Entry 63
After the last gathering we held at our place, I realized we have no need to buy disposable utensils again. Why is that? Well, I finally went through all the things in the "camping supplies" drawer and discovered we have 2 'picnic sets' (reusable plastic utensils). The sets together serve 12. Real d'oh moment, but this is definitely a 'better late than never' kind of deal.
And today, an unexpected thing happened; the kneeling chair broke. Although I had originally bought it for myself, my partner ended up using it a lot more, so I asked him if he wanted to replace it, and he said - "no need. Hand me one of the folding chairs instead." (We host a lot, so we have 6 folding chairs and 4 stools lying around.) This happened only a few days after I let go of my gaming chair with its broken pneumatics, and I too decided the folding chairs were a good enough replacement.
I also got a new toilet cleaning brush and oven mitts to replace worn-out equipment. Tidied the bathroom while i was at it. Came across the plunger. I forgot we had a plunger (but rest assured that my handy partner didn't forget).
Still struggling with redundant cosmetics, but I think it's less of a struggle than it used to be. I'm better at choosing products that are useful, but more importantly, I'm getting better at not buying new things to solve imaginary problems with my grooming routine.
Peace and love.

Ok so this is what I'm working with. As you can see, not a lot of potential to add other stuff and actually use it. There's also a ton of palettes, and I doubt I'll make a sizable dent in one year, but it's worth a shot.

