“The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), along with the Filipino working class and people, stands in solidarity with all democratic forces worldwide in their support of the revolutionary resistance of the Palestinian people as they mark one year in their fight against the aggression and occupation of their land by the US-supported Zionist forces in Israel.

The Party condemns the Zionist state of Israel for its indiscriminate and incessant bombing of homes and civilian infrastructure in Gaza. It has dropped thousands of tons of bombs, killing no fewer than 41,000 people, more than 27,000 of whom are women and children. At least 10,000 individuals remain missing and are believed to be buried in the rubble caused by the bombing. Almost the entire population of Gaza has been displaced, with over 60% of homes destroyed. Public utilities and medical facilities have almost completely collapsed. The people of Gaza, especially children, are suffering from disease due to hunger, as well as lack of clean water and sanitation. Even the news media, sympathizers, humanitarian agencies and aid are not spared from attacks by Israel.

The year-long bombing and occupation of Gaza represent a disproportionate response to the October 7, 2023 armed uprising carried out by the freedom fighters of Palestine. On that day, they mounted armed offensives against military bases and facilities of the so-called Israeli Defense Forces and took prisoners. This was launched by a broad array of resistance groups in Palestine, including Islamic forces (Hamas), the People’s Front for the Liberation of Palestine, as well as other democratic, armed and unarmed revolutionary forces.

The uprising, known as the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, aimed to resist the escalating oppression and political repression by Zionist Israel against Palestinians in Gaza and the Occupied West Bank. It now forms another historic chapter in the continuing struggle of the Palestinian people for national liberation and their right to self-determination.”

PLOT:

Cosmo is in the class below Wanda and admires the popular Fairywinkle girl from afar while his mother holds him back. Juandissimo is the new exchange student at CPPH and quickly becomes Wanda's boyfriend.

Wanda's twin sister Blonda is jealous and as Juandissimo turns her down, Blonda goes through a dramatic makeover and dyes her hair pink to look more like her sister and get Juan to like her. Wanda is quickly unhappy in the relationship and Juandissimo's constant vain self and breaks up with him. Blonda instantly changes back to her old, fabulous self and the two glamerous students have found each other.

Free from Juandissimo and the pressure of being one of the popular students, wanda changes her hip cheerleader style and lets her hair return to their natural swirls. She goes to the diner to think about her new life and literally bumps into Cosmo, noticing him for the kind, open fairy he is for the first time. Wanda and Cosmo are dating and marry after a few thousand years. They have a happy life with their job as Fairy Godparents with their human godchild Timmy.

Meanwhile, Blonda has become a famous acress in Fairywood and is convinced that she has everything her sister has not. But there are times when the soup opera star feels jealous of Wanda's simpler, but happier life. Juandissimo comes and goes, as he and Blonda are too much alike in their vain, temperamental personalities to stay together for long. After being chased home by reporters once again, Juandissimo is cooking and doing a horrible job of it, tipping Blonda over the edge. They fight once again.

But this break-up is different because they really miss each other this time and when Blonda is cast as a judge in the Fairy Idol singing contest, Juandissimo performs despite his poor singing voice to win her over. This time, they stay together and Juandissimo kicks out the reporters so they can have some relaxing in peace.

Psaumes 139:6 Quel extraordinaire verset de conclusion pour la première partie de ce psaume de David ! Après les craintes que la découverte de la connaissance totale que Dieu a de nous a suscitées ; après l’émotion qu’a produit la main de Dieu sur lui, un toucher d’amour et non d’écrasement, l’auteur David se sent dépassé. Il rend les armes. Cette double révélation de la toute-puissance et de l’amour de Dieu vis-à-vis de nous, face à notre péché, nous est difficile à comprendre, à concilier, car nous pensons en êtres limités. La science, le savoir, la connaissance de Dieu au travers de son amour sans limite, sont sans mesure, sans possibilité d’appréhension par nous. Aussi David, tout comme Paul plus tard, reconnaît et adore. With boastful victory declarations in 2023, the Armed Forces of the Philippines Visayas Command (AFP-VISCOM) inadvertently admits that the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), New People’s Army (NPA), and the entire revolutionary movement on Negros Island and the rest of the Visayas remain undefeated.

According to VISCOM’s fake news factory chief, Lt. Gen. Benedict Arevalo, in 2023 they initiated 82 encounters in Central and Western Visayas, but in reality these are mostly fake encounters aimed at justifying their crimes, including the brutal murder of National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) peace consultant Rogelio Posadas and cold-blooded killings of peasant families. Along with this, Arevalo boasted of clearing communities and dismantling organizations which meant de facto martial law in the countrysides.

However, Arevalo could not hide the truth of the failure of his leadership and tried hard to sugarcoat their frustration by claiming that “there is still much to be done” and that “focused military operations will continue…as long as there are still unresolved issues, the threat of resurgence will remain.” 

In fact, the other side of maintaining costly military operations purportedly to quash the NPA is that this is a source of military corruption. The AFP will lose a huge milking cow, not to mention endure utter humiliation, if they declare “total victory” over the NPA.

As the AFP is pressured into becoming cannon fodders for the increasing threat of an inter-imperialist war on Philippine shores, it is to be expected that Arevalo will continue shoving similar hallucinations. And yet, their unspeakable crimes against the people, under superficial terms of “internal security operations” and the like, will continue to wreak state terrorism. Unwittingly, however, this will only make the people’s war persevere. While the socioeconomic crisis continues to worsen day by day, the people will fight. Crisis generates resistance, and oppression fuels the revolution.
