Hey there! I've been meaning to ask this but how are the rest of toon gang doing??? I noticed we haven't seen them in awhile. Do they realized that Ms.Blythe has been kidnapped by Julius and they're trying to look for her??? Or are they still at that party??? Or did they perhaps just gotten way too drunk/high from that party to realize that she's missing??? Sorry if this is way to many questions. Feel free to ignore this if it's too overwhelming. On another note I really love your art by the way. I just just love how you made each character pretty buffy and handsome. I think that's a very unique take when it comes to drawing these crazy, zany, wacky, silly, but adorkable characters. It just makes them look all the more charming and incredibly handsome. Kinda like actual men from the 20s/30s. I always swoon a bit whenever I see a drawing from your blog regarding any of the toon guys. new parody oc story idea

Romeo-kun and Juliet-senpai

1 normal guy, 25 crazy girls

College first-year Romeo Adachi is a generic boy, studying to be a male witch, with a complex about his first name. In a crazy world filled with magical life forms, Romeo has no special features. Juliet Oyamada, a catgirl who is a year older than him, also has a complex about her name….

One day they meet, and end up hating each other. Then they find out each other’s first name… and chaos ensues.

Romeo and Juliet hate each other, but can’t seem to ever be separated. Especially since their families want them to get married because of their “star-crossed names.” (Even though in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the two families hated each other. Oh the irony!)

At the hidden magic college they go to, only 10% of the current student body is male. Romeo has a long time crush on the cheerful and sporty fox fauna girl, Ashley.

In Romeo’s class, there are 5 boys and 25 girls.

Romeo is an extremely plain guy surrounded by 25 crazy magic girls of all kinds of tropes. This manga is kind of a parody and the tropes are played with.

The world is a magical version of Earth. The school is a college campus that teaches magic, and is a very zany school filed with dungeons and secret rooms. There is also an adventurous twist in the story. Eventually.

The girls also all seem a bit bisexual.

A fauna is a person with animal ears and a tail.

The characters are as follows…

Tsundere girl with twintails- Juliet Oyamada the catgirl. She is messy, aggressive, bad-mannered, but has a good heart… and is surprisingly cute. She has orange hair in wavy long twintails.

Genki tomboy who loves sports- Ashley, Romeo’s initial crush and childhood friend from late elementary. A fox girl who is chaotic, uncouth, loud, deranged. She has boyish red hair.

The modest everygirl- Ichigo the dog fauna who has a crush on Romeo. Has been friends with Romeo since early high school. She has short pink hair.

Most adorable girl ever- Tomona the alien. She has pink skin, black hair, and antennae-like alien ears. Very innocent. She says “boop” after everything.

Shy nerdy book girl- Kyoko the cyclops. Kyoko is quiet, but knowlegable a wide range of subjects. She reads everything she can get her hands on. She cries easily, but hates to do so because a cyclops crying with one eye as is deemed a spectacle of sorts.

Mysterious pretentious girl- Daphne the reptile fauna dragon girl. She fakes being mysterious, basically.

Sassy gyaru girl- Leigh the bunnygirl. Leigh is confident and a bit loud, but kind and quite intelligent. She wears the gyaru fashion style and is a dancer. She is half-Uruguayan.

Masculine fighter girl- Kirara, centaur with an unfitting cute name. Kirara has a shaved head. She does martial arts, and can do a few extra moves due to being a centaur.

Dummy baka airhead girl- Hilda the chubby elfin girl. Hilda’s mind is always somewhere else. She also yells a lot. She is 4 feet and 6 inches. She is chubby.

Shy shrinking violet girl- Tasha the fairy. Tasha can shrink down to fairy size when she wants. She is very shy and doesn’t like to be seen, so it’s often. She is Black and has purple braids.

Sparkly cute idol girl- Aimi the android girl. Aimi was an android built to sing and dance, but she became sentient.

Normal tsukkomi girl- Amanda the harpy. Amanda thinks she’s the only normal person in this whole school. She constantly remarks when people are being Weird. She has a beak. 

Otaku girl- Hyorin, Korean fairy girl. She moved to Japan because she loves anime. Hyorin loves the yuri genre and secretly loves girls herself… She even has two moms.

Classy well-mannered girl- Etsuko who has 3 eyes. She also has lavender skin and horns. She is classy and strict, and cannot handle uncouth things and people.

Wild girl who causes mischief- Meiran, Chinese, undead monster girl. She is always causing mischief and yelling. And living live to the extreme. And yelling.

Genius stoic emotionless girl- Zoey the serpentine girl. Nobody knows what goes on in Zoey’s head, but it’s a lot.

Sweet sleepy girl- Sonya the cyclops monster girl. She has a comfy presence. Sonya can’t wink because she has one eye. She is prone to falling asleep.

