And when it was all said and done, he decided after experiencing more that at Surge's side is where he wanted to be.

As of the recent IDW issues, Kit isn't sticking with Surge "because of programming" and "because he just needs for other characters to friend him and turn him into a better person". He is at her side because he wants to be. He protects her and aids her because he cares about her, not just because he's serving the strongest guy in the room. And he's not interacting with others because he's decided not to give a shit about anyone else other than Surge (because from his pov, even the "good guys" are fake. From his pov, everyone is someone trying to lie and manipulate their way into pulling him and Surge to their side)

Kit already has decided what he wants to do with his life. And he decided it on his own. Not because of anyone else's wants or wishes. That's the whole point of his speech at the end of #56.

He's burying whatever his and Surge's past is and moving forward with his conviction to be with Surge because it's what he wants.

I just learned that the reason my cousin's wedding has a cocktail dress code. Said dress code has caused several relatives to cancel, much to my cousin's distress, but she's lost her say since her future in-laws decided to fund it all. It also has the rest of the family, who are perfectly capable of dressing "nice enough for a wedding", in an absolute tizzy over wtf was not good enough about their usual approach.

It's jeans.

Future MIL literally could not live with the idea that someone she never met before, never will meet again, might never speak to, and probably won't be close enough to be in any pictures with the child she paid several nannies to raise, might be in the background of a photo wearing a pair of jeans. Even if they were nice, clean, new jeans. She made several people cry, including her future daughter in law, because she thought that she might have to see jeans at a 150+ guest wedding on... At most four people. 3 of those cancelled at the sight of a dress code and now think they weren't wanted by the couple to begin with.

Cousin's future FIL made it happen that I could get back on the medication to manage my DPMS/PCOS/endo, and that is currently the only thing stopping me from making myself an all denim cocktail dress with contrasting gold top stitching, distressed fray hems, every patch on the skirt I can get my grubby hands on, a button down front with jeans closures for buttons and then attending in orange crocs.

I use ibis paint on my phone so it doesn't have a lot of stuff other programs have :/ does this mean I won't be able to participate, orr...

We strive to keep a consistent image quality throughout the zine, so we would prefer to keep it at 300 dpi.

Fortunately, ibisPaint should be able to adjust dpi with the options under "For Printing" when you start a new canvas. The very last option allows for a custom image size and resolution. You can learn how in detail here.

i won't put it in my request guidelines because i am in no way opposed to writing potsie readers! so feel free to send any when requests are open, but i will say there's a high chance i might not write it. firstly because, in general, i rarely write drabble-esque fics that focus on specific episodes without going into a wider storyline - it's just not usually my style?

secondly because i don't think i could capture a very neutral or general experience with pots:,) it would be very affected by my own experiences, which are not too applicable to most. it feels like i've been fainting since the dawn of time, so it doesn't really scare or impact me anymore in the way it might for others, esp if you've just started dealing with it. i'm at the point where i try to alert people before i go ragdoll, my friends all know how to catch me (usually as they sing timber by kesha or a powering down sound lmao), i giggle as i wake, etc etc. so unless that is the experience you wish to read about, you probably would be better off asking hurt/comfort specialists like mae!

Realise that it doesn't make sense, but that's okay because an outline is just a guideline anyway.

Start writing, and notice that as you write you are changing things from your outline to better tell the story you wanted to tell.

Be shocked that you can adjust your outline as you write, to accomodate the additional storytelling you've discovered as you go, and that an outline is just a set of railroad tracks to take you in the right direction, meanwhile, the story is the train.
