Sunday Morning Listening (SML) 131 Spyro Gyra %-City Kids Recently I got the album as a package deal. I first listened this album through YouTube and liked it. Their style is a prime example of smooth jazz, imho. Almost a mother of fusion jazz. It sounds cool. The condition of the LP was also super clean. Almost new. What a deal! 🥸 - Pascal has the most similar upbringing to mine as a bonafide citykid but I’d say Misogyny is actually the most like me. She’s boisterous, unapologetic, and I’ve poured my Mỹ lại blues into her <3 The Surgeon is another character I put a lot of myself into… he’s a reflection on my younger self and how I let my naivety turn me into a bitter and violent person for a while.

🦐 - Dude… when I decided to name one of the main characters “Chlamydia” just for a giggle…..

🫂 - I feel like I’ve talked about this before maybe! I’m a huge music nerd so it initially started with The Normal Album but I’ve let it grow pretty far beyond that. I was moved to finally start writing things out after reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley!

Karim Dulé Hill (born May 3, 1975) is an actor. He is known for his roles as a personal presidential aide and Deputy Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff Charlie Young on The West Wing, for which he received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, and pharmaceutical salesman-private detective Burton “Gus” Guster on Psych. He had minor roles in the movies Holes, The Guardian, and She’s All That and a recurring role in Ballers. He joined the regular cast of Suits for seasons 8 and 9 and plays the father in the 2021 remake of The Wonder Years. He serves as a member of the Screen Actors Guild Board of Directors.

He was born in Orange, New Jersey, and was raised in Sayreville, New Jersey. He studied ballet at a young age and appeared in the musical The Tap Dance Kid as Savion Glover’s understudy on Broadway, a part he played on the show’s national tour. He graduated from Sayreville War Memorial High School and studied business finance at Seton Hall University and acting at William Esper Studio. While at Seton Hall, he accepted a role on CityKids.

In 1985, he performed a tap dance number on the MDA telethon. When the music could not be found for his routine, telethon host Jerry Lewis helped by having the orchestra play another song while he performed. His first film role was in Sugar Hill during his senior year of high school. While at Seton Hall, he was cast in a starring role in Bring in ‘da Noise, Bring in ‘da Funk on Broadway.

He had roles in She’s All That, 10.5, Holes as Sam the Onion Man, and The Guardian. He appeared on Broadway in Stick Fly and After Midnight. As a voice actor, he was part of the cast of Night of the Animated Dead.

He married actress Nicole Lyn (2004-2012). They had no children. He married Ballers co-star Jazmyn Simon (2018) and adopted her daughter, and they have a son. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

С вещица и котка на музей

Преди няколко дни с вещицата Уини (главен персонаж в книгата "Ден на динозавъра" от изд.TIMELINES) събрахме компания (тя домашния си любимец, а аз децата и сестра ми), яхнахме метлите и посетихме Националния природонаучен музей.

Вещицата и черният ѝ котарак забъркаха голямо приключение. Уини толкова се ентусиазира да спечели един конкурс за рисунки на динозаври, който бяха организирали в музея, че реши да се върне в праисторическата ера и да види очи в очи създанията. Тя не само почерпи вдъхновение от прекия контакт с животните, но и реши да си прехвърли един трицератопс в нейното време и да го покани на чай в къщата си.

С децата и сестра ми се задържахме в двадесет и първи век. Разходката в музея беше много интересна и можеше да бъде и много по-приятна, ако не беше пришпорена от Кай. За съжаление той се превъзбуди от едни играчки, които видя в магазина за сувенири на входа и през цялото време бързаше, за да може на излизане евентуално да му се купи нещо. Укроти се и спря да разгледа подробно единствено витрините със стотици насекоми.

Националният природонаучен музей е чудесна опция за занимания в дъждовните или твърде горещите за външни разходки дни. Има много какво да се види и научи. Предлагат се и беседи с експерти (по предварителна заявка), които ми се струват страхотна опция за достатъчно любопитните и търпеливи деца.

Книгата "Ден на динозавъра" е част от поредицата за Уини и Уилбър от Валъри Томас и Корки Пол. Надявам се издателство TIMELINES скоро да ни изненада с още от приключенията на вещицата с румен нос и шантавата ѝ котка, защото са жестоки! <3