Kiss Attack!
Gayatri is a super high class model as she made her way to the top in Mumbattan's fashion industry. With this kind of popularity, she became an Influencer, a fashion icon with the ideals trends of the latest fashion and makeup tutorials. So with this new form of popularity to a much broader audience, she receives many PRs from Cosmetic brands and skin care brands. She went to a Mac Cosmetic launching party not long ago.
With new makeup packages being delivered every day, she needed to decluttered her old collection. She didn't like to be wasteful, so she likes to give them away to close friends, and family. Now, she visited her cute boyfriend's Spider-friends-
Oh yeah, she knows her man is Spider-man, but that's a secret she'll take to the grave. Anyway, her boyfriend's friends are pretty cool and fun. Hobie is one person, she likes to hang out due to his unique fashion and artistic style in makeup. It seems like he is a trendsetter in his own world, too.
Right now, she packed many cosmetic products for him to try. She knows he'll use them or donate to the right people that'll love them the same she did.
"Hello, my love." Pavitr came by with his friends into her massive penthouse.
"Oh hey, bae!" She happily went over to give him kisses. "Hey, Gwen. Hey, Hobie. Where's Miles?"
"He went to grab his sister." Hobie saw the boxes of cosmetics, "Oh more for me?"
"Yeah! Look through and grab what you like-" Gayatri gasps, "I just realized. I got this cool PR package and I thought I should give it to you. Look!" She went to get a package for him and her makeup tools, "Hehehe, you gotta try this eyeliner and lipstick!"
"Oh I call dibs on eyeshadow!" Gwen shouted.
"Oh I wanna put blush and foundation on him!" Pavitr happily raised their hands.
Hobie chuckles as he became their model. They love spreading their artistic side with his face, and he loves the looks. Gwen had a very messy vibrant style, Gayatri is more about fine line work, and Pavitr knows how to blend.
When a big orange portal opened up into Gayatri's penthouse, Miles jumps in with two year old Billie. The toddler happily shimmy to the music her brother playing on a small speaker, playing Bad Bunny's song called EoO.
Miles dances with Billie, "Ay, go Boo-boo! Go!" He moves with her to her favorite song on the album.
Billie bobs her head letting her beads from her braided hair clashing together. She laughs, "Go me! Go me!" Her brother carried her in a baby carrier bag, her legs kicking the air while her own Spider-man mask on her mini pouch along with her snacks.
"Hey, Miles! Hi, Billie!" Pavitr claps seeing the two dancing, "Oh, dancing? Let me join in." He hops in dancing with them.
Billie laughs, "Pav is funny, Mi-mi!"
Soon, Miles turns off the music. "Awe." Pavtir and Billie pouts from the music being turned off.
Gayatri laughs at the three, before showing Hobie her hand mirror, "Take a look."
"Lookin' good, Hobie." Gwen said, "I love the sparkles from the eyeshadow and that black lipstick is so cool."
"It's a called Midnight, shifts from black to blue to purple." Gayatri said to her friends.
Hobie smirks at himself in the mirror. "Hey guys, sorry I'm late. Gotta watch Boo-boo today." Miles walks in while Pavitr carried Billie in his arms. They saw Hobie's face. "Whoa, bae. You look so cool!"
"Wow!" Billie said out loud.
Hobie had one some colorful eyeshadows with his black lipstick, "Thanks, Sunflower." Having a massive grin on his face, the wheels in his head started turning. "Oh Sunflower!" He sang out loud.
"Oh gawd, you're gonna kiss attack me, again!" Miles laughs already seeing his boyfriend making his way to him.
Billie quickly turns her head with a shocking expression as Hobie tackles Miles down and started to give him multiple kisses. "Mmmm-wah! Mmm-wah!" Hobie dug in his lips in his Sunflower's face making sure his lipstick left a perfect mark.
Gwen and Gayatri break out laughing, "Hobie you missed a spot!" Gwen pointed at Miles' top of his cheek.
"And here." Gayatri giggles.
Pavitr holds Billie in his arms, "Hahaha, Miles! Your face!"
Miles lay on the floor letting his boyfriend kiss attack him. Billie on the other hand scowls, then she yanks Pavitr's hair, "No! No! Me! I wanna kiss hermano!"
"Uh huh, somebody is jealous!" Gwen hums at Miles' little sister already fuming with jealousy.
Hobie teased, "He's all mine, lil blu! Mwah! Mwah! Mwahahaha all mine!"
"Hobie, you're gonna make her cry and get off me." Miles struggles a bit with his face covered in kissy marks.
"Awe, don't be mean." Gayatri took out a pretty vibrant purple lipstick, "Pav bring her here."
Billie happily laughs seeing Gayatri thinking the same thing as she. The toddler puckered her lips while Pat's girlfriend put lipstick on her. "There." Gayatri giggles.
"Okay! Go Billie! Kiss Attack Miles!" Pavitr set Billie down next to her big brother.
Billie quickly went to kiss her big brother's forehead, cheek, and nose. "Mwah! Mwah! Hermano! I kiss attack you!"
"No, I did!" Hobie laughs as the two keep kissing Miles' face.
The three young adults stood laughing and smiling. "Wait... don't lipstick stain?" Pavitr finally asked.
"WHAT!" Miles shouted.
"Uh oh!" Gwen said.
Gayatri winced, "Opps, sorry Miles." Those lipsticks are meant for staining, too.
Later that same day,
"Ugh! My whole face looks like I got hives!" Miles' brown skinned had kissy marks all stained in dark purple or red! "I look like I got eczema!"
Hobie carries Billie while the two laughing together. "Good job, lil Boo. High five, luv." The toddler happily high five her brother's boy. They had their lipstick marks all over their mouth being smudge from kissing Miles. Not to mention, it left a stained on their face too.
Gayatri rubs her neck, "Miles, don't worry. It said the stain last for ten hours."
"UGH!" Miles groans trying to wash it off.

Selling your house quickly requires a strategic approach and an understanding of the real estate market. This comprehensive guide provides essential tips and strategies to help you achieve a fast house sale.
1. Understanding the Real Estate Market
The first step in selling your house quickly is understanding the current real estate market conditions. The market can fluctuate based on various factors such as the economy, interest rates, and local demand.
Market Analysis: Conduct a thorough market analysis to determine the current trends and the best time to sell. Look at recent sales in your area and compare similar properties to set a competitive price.
Seasonal Trends: Real estate markets can have seasonal trends. Spring and summer are typically the busiest times for home sales, while winter can be slower.

Landscaping: Maintain a well-manicured lawn, trim bushes, and plant flowers to enhance the exterior appearance.

5. High-Quality Photos and Virtual Tours
In today’s digital age, high-quality photos and virtual tours are essential for attracting buyers.

Virtual Tours: Offer virtual tours to give potential buyers a detailed view of the property from the comfort of their own homes.

