Why else did the fandom come up with the all member names theory? Because JM was so IN THEIR FACE that there had to be an explanation for it, right? If the J wasn't there, who would go ahead and think RM and MY and inverted V and clubbing the J for all J initial members.

This right here? This changed my whole thought on that tattoo. I remember being a baby army (...2 years ago lol), and reading the theories regarding the meaning = Army + BTS. But I kinda thought of it as a very stupid concept because if there truly were supposed to be representatives of the members, why have Hobi, Jin AND Jungkook be all put into a singular J? Especially because everyone else is (inadvertently) included by something unique. And Hobi and Jin mean so much to JK that it would be kinda insulting of him to be like "So here's a tattoo but these two hyungs get just a J cause...? Plot I guess?"

So, being rational, one would accept JK's own explanation, and I think it's both very cute but also - as both you and another anon pointed out - a bit odd. Why a single J? If it represents him, why not use JK or something more distinctive? If it bothered him this much that it wasn't symmetrical, why not use another symbol to mirror the crown?

You don't have to be a shipper to think that. Even if it wasn't placed over the M, it would be weird. I don't want to question young Jungkook too harshly - people get odd tattoos all the time - but it's still really funny how the fandom NEEDED it to be an OT7 tattoo because otherwise it just HAD to be confirmation of a ship. Like, there's no middle ground?

It's like all the times that Tkkers have to completely deny the friendship and love between Jikook to make their ship even exist at all. The gaslighting tkkers (and yoonminers) put army through is kind of insane. Not even just from a Jikooker perspective, but in general. There's so much "lore" that gets passed around but never questioned because no one takes the time to watch most of the OG content anymore, instead relying on twitter, tiktok and insta. Wishlist for PJM1

I don't know about about you, but my feeling listening to VIBE is that Jimin, and we as a people, can only go up from here. So I decided to list everything I'd love to happen in PJM1 - from the music, to the potential features/collaborators, to the styling.

The Styling

(I never moved on from this)

For PJM1, I've always hoped Jimin would channel Victor Nikiforov. For my readers who don't watch anime, please bear with me here. I'll explain.

Platinum grey or silver, waist-long hair. Solid neutral colours on form-fitting pants or anything that highlights Jimin's beautiful dance lines. Victor is a character from the anime Yuri on Ice (highly recommended). He's a world class figure skater, a good-natured and kind person who mentors the main character. And this man is all lean muscle, executing calculated and refined movements while he glides over ice, even when he performs intense and sometimes aggressive routines. He's beautiful and I can't not see Jimin in him.

With this sort of styling on Jimin, I can easily see him switching between elfin elegance and an almost cruel and quiet intensity, or even having both energies co-exist mid-performance. Like an assassin.

I know Jimin is blonde right now, likely already filming for PJM1, but what I would give to see Jimin in this styling. His hair being almost waist-long is a firm requirement in my wishlist.

The Music

Who should I kill, fuck, or marry to have Jimin on a rock song? What will it take? Because I need the universe to gift us with the one track that will reset all life as we know it - Jimin utilizing his low and upper registers on a rock song. No other genre has the range and versatility to embody anger, joy, sensuality, pain, grief, humour, like rock music. Another wild card I've dreamed of for Jimin, is for him to include a song in the Afrobeats genre (and to collaborate with an actual African artist, not just lift their sound verbatim *cough* B.I.).

Jimin on a song like Vibration by Fireboy DML will solve the birth rate crisis in several countries. It would be club banger of the century.

(Add in a reverse modulation for Jimin to come in with his lower register, a bridge, and an Adonis or two *%#@*! in the MV and it's a wrap)

Looking at the roster of producers Jimin is working with, PJM1 will likely lean more pop and R&B, but at least one song with symphonic metal, folk rock, alternative or psychedelic rock, would suit him perfectly and elevate his album over the current milieu of k-pop.

And this is probably an unpopular opinion, but I love rapper Jimin.

He'll need to work on his breath control, but he's got everything else. If Jimin has even just one song where he simply speaks over a beat, anyway he does it, I might lose it.

The Features / Collaborators

Anyone who has followed me for more than a few months has likely seen me gush about:

Taka from ONE OK ROCK,

Tyler from Twenty One Pilots,

Mitch from Pentatonix, and

Asa - a queen and in very loose sense, the French-Nigerian analog to Erykah Badu.

I don't know how to explain it, all I can say is I can hear their voices together in my head and it sounds like paradise. If Jimin has any of those four on PJM1, I'll ask for nothing else.

Fireboy DML whose song I linked above isn't my favourite collaborator to work with Jimin in terms of vocal contrasts, but I do like the music he makes and think Jimin would body any of his songs.

