back when phantoms were new, my first instinct was to immediately throw workaholic Cameron(another character of celestial-harp’s) under the bus.

This is about Hog Hunt but holy shit every time I see SAD-ist post I'm just,,, awestruck by how fucking good they are, and Hog Hunt? By far the best animation they've done yet.

YES. watching SADist’s art and animation skills progress over the course of animatics/animations is so amazing and inspiring. especially in the last two, the detailing is so insanely good despite being such a seemingly simplistic style !! every time i go back and watch i find some NEW detail or subtle reference or parallel that i completely missed every time before that, it genuinely blows me away how well done these animations are, every one somehow even better than the last

OKAY OKAY SO.

it’s on an origins server with origins++, and my origin is a malfunction! which is extra fun when you consider that i’m the server admin.

SO. his whole thing is he was a malfunction in the server’s code, a glitch that wasn’t supposed to exist, accidentally made by the server gods (also “played” by me) and then sent down onto the server with no real information as to how the world worked because the server gods just went “oh fuck we accidentally made a person.”

he’s still incredibly loyal to the server gods despite this. think of him and the server gods as Frankenstein and his creature if the creature wanted so badly to connect with his creator, wanted so badly to believe that his creator still loved him.

everyone else on the server thinks of the server gods as negligent parents for him- but that isn’t quite true either. (since there’s some commands i can’t do on the console, i occasionally OP myself in game to have myself run commands,) which inspired me to make it so the reason why the server gods keep him alive was so they could use him as a vessel for their power, as the server gods can’t interact with the real world, but he can!

it’s fun and funky and he’s so so so fucked up but i love him <3

(oh right. for the top image, i also have this language i invented a while ago that i’ve been using for the server gods dkdjdkkd- the text translates to “all that i wanted was a quiet life, not one pre-determined by minuscule slices,” a lyric from Baby I Got The Death Rattle)

and to answer your question, he does have the common sense to not eat glass sadly. however i felt like he could be dared to do it.

all in all: he’s a poor pathetic lost puppy who trusts people way too easily, and has far too much faith in the server gods.
