I was at Comic con at the weekend as Ahsoka, it was so much fun. This is the first time I've cosplayed something people actually recognise so that was fun, I got people asking for pictures this time. It was pretty cool passing by other Star Wars cosplayers and getting the little nod like "hey! same fandom!" Got a few people passing me and just saying "May the force be with you." I also walked past a Storm trooper (from a charity) and he nodded at me and just said "Commander Tano." Did the masquerade too which was fun and a little scary lol. My arms hurt now though from carrying my bag and my lightsabers and I got a heat rash on my leg but I really enjoyed it.

Making the cosplay wasn't easy, I've made things with foam before but it's only been crowns and belts so the headpiece was a first and it was really frustrating but I got there in the end (thankfully popular characters have YouTube tutorials.) I also had to get up really early to do the make up but I think it turned out well. This has been a cosplay I've wanted to do for a while, I really love Ahsoka.

Anyway, here's some pictures for the cosplay, as well as some selfies I took while taking a break and with a life sized R2 and of course the stuff I bought at the con too.

The haul from ECCC! Can't wait to learn Wyrmspan, and I love the art book that is the Mork Borg rulebook. And I adore pins! There's a closeup of those goods. The unlabeled ones are from Floral Frolic, Typlosion is from Ihuatzin, the space fox from Oyakoro, chokobo from Geekthirst.

Got this cute and handsome devil at Denfur 2023! He glows in the dark when treated with UV light 😳 Sadly I was not able to catch the name of the booth who sold it to me. If anyone knows the name please @ them!

Day ONE of the con at the garage sale, I found…

An authentic Ninjago Movie backpack. For TWO DOLLARS. This was such a good find guys you have NO IDEA 😭❤️

Also, I painted a mini! it’s not loading properly for SOME REASON??? I didn’t paint it very well because I was sooo tired at around 9pm so it was more of a calming activity than a big project. Fun tho!!

That concludes my con haul! I’m looking forward to future cons so I can get more stuff and cosplay more often. This was so much fun.

Today was the last day of the Motor City Comic Con. We didn't take any pictures today so apologies for that 🤣😂

We saw a panel with Catherine Tate and she was funny and engaging. We then attempted to go see Brent Spiner and Johnathan Frakes from Star Trek but that panel was in a smaller room and was full before we got there. We also had to submit our Gen Con wishlists at noon!! As expected that took FOREVER. So, we did a lap around the vendor hall and left