Zany inventor girl- Ayana, giraffe girl transfer student from Tanzania. She wears huge nerdy glasses. She also has a long neck. Ayana is always yelling “eureka!” 

The mean queen girl- Minoru, called “Meanie” by boys, ghost undead. Minoru is your classic telenovela mean girl. Why is she so mean? What a snob.

Big sister girl- Urara is Kirara’s older sister and a centaur. Urara is very sweet, protective, and nurturing. She also gets into fights and kicks butt.

Tough punk sukeban girl- Nicole the wolf fauna. A lone wolf, who is similar to Miyu but doesn’t get along with her. They are rivals from opposing gangs. She has… you guessed it, a soft spot for cute things.

Yankee gang girl- Miyu the horned banshee. She is from an opposing gang to Nicole and clashes with her. She is always yelling and is very uncouth.

Goth musician girl- Rune the android alien girl. She loves to rock, demonic style.

Clumsy girl- Anisa the cheerful Indonesian Muslim deer fauna, a baker. She loves to cook but often spills her batter and trips over crumbs… But her cakes and cookies are usually delicious and filled with love… and sometimes random items she clumsily lost in the batter.

Edgy chuunibyou girl- Aurelia Xiomara Petrichor VII. A vampire. Yes, that’s her real name. She is pretentious and is a lord of the darkness.

The plain generic guy- Romeo Adachi. He’s so normal that it’s weird.

Obnoxious friend- Sugano the obnoxious yelling vampire. He is bald.

Handsome senpai friend- Kawamoto the sexy alien. He has a mustache.

Shy guy friend- Kizaki the ghost undead beaver fauna boy. He is soft.

Manly muscle guy friend- Nitta the fat bear fauna guy. He has a beard. He is gentle but kind of strange sometimes. Lots of muscle.

Eccentric teacher- Emma Hoshimi the art teacher is zany and eccentric

Shy teacher- Sori Lee the science teacher is always messing around in the chemistry room and causing explosions. She is very shy though.

Strict teacher- Kasey Elmer the math teacher is usually fed up with students. And life.

Protective teacher- Kendra Wilson is a nice teacher who cares deeply about the students, isn’t afraid to break up fights and get to the bottom of problems.

Romeo’s loyal mutt dog- Miso the brown shaggy dog. He looks like a bear.

An adorable cat who says “nimu nimu”- Poco is a blue cat! 

A flying pig- Spot the winged pig can fly.

A little dinosaur- Toothy the little T-Rex.

A cute dragon- Garnet is an adorable dragon and a school pet.

A cute little mascot creature- Konamon is Juliet’s mysterious creature pet. Nobody quite knows what he is, exactly.

OC-Tober 2022 Day 1: Childhood

i could have gone with a bunch of things but this is an idea for a cover of a comic thats still on my mind but i might have to re-develop again, i need to make Hydro (thats his nickname i dont remember his real name again) weird again. "Crazy Kids" was one of those ideas you get while you shower and youre like 13 and your idea of cool things is like sci-fi post apocalyptic anime trio and you watched too much invader zim type of deal, just zany for the sake of it, just edgy for the sake of it, but theres something that stills pulls me toward it.

Not all of these are direct inspirations- some of them are characters that in hindsight reminded me of Storm and now I can’t help but think of them in relation to him. Further details about each one under the cut! (it’s a long one because Idk how to shut up)

1- The GUN Truck. Yes this is not a character but it was a very direct inspiration to Storm as he is now SHDGSH. Storm started out in a main verse that was more of a mix of the games and Sonic SatAM. And then a bit later on, on iScribble (houghhh) a RP got started where OCs worked for GUN. So I made an ‘Agent Storm’ au for Storm. He was more chaotic and zany than his then-main verse counterpart- since this RP started out as a shitposty chat RP. The Sonic Generations trailer that showed off the insane GUN Truck with the buzzsaws had also recently come out, so I decided to make his role as the person insane enough to drive that thing.

As time went on the silly little chat RP ended up having actual serious plots, and as ‘Agent Storm’ developed I ended up liking him much more than his then-main verse version, so he ended up becoming the new main-verse.