The next best thing, is of course either Yoongi or Jungkook collaborating with him on a track. As this is his first solo album, I wonder if he'll go the route of the rapline so far, in seeking out only voices outside BTS, or if he'll include any of the members on his first album. If he does, Yoonkook has to be the obvious choice because if Who was incredible and Tony Montana made me look twice at Jimin, having either or both members on a song with him is sure to create magic.

Take Me Out (yoonmin au fanfic)

I originally posted this as a twitter thread but decided to upload it here too. It was inspired by these pics of Like Crazy Jimin and Haegeum Yoongi. Enjoy!

They meet in the alley outside the club.

Their gazes lock onto each other from the moment Jimin steps out of the building and they never break eye contact as the other man sidles up to him, cornering him against the wall where the lights don't reach.

The door closes behind them, shutting the loud music and the noise of the crowd inside the club.

It's only them in the dark, quiet night.

Jimin leans back on the wall, hands sliding into his pockets.

"Hey, pretty," he hums, lips curling up lazily. A charming half-grin appears on the other man's face. "What brings you here tonight?"

"Besides wanting to see you?," Jimin rolls his eyes which makes the other chuckle. Then his features turn a shade more serious. "I have news."

The man glances around, then steps closer, even though there's no one else to listen to them. The front of his shoe grazes Jimin's boots and his breath is ticklish on Jimin's ears as he whispers;

"It's done."

Jimin tenses slightly. The other continues.

"I got rid of the evidence, my men are arranging the rest of it," he leans back just enough to catch Jimin's gaze. "He won't be a bother ever again."

A weight lifts off Jimin's shoulders but he doesn't show it.

"Good," he nods. "Nice work, Agust."

Agust D, aka one of the country's most wanted criminals, smiles at that.

Then he pulls something out of his pocket and presents it to Jimin.

A pair of red chopsticks.

The ones Jimin gave him earlier today.

"I washed them and everything, don't worry. No blood in sight," Agust says half-jokingly.

Jimin grins, a little devilish.

"Told you we make a good team," he reaches for the chopsticks, but Agust yanks them back the last second.

Jimin raises an eyebrow.

"What now?"

"You promised me something, Park," Agust's eyes are piercing as he leans in again, head tilted to the side. Dark strands of hair fall around his face with the movement and Jimin has the urge to rake his fingers through them.

He crosses his arms before his chest instead.

"What exactly?"

Agust's gaze falls to his lips for a second, before looking back up.

"A date."

"Did I, now?," Jimin muses, hand reaching out to toy with the beads on Agust's necklace.

Agust tenses, but then his muscles relax and he lets out a laugh, catching Jimin's hand in his. He tangles their fingers together and Jimin ignores the little jump in his chest.

"Yes, you said you'll go out with me once I did away with your disgusting shit of a boss," Agust reminds him. "I did my part of the deal. Now it's your turn, sweetheart."

Jimin hums, pretending to contemplate.

Agust's thumb is stroking the back of his hand in a very distracting manner.

"Wasn't my part of the deal helping you locate your arch nemesis? The hot cop guy?," Jimin says. "I already did that, he was such a cutie when we talked."

It's always fun to push Agust's buttons, especially when it comes to the police officer that looks eerily similar to him.

But, surprisingly, not even the mention of his doppleganger hardens Agust's stare. He's looking at Jimin with a gaze that has him weak in the knees, and it's making it very difficult to stay smooth and collected under it.

He's so close, too. Jimin can feel his cologne and the heat of his body, can see the way his lips twitch, mischievous.

"You're trying to change the topic. Are you backing down, Park?," he whispers. It sends a shiver down Jimin's spine, raising the hair on his nape.

"Are you really this desperate for a date with me?," he counters immediately, like he always does.

They're at a stalemate again, staring each other down like two predators.

It's a game they always play, one they both love and are aggravated by.

Jimin is about to continue, maybe go into detail about the cop just to annoy Agust even more.

But then, Agust laughs.

It's a deep rumble that has his eyes turn into crescent moons and nose scrunch up sweetly, if a little in embarrassement.

He squeezes Jimin's hand.

"Seems like I am, yeah," he says quietly, but his voice doesn't waver for even a second.

Jimin's lips part. He tries to mask his surprise, not very successfully.

He stares at the other man for a second.

He's expecting the usual teasing edge, but there's only honesty in Agust's pretty features.

Honesty, and a sliver of hope, maybe.

Jimin swallows. Glances at their intertwined fingers and looks back up at Agust D.

"Okay."

The man's eyebrows rise.

"Okay?"

