and Bechamel. This pocket-dimension of sorts is called The Roux.

This was an assignment for my environment class but I used it as an excuse to do more worldbuilding for my manga.

Susan is a sentient piece of sushi created in a lab, designed specifically to be a perfect being to protect the world.

Despite being the strongest being in the universe, she's not the fighting type. So she became a masseuse instead, and hopes to open up her own shop one day!

Still chasing that authentic copic marker feel. I think I'm getting closer.
