It's kinda sad that starscream is having a better time with the autobots- the enemy he's supposed to be fighting against, than he ever did with the decepticons

Well, I wouldn’t say his time with the Decepticons was ALL bad. In fact, while staying with the Autobots, some familiar faces may turn up at the Autobot base now that Starscream is hanging out there!

For a lot of people, the war has essentially been over for nearly three years (due to both Optimus and Megatron being out of the picture). Now that Megatron is back, not everyone wants to go back to war, and some of the Decepticons that had been hiding out on Earth are starting to reach out for help. I think with Starscream staying with the Autobots, he'd become a sort of liaison between ex-Decepticons and Autobots. This isnt to say they're all living at Autobot base now, some of them might, while others like Swindle are out doing their own thing and only showing up to trade or whatever else.

A bit annoying to Starscream considering they wouldnt follow him when he was technically leader of the Decepticons, but we take what we can get.

F1 Fantasy is similar to other fantasy sports where you given a budget (100m), then you build your team of 5 drivers and 2 constructors from there.

You can join at any point but if you join and miss teamlock you will have to wait for the next Grand Prix to score points

how to play

1. Log into your f1 account or register for a free account either on the website or app

2. Create 1-3 teams, each consisting of 5 drivers and 2 constructors ranging from various prices

3. Pick a driver who will score double points (that’s your “drs boost”) any driver in your team with a drs boost will score double their points that Grand Prix

4. Chips help power up your team. Each chip will suit different situations throughout the season. Whether it’s helping you to make wholesale changes to your line-up or giving one driver a huge x3 score multiplier there’s a chip that can help. There are six chips available but each one can only be used once during the season and you can only use one per race (from f1 fantasy)

5. You have 2 free transfers ahead of every race for your teams if you make more than 2 it will cost your team 10 penalty points 1 unused transfer will carry over to the race

The screenshots I post are from this IDW mini-series 'bout Drift and Ratchet, but Grit is a major character in all four parts. It's a quick read and I really enjoyed it (only for Grit + Knockout ((not that one)) and my other obscure characters).

Remember our Sledge situation? Where you found my Micromaster goober in that Swindle comic? Grit (+ KO) is a part of his team-- The Constructor Squad. Three out of the original six have had modern cameos in comics and Grit has been the most developed.

I'll let you read the comic bc I enjoyed it and I want you to see how he develops, but basically, he's this die-hard Decepticon who lives to serve and nothing else-- he' your one-of-the-mill background bad guys... until he ISN'T!!!

Drayton's PMD AU Recap so far:

Juliana chooses to show Terapagos to the BB E4. It starts behaving strangely, until a spacetime rift suddenly opens in the clubroom. Everyone's affected by its gravity, but Drayton is sucked in entirely.

A Skitty named Rosemary - Rosy for short - discovers him previously unconscious out on a dirt road on the edge of a rocky forest, as a Treecko. He introduces himself and tells her that he's a human, or supposed to be one.

Rosy tells him she's never heard of or seen a human before, which was a big deal to her since she and the team she works for specializes in researching numerous things about the world. Rosy chooses to guide him to Terra Town nearby, where the said team's base is currently stationed on Cyano Hill.

The R&R (Research & Rescue) Squad is an organization that joint-functions as an expedition team and a rescue team. It was founded and is currently led by Ribet, a Politoed (Kieran's rep). The squad has multiple employees as a whole, but has 5 senior / main staff underneath Ribet. (And yes, his catchphrase is "It's time for some R&R!")

Names TBA for some, but here are at least the pokemon species and their roles:

Rosy the Skitty - Head Field Agent (Lacey's rep)

Cura the Liepard - Head Combat Instructor (Carmine's rep)

Neri the Tinkatuff - Head Constructor / Metalworker (Amarys's rep)

__ the (female) Indeedee - Head Registrar & Head Nurse (Juliana's rep)

Regardless of role, everyone is capable of going out onto the field for missions.

Knowing that the R&R Squad could be the key to him getting answers and hopefully finding a way back home, Drayton is adamant on joining while keeping his human origin a secret. He's allowed to, but as an apprentice field agent for the time being. Cura is tasked with training Drayton to get him ready, then some days later he's partnered alongside Rosy to form a duo.

Their first mission is to look into reports of disappearances within Moonreach Forest to the west...

Mercedes Calls In Police Over Anonymous Hamilton F1 Sabotage Email

Mercedes has called in the police over an anonymous email accusing the Formula 1 team of dangerous sabotage of Lewis Hamilton's car

