Art shakes his head in disbelief, glaring at Patrick, who’s leaning against the wall next to Tashi with a subtle smirk on his face. Tashi, on the other hand, shifts her weight from one foot to another, gripping her hips through the satin dress the same color as the one she wore on the night they’d first met her.

“What is it about him that makes you so fucking horny, then? Huh? Tell me.”

Tashi exhales slowly with a careful look in her eyes. But he knows his fiancée well and can see the moment the lust switch in her is flipped on. “Art…” she tries.

“No. Tell me. I deserve to know.”

Tashi and Patrick exchange a look; hers nervous and apprehensive. His is cocky and almost…amused.

“I–he–” she tries. “It’s–”

Art waits impatiently, his eyebrows raised with expectance.

“It’s…different.”

“Different. How.”

“You make sweet, sweet love to her,” Patrick interjects with a mocking tone. “ I fuck her. That’s the difference.”
