Honestly there are not many two seater mechs. It also makes sense given a character like Lelouch is not great of a pilot. So having a buddy system makes sense.

Quite literally a Cock Pit.

I know it's an out there design but I rather like it. Adds to the sleek look of their mechs, giving them more of a jet feel. Also I kind of relate to it. Mech with Gockpit when?
