These Almond Joy Cookie Bars combine the flavors of coconut, almonds, and chocolate to create a chewy and satisfying dessert. They're ideal for parties, potlucks, or whenever you want something sweet and decadent.
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 cups sweetened shredded coconut. 1 cup chopped almonds. 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips. 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C. A 9x13-inch baking pan should be greased. Melt the butter and mix it with the white sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. One at a time, add the eggs and beat well after each one. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Mix the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt together in a different bowl. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until they are just combined. Spread out half of the cookie dough in the baking pan that has been prepared. Put the sweetened shredded coconut, chopped almonds, and semisweet chocolate chips in a medium-sized bowl and mix them together. Put this mix on top of the cookie dough in the pan. Add the sweetened condensed milk on top of the layer of chocolate chips and coconut. Crush the rest of the cookie dough and sprinkle it on top of the layer of sweetened condensed milk. Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Let the cookie bars cool all the way in the pan before you cut them into squares and serve them.

Delicious glazed sugar cookie bars bursting with mixed berry goodness. These bars are ideal as a sweet treat or as a lovely dessert option for parties.
Ingredients: 1 cup butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 cup mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries. 1/4 cup powdered sugar for glaze. 1 tablespoon milk for glaze.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a large bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix them in well. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a different bowl. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients one at a time until a dough forms. Spread out about two-thirds of the dough evenly in the baking pan that has been prepared. This will be the base. Cover the dough base with the mixed berries. Make a streusel-like topping by crumbling the rest of the dough over the berry layer. Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is just barely golden. Let the cookie bars cool all the way down on a wire rack in the pan. To make a glaze, mix the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl. Pour the glaze over the cookie bars that have already cooled. Cut the bars into squares and serve after the glaze has set.

When you want chocolate chip cookies but are too lazy to make individual cookies. The baking stone worked perfectly for getting the bottoms perfectly browned without burning. I spread the dough approximately 1/2 inch thick and baked it for 20 minutes instead of the 10 for cookies. I used the version of the toll house cookie recipe that's in the Mennonite Cookbook, and the chocolate is @wilburchocolate Brandywine Bittersweet chocolate chunks (also my go to for truffles). . . . #baking #BakingFromScratch #instabake #bakestagram #CookieBars #ChocolateChipCookies https://www.instagram.com/p/CGJ7j-Ahhhb/?igshid=18bq02gayyeoa
