Do you have any dsmp headcanons about cooking? Like who do you think would be good at it, who do you think would be bad, who is only good at one type of food, etc

Okokok so I think cTommy is a hyena, and in turn he scavenges his food, most often she goes to her friends and eats days old leftovers. Sometimes even the foods that are left in the back. Moo also doesnt cook often as well, whilst he is a pretty decent cook due to the scavenger nature of Hyenas she just prefers to eat food rather made by other people or leftovers. Due to this moo quite often makes one large batch of food to eat over a while, so he can still calm her instincts and still have healthy foods.

One the opposite hand Ranboo cooks and bakes everything. Quite often they make foods and make them look like leftovers so Tommy can eat them. They usually make dishes for everyone they love and its some sort of a love language. They often hold large dinners so they can just make food for people. They have perfected so many recipes due to this and even have their own special dishes (e.g Potato and beef stew for Techno, Micheals own mushroom cake)

I was just reading this post about how to be such an annoying fake boyfriend that your fake girlfriend's religious parents are relieved that she's actually gay and there was a section about annoying pet names and they suggested "my liver" or "my little cabbage"

AND I THINK CTUBBO WOULD ACTUALLY USE THOSE

idk if he'd do it sincerely or just to make cRanboo suffer but I absolutely think he would somehow find a way to use awful and off-putting pet names like that it would be so funny and anyone else in the vicinity would be so confused and concerned

OH ABSOLUTELY “my little chunk of nuclear waste” “my little sewage rat”

And Ranboo gets all flustered and warm every time no matter how strange of a pet name it is. 10 out of 10 times he acts like he’s just been called “my beloved” which only motivates Tubbo to keep finding weirder things to call them

Ranboo reciprocates once (my little lab experiment) and Tubbo gets so flustered that Ranboo actually feels a little bit bad, but Tubbo gets them back later by calling them his little used teabag (which causes Ranboo to drop the mug he was holding, much to their distress and Tubbo’s delight)

Okay so @simplepotatofarmer 's anon reminded me of some ideas I have about piglin Niki :3 (and a lot of my own piglin lore tbh lol)

Tusks! I like the idea that all adult piglins have tusks - to help root for mushrooms, maybe to play fight (or actual fight), stuff like that - but Niki kept hers filed short while in (L')Manburg in order to not be seen as super threatening. But now that she's in the syndicate they're growing out again and look pretty fearsome.

Head-bonks in place of snout kisses! Pigs apparently boop each other with their snouts in order to express affection but I highly doubt either of these two would let just anyone get that close to them. So instead they bonk their heads against one another, or on their shoulders, or whatever, and it absolutely scares the shit out of cRanboo because he's Never Expecting That.

Her tail is different from Techno's - mainly it's longer and the tuft of fur at the end is trimmed shorter than Techno's - for aesthetic reasons and also to keep it from catching on stuff. (As any piglin knows having your tail fluff get thorns in it is a whole mess).

She has hooves like Techno's but they're a bit weaker from wearing shoes over them for a long time (to try and blend in with humans more) but she's also growing them out a little and walking without her shoes to build up tolerance. She hasn't quite gotten to the whole walking-over-bare-neatherrack bit but she's close.

GOLD. Piglins love gold. They exchange gold as a form of friendship and companionship. Techno and Niki have exchanged so much gold to the point that if either of them tried to wear all of their gifts they would be weighed down so much and unable to move. It's become customary for the both of them to exchange it when they meet up.

Ummmm erm idk to be honest. Sometimes I just like to imagine my blorbos meeting and getting into situations yknow!

Like Pearl and cTommy meeting in double life would be crazyyyy because a) it would be horrible for cTommy and b) I think Pearl would make cTommy her new pseudo-Tilly. Ummm for D20… I just loved the thematic parallels between Ylfa and Pearl even though they’re SUPER different characters.

Speaking of Ylfa, I think she has a habit of trying to save people and characters that are looked down on, and thought of as evil. So I think she’d DEFINITELY be trying to save cTommy and Pearl. cTommy would treat her exactly like cRanboo tho and be abrasive as shit til he opened up.

Do you know what I always found messed up?

That Puffy and Foolish to people who have on several occasions seemed like trusted adults to Micheal. In fact he played with Foolish Jr, and probably knows Foolish as the guy built his house!

What I always found messed up, but people didn’t seem to talk about, is that it was Foolish and Puffy who led people to the location that Micheal was at.

It was them both who showed to Sapnap and George who taunted, mocked and threw eggs at Micheal.

Micheal a small kid who was trying to protect himself. It was extremely sad to me.