Open Houses: Host open houses to attract multiple potential buyers at once.
Agent Network: Work with a real estate agent who has a strong network and can market your home to a wider audience.
For effective marketing strategies, visit Home Loans in Dubai.
7. Flexible Showings

Ooh, yay, my first Tumblr tag game, thank you @aesethewitch! How did you know that I wanted to refresh and resume using my social stuff! :) Also, I love, love, love learning fun facts about people, so, bonus.
are you named after someone? No, I'm basically the only person on my mother's side of the family who is NOT named after St. Mary.
what sports have you played? I've never played any - I was the girl in high school with a reputation for being a lesbian and a witch, because I was home every night role-playing online instead of socialising, long-distance dating a dungeon-master, and playing Dance Dance Revolution for hours as my form of exercise. Funnily enough, I didn't actually dabble in witchcraft or dating women until I'd fled my hometown. Oh, but I did used to lift weights in the garage with my dad while blasting classic rock - that's almost a sport! It's a montage, at the very least!
do you use sarcasm? Not anywhere close to as often as I used to. Now I prefer silly word-play and even sillier voices, ridiculous sound effects, and exaggerated facial expressions.
what is the first thing you notice about people? Ever since I started working a sales job in a cosmetics store, the first thing I notice is the health and overall condition of people's skin and hair. My GOD did everyone have fried hair in a lot of old slasher movies!
what's your eye colour? Dark, dark brown.
scary movies or happy endings? Scary movies every time!
any talent? I don't really feel like I have any special talents, but my most consistently received compliment is for helping people feel heard, safe, and protected. I'm super proud of the fact that colleagues will come to me if they need someone between them and a frightening person or situation - I work in a major downtown area, so it happens more frequently than it should - or if they spot someone else nearby who needs any type of help. I definitely want to grow that aptitude in various ways. It's also really, really funny to me, because I'm 5'3", fat, and soft-spoken, and yet also the shop guardian!
what are your hobbies? My primary hobbies throughout my time off from work have been watching loads of movies, reading a lot of spicy romantasy, and trying out all sorts of new recipes, but I'd like to include more walks around the city, more decluttering and decorating, and more dedicated writing now that my energy levels are beginning to rise. Plus, I want to attain a conversational level of French, because I'm surrounded by cute francophones now!
do you have any pets? My chubby li'l geriatric baby kitty Lucy! She's my one and only - I don't see myself owning pets again after her - but I adore her and give her everything I humanly can. :)
how tall are you? Technically, I'm 5'3".5.
dream job? As of last night, I've been randomly fixated on considering becoming a massage therapist, but if I'm really fantasizing, I would combine it with becoming a registered dietitian, professional tarot and/or tea leaf reader, and romance novelist. Ideally, I could continue getting paid to rest at home and do whatever I want, but that deal expires with the cancer that I've almost finished officially removing from my body. X)
I'm only going to, very pointedly, tag @rosewitch89 to see if I can bully you into being active. ;) But I'd genuinely love to read answers from any mutuals!

Disaster Repair Mission Day 2:
Day 1 was surprisingly successful with making The Plan, completely decluttering the living room, making some cosmetic repairs, washing the couch covers, and a few loads of laundry.
Today is tenuous because my youngest is complaining her ear hurts. I’m really hoping a shower and getting her a little less congested will help.
If I do not spend my day at the doctors and being a human pillow, todays goals are:
Dishes
Fold and put away laundry
Put couch covers back on
Tackle dining room/storage benches
If I can get to the benches before noon I’ll be going well. So. Here’s hoping.

