I do always love the makeup changes over the Candela seasons. Seeing the actual effect of the events on the characters is very cool.

For those keeping track at home, the confirm that it's been three years since the end of the war, that puts Crimson Mirror is in 1907, the standard year for the Candela setting.

We learned in episode one that the chapter is set in late autumn, nearly winter. (The season, not necessarily though probably the month, noting because months in Hale are literally called like Summer, Winter, etc. and referred to as Early, Mid, Late.)

So, in context of this series, this puts Crimson Mirror as happening slightly after Needle & Thread, which takes place in Summer 1907.
