Btw if you do dig Alex's solo work, his production on Juliana Gattas' (famously of Miranda) album Maquillada en la Cama is worth checking out too. Its recognizable of his sound with touches of more experimental funky grooves and sound reminiscent of what Gattas band is known for; their sounds really are a match made in heaven. He also worked on Julieta Venegas' Tu Historia, which I still need to listen to, but she has a pretty solid reputation for producing great music.
