I love their relationship so much #luz really went from calling Lilith a bitch in the only way the disney channel would allow to being like. okay she's pathetic #in the first few episodes of season 2 and then by elsewhere and elsewhen when Lilith is visibly doing better luz is so supportive #of like. her new job and hobbies and stuff #and Lilith is still the same cringe fail slug woman we all know and love but she cares about Luz!#she wants to help her and share her interests with her!#they're so lame together and I adore them soooo much. adhd and autism best friends forever (real)#this was a quick doodle that i put way too mucn effort into colouring and posing wise to not post #I'm proud of the shading not bc it's especially intricate or pretty #but because the process was entirely me colour picking each individual colour and futzing with it until i got coherent shading #it's not something i do often but i love to practice it cause i feel like it improves my colour sense #and also allows me to micro manage the palette #like how Luz's azura outfit and the inside of her mouth and Lilith's skin are all the same shade of off-white #BUT i gave Lilith's a warmer shading tone (bc it's skin and has blood beneath it) while Luz's teeth has a yellow shading cast #(since that's the colour teeth turn w/o enamel and most ppls teeth is a yellowy off-white anyway) and then Luz's outfit has a teal cast!#bc i wanted white fabric to look different to pale white skin or teeth #that's such a niche thing to have fun doing and appreciate abt my own work but like. it's there!#I'm not a master of colour by any means it's just nice to be able to do that

#art #traditional art #watercolour #oc art #ocs #oc group: unsorted #oc: unnamed #i like her. shes very cute #someday ive thought about remaking that generator. i never finished as much as i wanted to because 1) i was using picrew #which is a great lightweight infrastructure for a user but for the artist takes FOREVER if u like lots of colours and parts (like meee)#and 2) i for some ungodly reason tried to mimic the project/sunshine art style. despite that being like the opposite of the way i draw LOL #careful linework and neat colouring and glossy shading. it was a lot on my hands orz #but i did always wanna put in the hairstyles for every girl + some other stuff like curly hairs and such #but i only got through like u's and passed out and died. maybe i should remake it tho #simpler art and maybe i can find someone to help with colouring since digital colouring kills me #and then i could finally put all the hairstyles i wanted to....maybe someday.....

sometimes I feel shitty about not being great at comics but I've literally never done this before and learning to create, write and format comics is an entirely different beast from knowing how to draw them

#okay look #I can draw one thing #girls with neutral expressions from the chest up facing either forward or 2/3 or 3/4 #(not sideways though :/)#I will admit that I’ve gotten pretty damn good at that even if the proportions still tend to be wonky #but drawing literally anything else?#usually I just shamelessly trace over a reference picture. not even try to copy it by eye bc I’m awful at replication #straight up trace over and mess around with the details in some places #AND BEFORE ANYONE COMES AT ME I MEAN POSE WISE I DON’T TRACE ANYTHING ELSE #I’m also not too bad at colouring but my shading needs a ton of work #so.. yeah. by all standards I can’t really draw #I also can’t draw facial expressions or poses or backgrounds or objects or interactions #or anything really #is it any wonder 90% of my procreate gallery is stuff I never finished..#I know this is all my fault because I never practice what I want to get good at #I never do studies or draw smth over and over again to get better or anything #if I can’t draw something I delete the canvas and give up. end of story #ughhhhhhh. why am I like this #why am I physically incapable of putting in any effort whatsoever #and I dare call myself an artist #I don’t deserve that title

one of my favorite shades of purple is brown, how fun is that?

#just me hi #when purple looks brown i <33333 #i do dislike Actual brown (the warm stuff. ykno‚ like red-orange) but purple-brown is sooo ~+~+~+~+~#literally all my love to brown-purple. best thing ever #pink-brown is pretty cool but i don't like it as much as purple-brown #another really cool sick colour is lime green so lime and so green it looks Whiter Than White #or like !!! cyan that's so cyan it's white !!!#i know that they're not 100% those colours and actually pretty whitened but when i see them they are 40000% their respective colours #OH and when shading looks BRIGHT and lighter than the rest of the thing. very cool very epic. but also that isn't entirely to do with #colours lol #/oh my STARS when green looks blue. auh #ouhhhhhhh #Good Stufff
