“EBSCO has created a smart, reliable database of Ebooksorganized in collections such as Medical, Academic, Government and many other. This makes the search for the right Ebook much easier and faster. In addition to theEbooks each collection contains also a vast list of audio-books. I think this database can be very useful for students who want to expand on subjects they are working on.”

“Out of an intense form of curiosity, I decided to search this database for popular culture books to see what came up. I ended up with a series of academic commentary on dystopian young adult novels as opposed to the actual novels themselves. My point is that EBSCO eBooks may not have fiction novels, but their academic writing is interesting to read as well.”

“I often get a lot of questions from patrons on EBSCO eBooksand I think I have good enough knowledge on it to explain to everybody on what it's about. eBooks is a online library provided by our library, this website allows students to view articles and save them as a PDF for their research papers or those who want more information on the subject. You can narrow your search by putting in different date from a certain time, language, subject etc. You can click on advanced search and have a very specific search on the exact author and search modes.“

“EBSCO Ebooks is a database for general journals and articles. I tried using it for my geology paper, and there is an advanced search called "The SmartText searching" where you can type the keywords for your topic. Also, you can limit your search to the publication date, to only get articles in a range of time. I think this is a great tool for students in generals. They can type the words for their topics and just get specific articles related to their topic.”

“As I was trying to go through EBSCO Ebooks ,I found that it can be accessed on mobile app. It has an app. It can be accessed on both android and apple device.EBSCO eBooks can be downloaded to your mobile device and read with the free Bluefire Reader app.Following is needed for the app:Bluefire Reader App (Installed on your Apple, Android or Kindle Fire device)An Adobe IDSafari Web Browser (Apple device users)This is great for students or any one interested in reading stuff online or downloading.“

“ I know, and you all know that Ebook Central has a much better web and graphic designer than EBSCO Ebook. Although, I have to admit that the content on EBSCO is really good, and it is great that we have both databases to increase the variety of material that we have available. I was testing some features from the EBSCO Ebook and I never realized that we can have our own folder to save the material that we found and are reading, like David also noted. Other thing that I did was connect my Google drive account to the EBSCO account and it allows me to save parts of the book on my Drive, it is easier to read the material from the database because I don't have to login into the school account to read it.”

“the ebook collection by EBSCO doesn't have fiction works, at least not that I could find, but it provides really good analysis on other works. I found a cool series that talks about watchmen, wonder woman, and daredevil and the social issues that they represent.We can't print or download full ebooks, but we can add them to folder and that makes it easy to access them whenever we go back into Ebsco Ebooks. This will help any student trying to learn something new about any student.“

“ EBSCO eBooks: They are online versions of print books that the LDSBC Library has purchased. eBooks available via subscription are renewed annually for the library to retain access, if the library has bought them they will be available to the library in perpetuity, with provisions being made for long term access and preservation.                                  EBSCO eBooks are available from all major academic publishers in virtually all academic disciplines. Some of the reasons students may search and use EBSCO eBooks are: download titles to mobile devices, including iPhones, iPads, Kindle Fires, and Android Devicess, search within a book for specific words or phrases, save notes to a personal folder with anEBSCOhost account and navigate between sections or chapters and the index via linking. “

“ One of the other nice things about EBSCO Ebooks is the drop down "Table of Contents" and "Most Relevant Pages from this eBook" which are found at the bottom of the item record, with little blue squares with white crosses.   Without having to open the link, a viewer can see the Table of Contents of the book.  Based on the search terms used in the search will bring up the pages that are related to the search.  This is a quicker way to tell if a book has potential in your resource without having to go forward and then back again to continue on in the search. “

After that choose your library from the list of available libraries displayed. Enter your EBSCO login values (user ID and password, patron ID, etc.) and tap Log in.”