"I'll go on a date with you," Jimin clarifies, but then flutters his lashes in fake innocence. "Only because you're so pitiful, begging for it at my feet!"

Agust shakes his head in irritation but it turns fond at the end, as he takes a small step back to pull out his phone. He types on it, so Jimin has the time for a quick, wide grin to himself.

It's gone by the time Agust looks up from his phone.

"Meet me here tomorrow. I texted you the details," Agust says and Jimin nods solemnly.

"Okay, pretty boy. I'm expecting to be wooed," he warns, and the other man's lips curl into a smirk as he straightens his back confidently.

"You will be."

He's about to turn away, but then he pauses and glances over his shoulder at Jimin.

"Oh and Jiminie..."

Jimin raises an eyebrow curiously.

Agust smiles at him, gums showing, making Jimin's breath catch in his throat.

"Call me Yoongi."

Jimin blinks in astonishment.

But then he exhales and lets the giggle he's been trying to keep in finally escape, his eyes crinkling, cheeks rising, happiness tickling his heart as he gazes at the man across him.

Yoongi seems a little winded by the sight in front of him, cheeks tainted pink, so Jimin adds a wink to fully knock him off his axis.

He might be getting softer for the man, but not /that/ soft. He won't go easy on him.

He grins.

"See you tomorrow, Yoongi."

And it's a promise.

And so they go on many dates, fall in love, k word some bad people and look good doing it, etc, good for them :)

As it always happens in this latitude, the sky at some minutes past seven was still quite light.

White nights were beautiful, thick summer air filled with scents of trees, smartly planted all over the city. The hot stuffy day under the rays of blazing sun was over, and now it was a pleasantly humid evening.

Jimin was walking on the riverbank, an attraction for tourists, languidly strolling families and street vendors all year round. He had an important appointment tonight, undoubtedly a new client who knows what he wants.

The time his personal assistant requested was nine in the evening, which wasn't all that unusual. Many businessmen or famous people within different industries just didn't have any other time to spare or it seemed to them things are more discreet with the fall of the night. There was a picture gallery he passed and then the poster of a current exhibition caught his attention.

Marine artists.

The person he was meeting with was kind of a big fish so it was very fitting to visit the exhibition and calm his nerves. He loved the city for such places - the galleries, the museums, the historical places and temples.

You could spend a lifetime visiting sites and still not go over all of them. Jimin was a successful lawyer and although it wasn't a grand secret of any sort, the fact that he was a director of his own firm was not in the plain view. And despite many responsibilities and little free time he always made sure to have that time for thought, for inspiration, for enriching his imagination and knowledge by watching the plays and going to concerts. Jimin walked out of the art gallery pleased and much calmer.

The time of meeting with his new client was nearing so he headed into the direction of the restaurant.

It was a classy place next to the famous home club complex. It was impossible to obtain property there - it was mostly inherited. Jimin hasn't been there even once.

He entered the restaurant and was greeted politely.

- I'm meeting Min Yoongi-ssi here, - Jimin said and handed out his ID, - Park Jimin. The lawyer was familiar with showing his documents. His clients paid great attention to safety.

At least there was no metal detector here, but walking past the tables into the direction of private rooms he noticed some security spread around the space. Maybe that Min man was an even bigger fish than Jimin assumed in the first place. The private room was just as classy as the main dining area.

There was a man next to the table who he assumed was Min Yoongi-ssi himself. They bowed and said their greetings. - I hope you don't mind if we have something first? The matter I wanted to discuss is not very complex but it's a lengthy one.

His voice was deep and calm. Jimin felt more at ease, since this meeting already started not as formal as he expected. - That's a good idea, Yoongi-ssi. Anything you can recommend?

The atmosphere was peaceful.

Yoongi was holding a light conversation on socially appropriate topics which Jimin supported with ease. Assuming the business he wanted to discuss has something to do with his company or property, the lawyer asked general questions.

Jimin tensed when he heard the name of the company Yoongi was a head of. So this elegantly dressed gentleman in his fourties with the voice deep as an ocean and delicate hand movements was notorious Mr Min.

- Should I start calling you Mr Min then? - Jimin asked with a hint of humor. Yoongi, not having expected such a shift in their calm atmosphere, smiled widely for the first time that evening.

It didn't go unnoticed the young lawyer connected the dots and now probably felt uncomfortable sharing a meal and a cup of tea with a big mafia figure. - You can, of course, Jimin-ssi, - he said, a tad amused.

The conversation ran smoothly from then on. Yoongi needed a lawyer who could deal and help his employees in their personal matters. He had some lawyers hired for the business and now that it's as prosperous as ever he would like to help people who have been working for him for a long time.

