Being newly stationed here in Alola means I'm constantly learning fascinating things. Apparently there are 'plants' which make energy based off the sun. Fascinating! A local resident has given me what they refer to as apples. I had one earlier (which you'd think a plant would want to avoid being eaten and would evolve in favor of that, but who knows) and it was rather good. Battlers of Rotomblr I'd appreciate some advice.

See, back home battling Pokemon isn't really a thing, considering Pokemon do not exist. We have Ultra Beasts instead, which are organisms adapted for extremely harsh environments, and are prone to stressed out, violent outbursts.

As far as I understand, regular Pokemon have a concept of not outright killing each other during battle.

Because Blacephalon is not a regular Pokemon, it does not have this concept.

I have no interest in battling particularly, but I keep having 7 year olds demanding I battle them and explaining that my 'Pokemon' would likely just kill their Caterpie is a lengthy discussion that is quite a hassle to have when I'm already 11 minutes late to something.

Do any of you have any advice for instilling this concept so I don't inevitably have to deal with a far worse far lengthier situation in the future?