S.O.S. - 12
There is this phase at the beginning of every romantic relationship. It's when you want to say you're dating, but you don't want to be the person who says it first. It's kind of a limbo of relationships, no labels no full on commitment. Just shitty beer and great sex. Not necessarily in that order.
Simon was great. Great in bed and great at everything else. I firmly believed there was nothing this man couldn't conquer. I on the other hand had a daily existential crisis. This summer specifically I literally had NOTHING to do. Nothing. No homework, no projects, no next semester to prepare for. All I did so far was fuck and eat. I felt trapped. Like I was on a highway with no exits and no GPS, going 30mph, while everyone was racing past me to their destination. I decided I needed to do something.
"Simon, what must one do to join the SAS?" the handsome lieutenant raised his eyebrow at me as he emerged from the shower. It took all my willpower to not rip that towel off of him right then and there. He was already wearing his mask. I still haven't seen his face in full.
"Why are you askin', lovie? Want to join?" I slid on the edge of the comfortable bed and looked up at him. "Maybe."
"It's tough. Really tough. People die from trying. Don't do it." he turned around and took a fresh t-shirt out of the dresser. "But...you didn't die. And I'm pretty sure if I train hard I can get in."
Turning around and dropping the towel, he started to walk towards me. Still slightly wet, he was on full display. Every last inch of him. Gently he lift up my chin, forcing me to look him in the eyes. "Don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. You're too pretty to die."
This kind of annoyed me. Who did he think he was? Because I decided I'm not going to let him have all the power, I grabbed his delicious waist and blew him right on the spot.
The walk home was annoying. I wanted to classify our relationship but was too afraid that if I say something I'd ruin it. There was too much in my head. So I decluttered my desk. And my cosmetics. And my books. I ripped off the posters I had since high school, even organised my junk drawer. I was desperate for a new start. Something that would say: this is your purpose in this life, now do it.
Suddenly my phone buzzed. "Working late again, patient has improved. Take care of yourself, will call you tomorrow." - MOM
Great. It's just so fun to have a hospice nurse for a mom. I walked to the fridge and had a quick look inside. A tomato, a few carrots, some milk and one lonely egg. Just great.
My train of thoughts was interrupted by my phones ringtone. "Hello?"
"Evening, lovie." the butterflies in my stomach awakened. "Evening, lieutenant." I heard a small grunt on the other side. "None of that bollocks. What are you doing?"
"Intermittent fasting."
"What?" he did not sound amused. "Look, I have no food in the fridge and all the shops are closed by now. When stuff like that happens, I just put boujee words on it to make it seem like a choice."
.....nothing.
"Text me your address, I'm coming over."
And just like that, my fast was broken before it could properly begin.

Yesterday I found the time to throw out more expired cosmetics (old tubes of aloe vera gel). Today I ought to find time to go over my winter gear and maybe finally say goodbye to things I clung to for sentimental reasons. If they're in good condition I'll drop them off at the second-hand donation bin, and if not - to the textile recycling bin they go. Maybe I'll finally be able to fit all my clothes in the closet afterwards, no need for seasonal storage; if so, it'll be wonderful, as it would clear up the overhead storage space for when baby outgrows his crib (which we will not be donating/reselling/throwing away for now, in case we end up with baby #2 by surprise).
Peace and Love.

So, I was sitting in my room, on my computer the other day, as normal. So I was scrolling through, and was looking at different makeup shops, thinking about making a purchase. However, I looked over and saw that I had likely too much makeup, so I decided. I'm going to do a huge haul, in one year. In the meantime I've decided I'm not buying anymore makeup for one year, with a few rules, obv. Um, so if that's interesting to you, go ahead and follow.

