#listen i am so so so so so so so so tired 💀#my landlord's coming for a visit at 11 tomorrow and i have nothing to offer him #but i'm too tired to think about what to buy for the weekend (for myself)#grocery shopping was a burden as it was but then they shut down my nearest store (200 m from my apartment)#and now the nearest one is just far enough so that i don't wanna go there just for a pack of coffee and biscuits #i'm so tired i just had to check how to fucking spell 'biscuits' 😭😭😭😭😭😭#feeling slightly better now that i rested my eyes a little and drank a glass of water and ate a clementine #but i don't wanna goooooooo it's cold and dark and i don't know what i want to eat during the weekend 😭😭😭😭😭#it's times like these i hate living alone / being single because i can't just ask someone to go to the grocery store for me #i should also clean up my kitchen and bathroom a bit #i know i'm so brave for doing shit like this all by myself but sometimes i really hope i wouldn't have to #sorry for whining about my little life on main lol pls ignore #i need no advice (but sympathy would be nice. an encouraging headpat even)

Had to pay $400 yesterday for TWO regular doctor’s visits with my PCP that took me maybe 15 minutes at best… Yes, I have shit insurance. Yes, I live in the United States.

#personal #Me at the beginning of the year: ‘I have to put myself and my health first!’#Me now: I’m gonna go flat broke aren’t I?#Also my PCP is in-network with my insurance…#When I called my insurance they basically said I have to hit my deductible first.#Brother I am not gonna hit a $3000 deductible in a year…#So I basically have to rely on E-visits until open enrollment for another insurance in November.#I was supposed to go for blood work yesterday and then an in person physical this coming Wednesday? Had to cancel both.#Like I cannot afford to be forking over all this money like this…#But I do have to fork over another $200 when I go for my deep cleaning at the dentist next month… 🤪

This is an post that might change your opinion of me but idgaf coz i thought it was funny that this thing happened in this 'fit (which is not so much a 'fit as clothes I put on this morning)

the thing that got "omg WHERE is that from?"'ed the most today was the jumper.

To understand why this is funny we need to do a steal her look meme but I can't be bothered finding pictures and paint 3d'ing them into a flat lay so

Limited edition jumper (1/12) received upon graduating a Masters of Science Communication: $7266

I had to tell 3 seperate people they couldn't buy this jumper because my classmates drew the faces and my coordinator got it printed on jumpers for us.

#once again photo review of last month!!#found a picture frame and decided that my cat would look absolutely gorgeous in it. and i was right!#then a obligatory sunset pic on the way home from work i can't believe that it's finally getting brighter #went to munich to meet with friends and go to the ancient collection museum (roman/etruskan vases art sculptures and jewellery)#and ofc the gold necklaces and diadem!! i made 200 pics and ¾ are of jewellery lol #Beautiful!! the sculptures of the little dogs and the very well preserved terracotta figurine #and the last pic shows the “it's wednesday my dudes” in the german version “es ist mittwoch meine kerle”#that was drawn by my dear friend 2 years ago and that i now found cleaning my room haha #anyway this last month was fun can't wait for what will happen in march!#meins

a) I made a to do list I just did like half of

b) I opened my letters I’ve been collecting since November - Idk why I do this, but it keeps repeating

c) I had leftover money… until I paid my bills

#I did all of my to do list actually except study for my exam on diabetes on I think Thursday so it’s not that bad #and I have until Thursday (I will put this off another few days)#on the letters Idk bills and documents are my least favorite part of being an adult I think #like it’s satisfying when I’m through with them but then there are already new ones and that’s just discouraging #I’m working on reducing my cleaning and document stuff to a minimum it’s going ok so far #this year I have to do Steuererklärung bc I own my apartment now and I seriously don’t know how????#yeah I know rich people problems but honestly I used to live month to month I will until my apprenticeship is finished #but I have to do Steuererklärung bc I ‘own property’ = my apartment I live in lol that doesn’t mean I have more money #(ok it means I have to care less bc I have like 200€ less to pay for living but I still get my apprenticeship wage and that’s all I have)

i said smth as simple as "i h8 the health system everything costs so much n is upcharged when it shouldn't b" n got yelled at 4 like 15 minutes 4 some reason like jesus fucking christ sry 4 wishing things in life were a lil better 4 ppl (us included).

#i so much as SPEAK n get yelled at i should jus start biting my dad #anyway. had 2 pay 206 dollars 4 a doctor 2 look at my ear 4 less than 60 secs n go oh u hav a cut go get antibiotics then come back later n #pay another like 100-200 4 the actual procedure bc if we do it now u'll bleed. honestly my ear is p much fine now but my parents still #insist on getting it cleaned which is bullshit. I don't wanna pay over a hundred bucks 4 smth thts now unneeded fuck tht ugh #AND i hav 2 wake up early 2 walk b4 the appt 2mrw so it's a fucking double loss bc i havv2 wake up mega early on friday -_-#delete later

I feel like im going insane here like im looking at average costs for dental procedures. Using out of pocket prices and doing the math based on what percentage my insurance covers of that procedure using that higher average cost and including if i had to meet my deductible every single time i got anything im still getting dramatically lower prices like i have no idea where tf the prices on my treatment plan are coming from

#also like i feel like i understand the insurance but like i called a dentist earlier and she made me feel like im not?#like i know how much they cover what deductible i need to meet #and my insurance provides lists of codes what percentage they cover it at and stipulations of it #and it covers everything aside from orthodontic work at 80-85%#and she was like well it says they only do half i have the same insurance and it only covers half #i have never in my life heard of an insurance that covers 80% of anything beside a cleaning #and its like???? im looking at the policy now it says its covered at 80% with no pre approval #and the limit is once per tooth per every 5 years #and using the cost estimator that shows typical estimated fees the network savings what they pay and what i would end up paying #its still like 200 rounded up for something theyre saying is nearly 400 with my insurance #like hello??#am i actually stupid or is this dentist just expensive as fuck?#or bigger question are they pulling my inaurance up right? cause i went to them and it took 5 fucking attempts to get my insurance in there #i gave them every single piece of info they needed and was told great perfect!#and a day later someone would call and say i have literally nothing for you insurance wise #and the second one i talked too was like nope ur not on nope ur not covered here nope i cant find you nope i cant even look you up #your unfindable sorry sucks to suck #and they put a date in wrong and she was liie omg oops!#anyways all it covers is 50% ive never heard of insurance covering that much and some other issue that made me unbookable for some reason?#at this point it seems easier to go up see my dad and go to his dentist that hes had literally zero issues with