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has revealed that the police are involved in investigating the source of an anonymous email accusing the team of trying to deliberately sabotage Lewis Hamilton's car. An anonymous email, sent to the same list of F1 and media representatives who were forwarded alleged WhatsApp messages involving Christian Horner earlier this year, said Mercedes was playing a dangerous game. The message claimed to be from a team member and accused Mercedes, and especially Wolff, of "systematic sabotaging" of Hamilton's car, strategy and mental health. It went on to claim that there were "underhand" actions taking place and feared that the squad was on a "dangerous path" that could "ultimately be life-threatening to Lewis." It is also understood that follow-up WhatsApp messages were sent from a mobile phone to selected individuals. Mercedes has dismissed any suggestion that the email has any element of the truth and are clear that the communications have not come from an employee. Speaking at the Spanish Grand Prix, a clearly agitated Wolff said that the police had been called in as he vowed to find the perpetrator. "It's not from a member of the team," said Wolff. "When we are getting these kinds of emails, and we're getting tons of them, it is upsetting, particularly when there is somebody talking about death and all these things. On this particular one, I have instructed to go on full force. We have the police inquiring [about] it. We're researching the IP address. We are researching the phone. All of that because online abuse in that way needs to stop. People can't hide behind their phones or their computers and abuse teams or drivers in a way like this." Wolff said it was inconceivable that Mercedes would deliberately derail its efforts in the constructors' championship by holding back one of its drivers on purpose. "I don't know what some of the conspiracy theorists and lunatics think out there," he added. "Lewis has been part of the team for twelve years. We have a friendship. We trust each other. We want to end this on a high. We want to celebrate the relationship. If you don't believe all of that, then you can believe that we want to win the constructors' world championship, and part of the constructors' world championship is making both cars win. So, to all of these mad people out there, talk to a shrink." Wolff went on to explain that he found it especially frustrating that people were hiding behind anonymous identities to criticise rather than being open about it. "There will always be people that have the laptop on their chest in their bedroom and just typing away," he said. "If people feel like they want to abuse and hit out and hide behind a made-up Instagram account, or anything else that, for me is… come up, say who you are, and we'll take the criticism and discuss. Enel fucked off back to the White-White Sea for two days and left Shura in charge. Well, technically he didn't leave anyone in charge but there's no way Shura is going to let Ohm be in charge. Ohm's in charge of the fish and that's it. If he starts trying to boss Shura around, or hell even the Blue Sea people, Shura's going to kill him.

Still, Shura didn't really consider what putting himself in charge of the Blue Sea people meant. Back at the Upper Yard he would occasionally boss the Divine Soldiers around, but mostly he focused on perfecting his trial. Now that Enel is gone the Blue Sea people have worked up the courage to start complaining. To him of all people. Because he's in charge of them. Fuck.

Tragically, they have a point. While the farms are flourishing and Shura can, begrudgingly, admit Ohm is the best person to care for the skyfish, there isn't much else. There's less people than even a fourth of the Divine soldiers, but that's more than they have necessities for. They're going to want shelters and new clothes and, fuck he doesn't know, booze? He's going to have to figure something out before they start rioting and he has to kill them all and then Ohm's going to make a snide comment and then Shura will have to kill him too and when Enel returns he's going to pretend he's the reasonable one---

...Whatever it'll be a mess. Which is why it's real convenient when one of the Blue Sea people suggests looting their former prison. Its a good idea, good enough that Shura picks out a squad to go with him and heads there that day.

There's something viscerally satisfying about seeing the place that held you captive destroyed, not that Shura's going to admit to being a captive. Still theyre here for a purpose so he orders his temporary minions to grab anything useful and they separate into the building.

A while later he's interrupted by one of the Blue Sea people (Xev? Vex? Zel?) who is practically bouncing in place. They lead him down to the basement into a contingent of automatons. He goes to attack, before he's interrupted again. The Blue Sea person feverishly explains that they're not soldiers, but constructors. They go on a ramblely explanation about how they were sent up to build the base, but were shut down after construction was completed, something must have turned them back on...

Shura grins.

The numbers themselves are kind of rough (in reality they would be based on F1’s revenue) according to the terms of the Concorde Agreement, the team prize pot is made up of 50% of the overall commercial rights profit that the series generates.

This money goes into a pot for the teams.

First of all before prize money is allocated, the teams get their bonuses (this equates to about 25% of the teams pot) Ferrari gets their special Ferrari payment which is 5% of the pot. There’s bonuses to teams that have finished P3 or higher in the constructors championship in the past 10 years (Mercedes, Red Bull, McLaren, Williams and Ferrari) and bonuses for teams that have won a title in recent years.

Once these payments have been made, the rest of the money is distributed among the teams on a sliding scale basis, with the top team getting 14% and the bottom squad getting 6%.

For simplicity I assumed that in both cases the pot has $1b in it after bonuses have been taken out (not completely unlikely)

So if Andretti were to join P1 would get $7m less a year in regards to prize money, if F1’s revenue stayed the same.

However there is the anti dilution payment which would be Andretti paying $200m which would be split evenly between the teams, which on average would cover their losses for 4 years.

How this Prime Transformer broke out.

Prior to Prime, there were five Transformers who bore the name. A member of the Constructor Squad of the Decepticons of G1. A member of the Land Military Mini-Con Team from Armada. A binary-bonded Mini-Con partner of Ultra Magnus from Energon. An Autobot from Revenge of the Fallen and in Speed Stars (both Live Action). So in 2011, when Prime began airing on the Hub, Knock Out came to be.

Coming in 10 episodes into the series, Starscream called him to the Decepticon base to help Megatron. What made him stand out is his Vehicle mode is a car, making him stand out among the other Decepticons who were all planes. He was a delight to see on screen as his personality shines through. Though if you want a more thorough look at him in the Prime Series, check out Emperor Kumquat’s video on “Who is Knock Out and Why is Knock Out?”

After the series, there are apparently a bunch of Prime comics related to that. They tend to be before the finale since he joins the Autobots at the end. He apparently was also a Kre-On from Hasbro’s line of Lego Competitors, but it didn’t really capture his look. And after Prime, ignoring a Knockout from the Battle Masters, this Knock Out was the default one from here on out including the IDW Comics.

Sadly, Knock Out has only made a total of 37 appearances in comics, which includes Prime, the crossover, the Japanese one and probably any other Transformer called Knock Out. He’s also in the Animated Continuity, though part of The Complete AllSpark Almanac. Though the comics do confirm that he and Breakdown are indeed a couple, so good on them.

So what makes Knock Out a favorite of mine? For starters, he stands out from the Decepticons. A car when others are planes. Bright red when others are military grays. He uses a staff when others have built in weaponry. He’s a surgeon who would love to give people upgrades or dissect the enemy. And honestly he is just fun to watch on screen.