No matter the size of your bathroom or the frequency of your shopping habits, there’s always need for a proper bathroom organizer. Keeping that all-important space organized can be a challenging feat—especially if you, like us, keep backups of all the most regularly used products or want to try out every new product launch. It’s easy to let bottles, brushes, and other bathroom items pile up. But that’s where bathroom shelves and storage baskets come into play.In an effort to streamline your beauty routine, implement a storage system that works with your daily life. We spoke to six home organization experts on the most efficient ways to create order in your abode and pulled together all the bathroom storage solutions they recommend. Read on for 20 bathroom organizer solutions that can help turn a cluttered commode into an oasis focused on functionality.Contain your hair productsTools, such as hair dryers, straighteners, and curling irons, can take up lots of space on your bathroom countertop. With long wires and bulky exteriors, it can be difficult to find a place to store hair tools while also having easy access. Ann Lightfoot, cofounder of Done and Done Home, recommends putting deep stackable bins with sliding drawers under your sink to contain all of your larger hair care products. “Measure your area carefully,” she advises, as this will help take advantage of every inch you have.Stori Audrey Stackable Cosmetic Organizer DrawersClear organizers make it easy to find what you’re looking for—and identify when you’re low on your essentials. They also make great options for vanity organizers or any spaces where you need to wrangle your makeup go-tos. Merrylun Metal Pull Out Under Sink OrganizerExtra towels, toilet paper, soap refills, cleaning supplies—all are easily accessible from these sliding shelves. The L shape is especially thoughtful, since it fits easily around pipes and whatever weird angles your under-sink space serves up. Showcase your toiletriesSkin care, makeup, and perfume typically come in the most beautiful packaging that adds a pop of personality to your bathroom. Lisa Jacobs, founder of Imagine It Done, suggests installing floating shelves to fill the empty wall space and make it easy to sort through all of your beautiful toiletries.Upsimples Floating Shelves (Set of 6)The ledge on these white wall shelves is an important design touch, especially if you’re storing something fragile like perfume bottles. Install a towel bar underneath that matches your toilet paper holder for some extra cohesion. West Elm Acrylic Ledge ShelfAcrylic shelves put colorful packaging and even that cute matte black storage box for your cotton swabs on full display. Wall shelves that melt into the background can also make your space feel even larger while offering a good declutter. This design comes in two lengths—24" and 36"—so you can mix and match for even more storage options. Drawer organizers are a mustBreak the habit of overstuffing your bathroom drawers. Jamie Grunfeld, founder of Better Than B4, recommends organizing regularly used products in stackable drawer organizers. These organizers and drawer dividers designate a space for each one of your products and makeup brushes, making it less tempting to stuff your drawers and easier to find products when you’re in a rush.Marie Kondo Hikidashi Bamboo Drawer Organizers (Set of 6)Designed to house tiny, miscellaneous items (we’ve all got them!), these organizer trays come in different sizes so you can make the most of whatever drawer space you’re working with. Made of bamboo, they also have small grooves that make them easy to stack. The Container Store Acrylic Stackable Drawer OrganizersMix and match different sizes to create a custom storage and organization set that fits your space. Slide them into a storage cabinet, vanity, bathroom vanity drawer, or leave them on a tabletop so you can easily grab your bathroom essentials. The clear design is just another opportunity to show off some cute make-up packaging. Utilize over-the-toilet spaceSuddenly find yourself with no bathroom cabinet space left? Look into purchasing a freestanding over-the-toilet storage unit to increase the storage space in your bathroom. These units let you stash utilitarian products such as toilet paper, linens, tampons, and cleaning supplies. “We love them because they take advantage of space that would otherwise be wasted,” Ann says.ALLZONE Adjustable Over The Toilet Storage ShelfThis floor-to-ceiling design isn’t something you see every day in a bathroom. The tension rod design is adjustable, accommodating ceiling heights between 64” and 113”. The shelves are also adjustable, both height and width. For extra points, find a shower curtain rod in a similar style. West Elm Profile Ladder StorageNo need to drill any holes to unlock storage potential. These shelves are made of tempered safety glass and the legs come with adjustable levelers—perfect for the weird, sloping floor your apartment seems to favor. Don’t let small spaces go to wasteEven if you live with a super-small bathroom, there may be wasted space between your sink and toilet or in a tight corner. Shira Gill, organization expert and author of Minimalista, recommends a slim rolling cart with open shelves or a neutral-colored corner shelving unit to create bathroom storage in every inch of your space.Rejuvenation