Jimin was pleasantly surprised.

Not every boss would bother with such matters. Maybe it's because of the dangerous lifestyle, it brings people closer together?

Who knows. They agreed to go over minor details the next day and sign the contract then.

Mr Min carried on telling about his employees and what possible cases Jimin might have to start on right away.

There will certainly be a lot of work. - Did you walk here? - Min asked when they slowly walked out of the restaurant.

- I did, - Jimin hummed, - It was a pleasant evening. Too nice for a car. I live and work close by, on the other side of the river.

- Would you like a lift to wherever you're heading? Jimin didn't hesitate.

They both sat in the back seat, the lawyer voicing the directions to the townhouse complex he lived in.

The car ride was smooth and quiet.

He didn't feel threatened, Mr Min seemed to have this calming aura around him, making him feel safe. They parted on a light note and the next day just as amicably were going over contract details, with Yoongi himself correcting needed paragraphs on his laptop, glasses on his nose, fingers rubbing his chin. He looked really handsome, Jimin thought. With his dark long hair, slightly waving at ends, styled fringe and a habit of sucking air through his teeth. They eventually agreed on signing one contract with Jimin as personal lawyer for him and a contract between Jimin's firm - Yoongi only raised an eyebrow when he found out about that - for any aid regarding Yoongi's employees. It was unusual and they spent quite a bit of time perfecting and straightening every page to a fault. Mr Min didn't question the way Jimin dealt with things. Jimin himself wasn't sure why he treated Mr Min's case so thoroughly. Something in him was leaning towards this serious man.

Something told him, a naturally intuitive person, it will be good for the future if he puts all his effort in this. After a month of working together things were going great.

Jimin was going through case after case, ensuring Mr Min's employees were safe and the justice was served. He obtained a little hobby of sorts.

He began to gather personal notes on ways to legalize some parts of Yoongi's shady business.

Not that it was a plan, no.

Jimin's thesis was exactly on this topic. Mr Min was an interesting person and ran a no less interesting conglomerate.

So the young lawyer did some creative exercises in his free time to keep himself in good shape for the actual things he had to deal with. Another month later though, it wasn't just exercising.

Yoongi was truly a good person, that chose to do what he does, obviously, but also turned out to be a product of the generation, of the crisis the country was in in his younger years and shaped by his parents. He would make a splendid bachelor, of not for his dangerous line of work, Jimin thought. So he kept his side project on his desk until one evening he entered his office and saw mafia boss Min Yoongi holding the said project in his hands, eyebrows raised and a pout on his face. He noticed when the lawyer came in, immediately lifting his piercing gaze at him.

Jimin felt his palms starting to sweat and heart beating fast with fear.

He tried to compose himself and confidently walked until he was an arm's length from the leader. Jimin-ssi, - he started dangerously calm, closing the folder and leaving ot carefully on the table. - Mind telling me about this?

Jimin gulped. There was really no other way around it.

So he decided to come clean.

Well, except the bachelor part. - Huh, - Yoongi was really hard to read with his stoic face and calculated gestures, - And do you think it will be more beneficial?

- For what exactly? - did he guess Jimin's line of thinking or

- For the company. For the people in it. There are jobs that have been passed from older to younger generations. Of course I would like to make life better for them.

- Even if it means abiding to laws? Yoongi sighed.

He rubbed his hands and then used one to gently rub the younger’s forearm.

After working with him for a while Jimin knew, it's a sign that Mr Min was nervous, he became really touchy, especially with him. - It's a vicious cycle, Jimin-ssi. Once you're in, it isn't easy to back out. Especially if you're responsible for not just yourself but have others depending on you. - It was all hypothetic, what I've written there, Yoongi-ssi, - Jimin was a little upset he didn't have immediate solutions, - There is a lot we can possibly do though.

- Do you mind trying, Jimin - can I call you Jimin?

- Yes-

- Hyung.

- Yes, hyung, - Was a quick reply. Mr Min stood up after rubbing his knees like some old man and the lawyer almost giggled.

- I'll leave you to it. Would you like to tell me more about it? - he pouted slightly again, it was obvious he was truly curious, - Preferably tonight? Jimin nodded and wanted to step back so the elder could go past him freely but the other was faster, moving past him, shoulders brushing.

He briefly stretched his hand and reassuringly squeezed Jimin's waist. - Just come to my office when you finish for today, alright?

- Alright, hyung.

Before he left, Jimin noticed a funny looking smile on his face. He lost five years with it, looking so youthful and adorable. Something inside Jimin wanted to be the reason for that smile as often as possible. When Jimin looked at the windows in the office Mr Min declared his, it was a white night again.

