today, I was called to serve as the Ward Technology Specialist of Mulhouse Ward, Nancy Stake ❤️ the Ward Technology Specialist is one of the recent changes/addition in the General Handbook and their responsibilities can include the following: 1. Assist ward leaders with technical needs. 2. Teach members how to access and use Church media, apps, and other technology tools, including FamilySearch.org. 3. Support leaders and teachers who use technology tools to fulfill their callings. 4. Manage streaming of meetings and classes for those who cannot attend. 📻📺📟 when i transferred to Mulhouse, I promised our Heavenly Father to do my best to serve Him, and now He called me to help and bless other church members to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ through the use of technology — i know that these responsibilities comes with a promise that He would bless me spiritually and temporally 🤍 there’s a little resistance from some of the members because I was asked to give the closing prayer and I did it in English, a brother approached me and was wondering how i’ll fulfill my calling when i don’t speak french — so he asked me about my background then i responded to him in french and explained that sometimes my brain gets blocked when speaking french in front of hundred of french-speaking people, but of course i can understand and speak french now (but sometimes i need time to process 😅) — afterwards, he understood me and was thankful, then told me that we live in the same area 😅 some other members approached me and asked help already — this calling would definitely help me know everyone in the ward 😜😍 #amazingadventuresofbeaujethro #calling #calledtoserve #thechurchofjesuschristoflatterdaysaints #churchofjesuschrist #technology #itguy #ateguy #biotechnology (wrong hashtag, this is for my work hehe) 😅 #sunday #mulhouse #france #alsace (at Mulhouse, France) https://www.instagram.com/p/CleF9yJN-MP/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Once again, it's time for my personal General Conference tradition! In case people don't know what that is, my tradition is that I order a big Make-Your-Own Pizza from my local @panago_pizza and eat it all through the weekend so I'm not spending time making meals. It's a fun little tradition that I've had for a few years and this year, since Panago got apple pie, I decided to get myself an apple pie too. Even though this tradition of mine may seem odd to some, I love it and I love myself enough to make traditions and/or have little parties for myself from time to time. O sétimo templo do Brasil, o Templo de Fortaleza Brasil, foi dedicado hoje em três sessões pelo Élder Ulisses Soares, o primeiro apóstolo sul-americano (e brasileiro) de A Igreja de Jesus Cristo dos Santos dos Últimos Dias. • FSY 2022 • For those of you who don’t know ‘For the Strength of Youth’ is a week long event for all youth between the ages of 14 - 18. Run by volunteers and members of @churchofjesuschrist. Three weeks ago I attended and served as a Health Counsellor, volunteering to help anyone who simply needed a bandage, medication or more urgent first aid. Sometimes individuals just needed a friendly face or just a friend, some needed advice or person to talk too, someone who cared. I have learned so much from the week I spent at Lancaster University, surrounded by the youth of tomorrow, working along side individuals that I have come to love dearly and that I hope will be life long friends. Their faith, beliefs and values are inspiring not only to myself but others too. I will forever keep the memories close to my heart and the people I have come to know and love, even closer. ❤️ ~ Here are just a few snap shots of that week. Life is full of challenges, but it’s still our choices that define who we are and who we’ll become.

After Lehi had died, his sons and others chose different paths.

Laman, Lemuel and the sons of Ishmael let anger rule over them. They didn’t want to follow the admonitions of the Lord.

Nephi and his wife and others fled to safety and worked to build up their families.

They built grew crops, built homes, grew and even built a temple to honor God.

Despite their extraordinary efforts to survive and thrive, they were a happy people.

Why were they so happy though?

A better question is: How did they become so happy?

Nephi summed this up in one sentence:

“And it came to pass that we lived after the manner of happiness” 2 Nephi 5:27). This manner meant living according to God.

Earlier in the chapter, Nephi said “My God hath been my support; he hath led me through mine afflictions in the wilderness…He hath filled me with his love…, he hath heard my cry by day, and he hath given me knowledge by visions in the nighttime.”

Whether at home or in the wilderness, God is my strength. He is the light of my life and the comfort of my soul.