Devin Teak 3-Tier Corner ShelfThe teak foundation protects this shelf from moisture, meaning you can drop it directly in the shower to house your shampoo, soap dispenser, skin care, and whatever else you’re reaching for come bath time. Yamazaki Rolling Slim CartThis sleek set of rolling storage shelves is sneaky. We’re partial to the yellow colorway—a perfect pop for a neutral space. “This storage cart was a game changer for housing my very involved skin-care routine,” says commerce editor Audrey Lee. “I don’t have any sort of cabinets in my humble bathroom, and the slim silhouette really helps me maximize the space.” Get rid of bulky plastic or cardboard packagingProducts such as flossers, Q-tips, and cotton balls tend to come in bulky packaging that takes up more room than necessary. Instead, Kelly Welch, founder of Organized by KW, advises using matching marbled containers to discreetly store these products in plain sight. Put on display next to the sink, a matching set can make your toothbrush and bar of soap look nice and uniform, or you can tuck them away in a drawer or bathroom cabinet. Get eco-friendly and reuse the containers for soap, lotion, and more–we’ve also tried a few “packaging light” subscription services that’ll send refills in a snap.CB2 Nexus Marble Bath AccessoriesIf spa vibes are what you’re after, this set will get you closer to the goal. Available in both black and white, there are eight different designs: soap pump, vanity tray, large canister, bath caddy, tissue box cover, wastebasket, toilet brush, and toothbrush holder. West Elm Ume Bath AccessoriesIf marble isn’t your look, consider this a chance to add a pop of color to your bathroom. The indigo blue option for these accessories is a welcome surprise. Try lidded baskets to store personal productsIt’s important to keep a back stock of toilet paper, razors, feminine hygiene products, and cleaning supplies for any home. However, they tend to be rather unaesthetic and don’t necessarily need to be on display. For products you’d rather not have in plain sight, Shira recommends using baskets with flip lids as “a stylish and functional concealed storage solution.”Zara Home Seagrass Basket with LidThis woven basket comes in two sizes (7.9"H x 16.5"W x 11.8"D and 9.8"H x 20.9"W x 14.6"D) and has a handy little clasp to make sure the lid stays put. Crate & Barrel Sedona Grey Lidded Rectangular ToteThis is the perfect hiding place for extra rolls of toilet paper. Made of 100% rattan, each one is handwoven and is one in a set of matching accessories—if that’s the aesthetic you’re leaning into. Replace your old shower caddy with a corner caddyOver-the-showerhead or hanger caddies tend to be bulky and can be unstable depending on the weight of the products on them. Instead, Lisa advises installing a tension corner caddy to take advantage of the “awkward corner in your shower” and keep your shampoo and conditioner from crashing every time you step in. A wall-mounted basket is stable and useful as well.OXO Good Grips Quick-Extend Aluminum Pole CaddyThe thing we love most about this one is that there are small holes on the shelves, making it possible to store bottles upside down. Never again will you have to wait for the last dregs of your shampoo to make their appearance. Quiet Town The Spot Shower OrganizerOkay, this one isn’t technically a corner caddy, but consider it a sibling. Installation is simple: Hang it over your showerhead or mount it on the wall. The strap length is adjustable, as are the crew of shelves and accessories. Have fun with your makeup organizersPutting on your makeup should be a fun part of your daily routine, and organizing the products should be no different. And there’s no sweat if you don’t have a medicine cabinet to tuck it all away. Counter space allowing, Ann suggests displaying makeup products in acrylic drawers. If you don’t have the room, put a lazy Susan inside your drawers or cabinets to allow for convenient storage and save yourself time when searching for what you need.Masirs Small Rotating Makeup OrganizerSmall and mighty, makeup brushes and your “going out” essentials will feel right at home here. The acrylic design is good for small table spaces as well—it’s clear footprint makes it look even smaller than it is. Sorbus Acrylic Cosmetics Makeup and Jewelry Storage CaseWhether you use this bestseller on a vanity or in a cabinet, its compact design is easy to transport when you need to dig into its contents. Keep your towels handyLast but not least on our list of bathroom storage ideas: towel storage. Towels are typically tough to store because of their thick material, variety of sizes, and daily use. Karine Bouganim, owner of Karine OCD, advises displaying towels on a towel rack or ladder to give them the hotel look and feel. “Matching towels–both color and texture–are a must,” she says, so it’s time to say goodbye to your mismatched towels.Hawkins New York Essential Towel BarWith six colors options (terra-cotta, black, ivory, mustard, olive, and peacock) and two lengths (16" and 31.5"), this design offers a touch of utilitarian style. Crate & Barrel Jackson Black Towel LadderWho knew towel storage could be so chic? Made of matte black iron, its four rungs are ready to handle bath towels, hand towels, post-shower robes, and any other linens you want within range. Source link

Source link
