The revelation about Delilah and Laudna’s souls being entangled and making resurrection difficult adds an interesting, if unintentional, element to the fateful coin flip from episode 34.

Obviously Ashley didn’t know about it, and Matt couldn’t have influenced the coin toss, so it was entirely a matter of the dice gods writing the plot, but of course the Changebringer told them to save Orym. She knew they were risking bringing a great evil back into the world if they tried to bring Laudna back without proper precautions, but Orym was a simple resurrection and could help them save Laudna.

I’m. So fucking glad that I tuned in to tonight’s CR just in time for the revelation that FCG has a soul, he’s alive, and his sudden realization that- oh god, he matters, he has to live. Sure he’s already been living, but it’s different now that that life has value.

Just. god, the joy and hope and horror and “I’ve seen all of you living and it looks… hard” and it is hard, the rest of them immediately tell him, but it’s just the same as what you’ve been doing already, and of course you matter-