I don’t think he’d quite be what he is now if it wasn’t for that initial bit of ‘who would be crazy enough to drive that truck. With the buzzsaws specifically. THIS GUY’

So now whenever I see that truck I also can’t help but think ‘MY BLORBO IS DRIVING THAT!!!’ I’ve cursed my friends with these same thoughts towards it HSGDHSGD

2- Edward Elric- They’re shorter than those around them and angry about it, smart (though Storm keeps that on the downlow) and they’re little shits that have actually experienced too much at too young an age. Fight-wise they’re both good at making plans on the spot, and get in trouble that leads to a broken prosthetic too often. Though fortunately for Storm, he’s his own mechanic

How prosthetics work in FMA was a basis to how Storm’s own prosthetics work-including him needing one made of different materials in the winter. That was my favorite detail about it. I feel like other series didn’t really think ‘that cool robot arm/leg is metal and it’s connected right to the flesh- that’s not a good combo for winter’- I didn’t think of that until FMA either because I was too lost in the ‘robot arm cool’ sauce

Lastly Storm also has a tendency to befriend his enemies- which is in general a shonen trope I know, and not the last one that can apply to him

3- Mugen-Like Ed, he is a lil shit. But a lethal lil shit-- not that Ed couldn’t be, he just avoids that. Storm does also avoid it when he can, so he’s more like a mix of the two. Can be very lethal, largely avoids it, but Will kill if he sees it as something he has to do

I watched Samurai Champloo in a period where I was trying to figure out how to write fight scenes and what kinda fighting style Storm’d have- Mugen is a skilled swordsman that starts shit fully confident he can finish it (and often does), with people falling for any bait he sets because they underestimate him due to how undisciplined he acts. All these can be applied to Storm- and the most direct inspiration was how he fights by incorporating breakdancing in his moves whether he’s using a sword or not

4-Rocky- I made Storm a bit before I started reading Lackadaisy. But once I started reading it, he was one of those ‘oh man he reminds me of Storm so much. How did I make such a similar character omg’ situations. Cheshire grin cats that are magnets for trouble, and get into things they prrrobably shouldn’t. Goofs in the kinda businesses you wouldn’t expect, honestly

This is a more recent development but- for years I wouldn’t be able to find any kinda voice claim for Storm. I’d find ones for the very rare cases where he gets really serious, but nothing for ‘this is what Storm sounds like on the regular’

Until the voices for the upcoming Lackadaisy short animation got shown off. And Michael Kovach’s performance finally hit that ‘THATS IT THATS THE VOICE!!!’ spot. Like just imagine Rocky speaking with a southern accent and you have the way Storm’d speak

I can’t believe we’ve come full circle

5-Deadpool was a very direct inspiration for how Storm started out as ‘Agent Storm’. He was the ‘comedy relief guy’ in his unit, much to their annoyance, but he was still lethal. He seems to have no ‘mute’ button, and will crack jokes even in big dangerous situations. Storm dual wielding both guns and katanas at the time was because of Deadpool. And while ‘guy that can be either a hero or a villain depending on who you ask, works by his own set of morals that no one knows, maybe not even him’ kinda developed on it’s own, it probably still was my brain drawing bits and pieces from that initial Deadpool inspiration.

6- Wander. This is 100% one of those ‘in hindsight these characters are so similar in some ways’ and this year when I re-watched WoY I couldn’t help but think of Storm, especially with the development of his friendship with @cyanide-coffee’s V. They’re both fuzzy lil universe traveling guys that are best friends/family with a grumpy gnc horse lizard that can and will kill for them HSGDSHHD

While Storm isn’t such a pacifist and in fact LOVES to fight, at his core he just wants to help people where he can, sometimes to his own detriment. And sometimes it comes in the form of him annoying people with attempts to be friendly @ them.

And deep, deep down, buried and hidden away, that desire to help people when they need it comes from a scared little kid that needed some help of his own

(No I’ll never recover from that episode, why do you ask)

Bio: She is a ferocious, wild and hyper scavenger who loves hunting animals of any size, mud wrestling and playing games. Her dumb death is that she got scratched and mauled by a wild tiger when she threw her spear at the tiger's rear causing the tiger to get mad at her but she luckily survived the attack. She also has lacerations on her legs underneath her bandages. She also has stitches, scars and scratch wounds all over her body, her wounds are also bleeding as well as mud splotches on her body. She also wears long fingerless gloves and orangish-gold bracelets. She was found in the jungle by her BFF Cilantro and she also currently resides in Dumbville but she has struggles to get along with modern civilization.

OOF, this is a hard one because Raph has had so many great moments throughout his canon in all the various media types. There is also the problem of spoilers because some of the comics stuff is newer and not well known and the comics are not only crazy but sometimes dark, like real dark. The original mirage run did not shy away from being both zany AF but also depressing as hell and the newer IDW stuff (WHICH I HAVE NOT FINISHED) would be HEAVY spoilers so like imma do a readmore ok? I am not kidding spoilers for IDW ahead!

In IDW Raphael is separated from his family from the begining and is essentially homeless after the homeless person who was caring for him was murdered in front of him. He had no memory of his family or his mutation or anything of his life. It took finally meeting and saving Casey for him to find his lost family.