And the worse part? Neither Foolish nor Puffy should have had canonical reasonings why they would do that. Especially, when they of all people should have understood why that’s wrong considering they have children of similar age to Micheal.

Anyways the Dsmp had some messed up things in it that never got resolved RIP.

Hopefully Qsmp does a better job

Let's be honest here Anon, most characters got character assassinated by their own CCs by the end of the dsmp. cSapnap, cBad, cPuffy, cFoolish, cWilbur, cDream, cPunz, cTubbo, cRanboo, and even my boy cTommy, though I'm still not sure how much of the finale was actually ccTommy's idea.

It was an absolute mess by the end with no care put in it. There was no passion, no respect for the content or the audience who straight up made those guys' whole careers.

Because, like, you make a good point. Neither cFoolish nor cPuffy had canonical reasons to do any of that. But neither did cSapnap or cGeorge. It made no sense. They just resented the audience for caring about something they made and wanted to "punish" the audience for it. Or at least that's what the later lore felt like. It was genuinely a steaming pile of shit.

Some characters managed to hold on longer than others. Some CCs had irl reasons why their lore went to shit (like ccNiki who very much got sidelined even when she tried to do her own thing), but ultimately for most I'd say the biggest problem was a lack of care and a lack of behind the scene communication and cooperation.

As for the QSMP, from the little I've seen it's doing much better. Though, ngl, I've mostly watched clip comiplations and only very recently caught a bit of a couple of streams (a bit from Tubbo yesterday and the ending of Bad's stream today). And I don't speak any of the languages CCs speak aside from English, so following fully is very tough. I'm grateful for the people on youtube who subtitle their clip compilations because otherwise, it would be incredibly inaccessible for me.

That said, as I mentioned, from what I've seen it looks like they're doing better. There is heart behind those characters. Heart behind that story. I don't feel like the CCs resent the audience for caring either, because it looks like they themselves give a fuck about what they're doing. There are also admins, and a whole crew behind it to help it all feel much more complex and interesting. (Which is something they could have done with dsmp too if ccDream ever gave a single shit).

I don't know if it'll eventually go to shit or if they'll manage to keep it fresh enough to avoid that like series like Hermicraft and the Life series have done, but for now I'm rather hopeful.

dsmp characters as valo mains

my credentials are im iron 3 and watch a shit ton of foolish and etoiles valo streams :) based on fighting styles mostly cause i. love thinking about their fighting styles

ctommy - gekko creatures! so many creatures! also i feel like he would want the spike every round and be the first to peak every corner.

ctubbo - cypher very sneaky. teammates just give him half of the map to hold by himself. always by himself despite not having any offensive util. still carries every game best agent i love you!!!

cranboo - phoenix self-sufficient kit, also able to provide cover for teammates. still manages to bottom frag every game.

cwilbur - killjoy ho16 is some shit only a killjoy main would pull. setting up some cringe lineups and playing offsite so you don't actually have to shoot your gun. also the ult is clearing an area of the map without killing anyone which is basically plan bomb.

cquackity - brimstone sorry cq but im giving you brim cause ive never known a brim main that was good at the game. completely dogshit always all they do is sit in corners with a shotgun. just play support and whiff your ult like you're supposed to.

cdream - chamber controversial but like. its an agent dependent on accuracy and playing cringe and being toxic. got a massive nerf and is now unplayable.

cpunz - sage cpunz is literally dreams pocket sage. ult is a resurrection. both a support character and an offensive character.

ctechno - raze kaboom i mean. what do you want me to say. high damage good movement. requires you to be good at the game. teammates take him for granted and enemies hate his ass.

cphil - sova dogshit agent with horrible util but if you're in a 1-v-1 with him you are losing. snipes you clear across the map and then all his teammates come and fuck your shit. super non toxic which just makes you hate him more.

cniki - skye generally regarded as support character until they have to clutch a 1-v-5 because their teammates all suck and then they clutch the fuck out of it. this is my main hi niki nihachu !!!

cschlatt - reyna weird pick but reyna doesnt really have any abilities if you arent killing people but if you are its super strong. very imbalanced its either you are dying first every round or hitting an ace.

csapnap - omen every time i see someone be really good at omen i wonder why they arent playing a good agent instead. which reminds me of csap. pls just play yoru or something

csam - deadlock cause prison warden get it??? hahah. deadlocks use all their abilities on one person and still they end up killing her cause shes a terrible agent. L

cponk - breach in theory super strong but in practice i always wish i just had like. anyone else.

cjack manifold - KAY/O i almost forgot you just like i always forget KAY/O exists. even when theres a kay/o on my team i forget about it. also robot hc.

cslime - viper slime goop. falls apart whenever anyone actually attacks them but crucial for the team.
