A Piazza Navona több okból is egyik kedvencem lett. Egyrészről itt jóval kevesebb volt a turista, mint a Trevi-kútnál, vagy a Forum Romanum körül, másrészről legalább annyira beleszerettem a teret középen uraló Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, azaz a Négy folyó kútjába, mint az előbb említett testvérébe.. Bernini alkotása a négy világrész legnagyobb folyóit jelképezi: 💧Gangesz - Ázsia 💧Nílus - Afrika 💧Duna - Európa 💧Rio de la Pata - Amerika Mindegyiknél a növény- és állatmotívumok is az adott térségről árulkodnak, nekem mégis kedvenceim az istenalakok, egészen pontosan a hozzá költött mesék. Ugyanis közvetlen a szökőkút szomszédságában áll a Sant’Agnese in Agone templom, melynek homlokzatát Bernini vetélytársa, Borromini tervezett. Eine lange Nacht

Wenn der kalte Abend klopft, dann nimm deinen wärmsten Mantel. Es wird eine lange Nacht. Kein Glas Wein zum Abschied und keine letzte Zigarette. Es ist eine lange, einsame Straße, auf der alte Neuigkeiten, in verblichener Druckerschwärze, die vom jammernden Wind über den Asphalt geweht werden, deine einzigen Begleiter sind. Kein Abschied. Nur deine Füße, die dich in die unbekannte Fremde  tragen, während die Welt, nichtsahnend und unbescholten, in warmen Betten schlummert.

Las primeras imagenes son de las estatuas en tamaño real de Diego Rivera y Frida Kalho, obra de Gabriel Ponzanelli... Pero no todo es color de rosas.
