she had felt a collision with him and known that she had wanted this her whole life: to crash for just one moment into another person at such a velocity as to fuse with him.
Sometimes I forget that the super-ultra cool version of s collide that happened in my head isnt canon and never happened for anyone else to see and I need to grab my seat to calm myself down afterwards
Toying around with Artbreeder this morning and I decided to picture Teddy and Hope Lupin, the kids of Remus and Tonks in my fics Collide and Cariad. I'm still trying to figure out how to use all the color/saturation options, but so far I'm moderately pleased with the efforts. Below I've got Teddy, around age 11, and Hope, around age 8. I'm not as happy with Teddy - getting a kid with blue hair is hard AF but I'll keep working on it.
I thought I'd add a few notes about the characters themselves, as right now in Cariad they're growing up and becoming distinctive people.
I use personality types to form a 'baseline' personality. I type Remus as an INFJ (Myers Briggs) and Tonks as an ENFP. I mixed these types to get their kids' types in my head. For Enneagram types, I have Remus usually as a 9, with Tonks as a 7.
Teddy is an INFP, while Hope is an ENFJ. The links there are for adult types, but here are links to read the child versions of the INFP and the ENFJ. Enneagram-wise, I have Teddy firmly as a 6 with Hope as a 1.
Anyway, some other day I'll share more of the things that went into the creation and development of Teddy and Hope, who are more or less OCs. Thankfully we get a shred of Teddy in canon, but Hope and the other Lupin kids I had to build from the ground up.
(Though you're most welcome to ask about the characters and how I developed their personalities! My ask box is perpetually open.)
