Growing up, my father and I bonded by parallel play. We did our own thing in the same room with the TV on for background noise. We barely spoke. We argued when we did.

But trips to the bookstore are prime happy memories. We both fucked off to our own respective corners of the store to find a pile of books. I would bargain with him when he found me with a stack five or six high, and he always let me talk him into keeping at least two or three of the stack I really wanted.

Nowadays, we are chill. We can hangout. We can talk about the ADHD bullshit. We rarely argue. When I say something a little too bluntly, he quietly admonishes me, rather than instant yelling. My first few thoughts are often apathetic, they turn sympathetic or empathetic the more I let the thoughts grow. Impulsive little me would say the apathetic thing while still mulling everything over. I would be interrupted in thinking though because my dad was already yelling at me for being so heartless.

I wouldn’t remember what I said though, so I would start yelling back that that wasn’t my tone, then proceed to confuse what I said in my head and what came out of mouth in my memory. We argued a lot about what I said. We didn’t know then.

To this day, I still confuse what I said with what I thought. It’s a lovely little trait. Anyways. My dad does still think I’m a bit weird emotionally, but he’s a lot more comfortable with who I am and how I function. It’s a lot like how he does. We just recognize it better now.

God Boy Kills World was SO BAD. it was nothing but gory violence and the most groan-worthy, immature "humor" ever. Hard to believe a grown ass man wanted to star in it.

Okay so let me get this straight:

You went and saw a movie that is obviously gory, obviously violent, obviously immature, obviously dark humor just to complain about those things that are very clearly in the trailer which you either somehow didn’t see or decided that none of these themes would be in the movie, when you don’t like these things?

Then, you condemn Bill and only Bill for being in this movie because a “Grown ass man” shouldn’t or wouldn’t want to star in a movie like this. Any of the other A-list actors in this movie are absolved it’s only Bill’s problem?

You also completely ignore that this type of movie is a specific genre of movies, very popular, a lot of people like them, and they are very successful they are just for a certain audience that’s also not specifically you.

So after that I’m supposed to what? Agree with you because you somehow missed that this was what the movie contains, saw it anyway, and then got butthurt because it wasn’t good and Bill has personally offended you by his choice of acting roles?

Not going to happen. Especially because if you look at the reviews that are already out you’re in the minority. Either this is bait or you’re an idiot and it’s hilarious you wasted your money on a movie that you were obviously going to hate. Did you not watch the trailers or what?

avior is going to lose starlight someday, and (almost) wish that he didn't bring them back into the hellscape with them, just so he could see them forever. that he might not have to have watched them die so soon.

caelum is going to watch all of his charges die. he's gonna see david and asher and angel and baabe and the freelancer and the rest of the pack die. for all we know about the rate empathy daemons age, he could be about the maturity of a teenager when this happens. imagine watching someone's life from the near start, feeling their inner struggles and watching them leave. like they were never there in the first place. holding onto gavin for support.

gavin is not only gong to watch the love of his life die, but his new found family as well. the ones who didn't see him as just as someone to use for sex but a close friend. and gavin is going to be the last one left. left to watch all traces of the damn crew fade like they were never there. holding onto caelum for support. however (mentally) old he may be.