He walked up to them and saw the lights and roads and trees from one of the tallest office buildings in the city.

He wondered if Yoongi liked doing the same. It kind of gave the feeling the whole world was at his feet.

He knocked on the door to the leaders office and was net with a sight of Mr Min sitting at the table, paperwork scattered around, reading glasses hanging low on his nose.

He looked like he was just sitting there catching a break. At the sound he lifted his head and Jimin was blessed with a sweet smile.

- Are you done? Shall we?

They walked to the lifts, Yoongi's big hand resting on the young man's lower back. The dinner at a fine restaurant proved Mr Min was a gentleman.

When he asked Jimin where he'd like to eat and discuss the new project the younger chose a middle class place, still with private booths but far from Michelin star places Yoongi usually went to. The elder was attentive, a great listener.

When they went over everything they needed, his hyung excitedly talked about next season's shedule in the opera and ballet theatre. When they wrote their notes down and corrected documents right there on the table Yoongi would lean in close and whisper in Jimin's ear, chucking when he would notice him squirm and shudder. Jimin was having a great time.

Apart from excitement from a new beginning at work, he was just happy to talk and let go of the worries for a little while.

One day Jimin found a beautiful envelope on his desk.

He opened it tentatively, wondering what could be inside.

Inside there were tickets for a play he has been eyeing for a long time. For a brief moment he wondered where they came from and then it dawned on him - they were from Yoongi.

He scratched his head in thought.

Maybe it was some company anniversary that he didn't know about or maybe a public holiday? Then came a message from Mr Min:

- Have you found them?

Turns out the tickets were just for them two.

They decided to walk to the theater, omitting the car and security in tow as usual. - I thought it would be nice to repay you on top of the contract we have for all the hard work you have done, - Yoongi said while looking at historical buildings they passed on their way, +

- Seems like all my employees' issues have been sorted well, my issues have been sorted well and now that we are working in this new direction it's been taking a lot of your time. So this can be a nice change of scenery. Jimin was in awe.

It was really thoughtful of him. He absolutely loved that they shared this passion.

- Do you enjoy going to this drama theater? - he asked hyung.

- I've been there many times but this play will be the first for me in this season. They walked into the marble foyer and passed on their coats.

The seats were great, he could see everything perfectly. They enjoyed this classic drama a lot.

Yoonmin are schoolmates but divided into rival clubs.

Yoonmin being in each of the two most competitive clubs that are always in feud in most school competitions.

Yoongi and Jimin are schoolmates. They are both in the same department but in different majors as well as clubs. Yoongi is part of the music club. He has a sub-rap group of his own with other members of the club, and they usually join talent competitions held by the school. Jimin is part of the dance club. He and most of his club members usually join school talent competitions as a dance crew.

Both clubs are very popular in school and all their competitions are highly anticipated by fans and schoolmates. No one knows how their rivalries started, just that new students coming in were introduced to the culture and so have been passed on to the next generations of students.

The music club mostly consists of hip-hop and rock musicians. The dance club consists mostly of reserved and refined contemporary dancers. Although there haven't been any actual harmful fights, both clubs are very well known for bickering and mocking each other's members.

Amidst the clubs' rivalry, however, two members don't seem to care to actively participate in the ongoing feud. Yoongi just always seems bored when he and his friends run into dance club members. Thankfully no one got hurt, and only an old curtain and electrical cord were damaged.

Amid the panic, students flocked out of the theater in a hurry, forgetting to check on everyone if they all got out. And so another ruckus ensues when the dance club members can't find Jimin. Setting aside rivalries, even the music club rushed into looking for Jimin.

One particular student however seemed the most agitated to find Jimin. Yoongi looked panicked as he quickly rushed back to the theater to search for Jimin. Other members can't help but exchange glances at Yoongi's actions, which seem to come out of nowhere. Some of Yoongi's friends, along with some of Jimin's, ran after Yoongi inside the theater. Even in his panicked state, Yoongi took out his phone and started calling someone, his hand constantly raking through his hair as he wait for his phone to ring.

To everyone's surprise, a ringtone blared from the far corner of the theater and Yoongi immediately ran towards the sound. There in the small space behind the chairs, a crying Jimin was crouched and shaking, his face hidden between his chest and knees. Yoongi ended the call and immediately swoops down to embrace Jimin, with a sigh of relief and shaky breath he said: "Oh thank god, baby, we found you. Are you hurt? Do you want me to get you the nurse? I'll call you an ambulance."

Everyone was so shocked by the turn of events. But right now, they're all just glad that no one got hurt, and somehow the clubs' rivalry is set-aside.