This early separation and struggles made for a very different Raph and I have been adding bits of that lone wolf (emphasis on lone) aspect to him. If you notice he does live alone and only mentions his family in passing. There is something dynamic about being alone that I feel adds a richness to his character and created a slightly different but still recognizable raphael.

Bad Ensign, which, despite being rated T, introduced the Bad Ensign sex game into the Trek fanfic universe — much to my pride and delight (if anyone wants to join the Bad Ensign party, please do!).

The Halo Effect, a post-Endgame Kathryn Janeway/Tom Paris story in which our heroes, somewhat unexpectedly, fall in love and find happiness together.

Tuvok’s Secret, a little Kathryn Janeway and Tuvok friendship crackfic in which Tuvok trusts one person onboard to keep his secret.

The Nest Between Them, which shares my take on how the Seven/Raffi handhold at the end of Picard season 1 may have come to be.

Yes! I respond to comments because I like to thank people for commenting. It’s so nice when readers reach out to say kind things about my stories, so I like to let them know I appreciate it.

what’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Oh, man. I’ve written a lot of angsty endings. Maybe What You Feel is What You Are and What You Are is Beautiful, a Janeway/OC story (and my first E fic 🙈) that I wrote upon request and was really, really tough to end.

do you write crossovers? if so what is the craziest one you’ve written?

I write crossovers within the Trekverse. The craziest that I wrote unprompted is probably Asunder, in which Gegen (the dinosaur scientist from Distant Origin) and a grown-up lizard baby go in search of Kathryn Janeway and Tom Paris, with Geordi La Forge tasked by Starfleet to find the two officers who disappeared years before. There’s obscure TNG canon in there about warp fields damaging subspace, plus obvious Threshold zaniness and I honestly think the whole thing holds together (though I do feel a bit like the crazy-eyed-guy-with-ribbons-connecting-pictures meme right now).

have you ever received hate on a fic?

Not really, no.

do you write smut? if so what kind?

If we’re calling “sex” smut, then yes, I do — the healthy kind that entails valid self-expression and love. (Every so often not that kind, but usually.)

Yes! In addition to the fun mentioned by @procrastinatorproject in her post, I co-wrote with @cnrothtrek and @gijane-7702 the fic Long Nights on La Sirena — a purposefully silly look at how sexual knowledge Seven assimilated could benefit Raffi (and lovingly irritate the rest of the La Sirena crew). Good times.

what’s your all time favorite ship?

I really don’t know.

what’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Eh. I’m sort of lukewarm on all of my WIPs right now. I’m waiting for a really good idea, I guess.

what are your writing strengths?

Word economy. World-building. Details.

what are your writing weaknesses?

I’m a big believer in “trust your reader,” but I sometimes take that too far and don’t explain things that I think are clear (but are, in fact, clear only to me). I’m working on figuring out when to explain and when something doesn’t require explanation.

what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

The few times I’ve done this in an actual other language (not copy and paste Klingon, for example), I’ve been fortunate to be able to find a native speaker beta. I think that’s best.

what was the first fandom you wrote for?

Star Trek Voyager.

what’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

I am grateful to have written all my stories, but I have two favorites:

I’m really proud of The Monster. That fic has a lot stacked against it — rare pair (Kathryn Janeway/Raffi Musiker), modern AU, etc. But I think the theme about the strength and validity of love works well, and wouldn’t be as powerful with another pairing in another context. It was fun, too, to include other characters from across the Trekverse to see how they would fare in 1990s New York City.

I’m really fucking proud of The Autobiography of Kirsten Clancy. Yes, she had all of three scenes, but she’s the most powerful woman we’ve ever seen in Starfleet, and I needed to chart a possible course for how she became Commander in Chief. I wanted her to have a true 24th century Starfleet life, full of love and adventure and duty and bravery and all the rest. And I truly think I gave it to her — and fell in love with her universe along the way.

Sugary Sweet is one of the Mighty Dexteras. She is a cheerful, upbeat and optimistic girl who loves to see people being happy. She is somewhat of a pacifist as she shows kindness and mercy to everyone, be they fellow Dexteras or evil Sinistras. She loves to cheer people up when they're sad and often tries to befriend those who fight her. Her finishing move, "Flower Power" is simply her offering a flower to her opponent in a sign of showing mercy. If she is successful, she proceeds to hug her opponent, causing them to be pinned. She is Sickly Sour's little sister.

Sickly Sour is one of the sinister Sinistras. He is a zany and crazy boy who's rough and tough with his opponents. He likes to crush his opponents by destroying them in physical contact and humiliating them. His finishing move, "Warhead", is butting the opponent's head so hard to cause an explosion. While he is rough and tough, the only person he cannot bear to fight against is his little sister, Sugary Sweet, even if she is a Dextera.
