i like to think before they ‘died’ legally, phoenix stayed in a small studio apartment while they worked with the agency. very messy and never cleaned. they’d always be so tired from work they’d get home and pass out on the heap of blankets on their shitty mattress. home sweet home!!! nothing but dirty plates, glasses, half filled bottles & ashtrays scattered around the room. maybe a few barely surviving plants

My new room is almost the exact same size as the one I had in the old apartment but having a closet I can actually walk inside and replacing all of my furniture has been fucking life-changing.
