*screaming*
*continued screaming*
Okay. So. My introductory Visual C# class.
The professor for that class was Alice. Alice was the person who spoke in the introductory video and the person who we were supposed to email if we had any issues.
But all of the assignments, lectures, and quizzes were written and delivered by Bob. On the youtube channel "Bob's programming academy." The quizzes included Bob's name, like "if you do X will it return the string ProfessorBob, Professor, Bob, or Professor.Bob?"
This class was really frustrating for me because it was structured in such a way that you could easily pass the class with zero knowledge of the subject - it was totally based on quizzes that you could take an unlimited number of times and we *had* weekly programming assignments but they weren't graded so there was no incentive to do them (and look, if I wanted to teach myself programming with no incentives I could fail for several years to do that on my own, I don't need to pay fifty bucks a unit for that; the reason I am in a *class* and am not self-taught is because I need external motivation. That's why I sought out a class).
Also when there *was* a problem with an instruction that was unclear in one of the videos for the assignments, or if I thought I'd done something correctly that was very much incorrect, it wasn't Alice who had created the instructions, it was Bob - in 2017 no less - and I didn't really feel like I could ask Alice for help with an ungraded assignment that she hadn't written.
So. Now. My Python class.
Today is the first day of class. Professor is Charles.
I go to the mandatory attendance quiz and it is word-for-word the same mandatory attendance quiz as the C# class, down to the final question "what is your personal email address so I can keep in contact with you after the semester?"
I look at the syllabus.
Class grade is based on quizzes. We have assignments but none of them are graded. There's no textbook, just a series of videos from Professor Bob's Programming Academy.
So I'd been toying with staying at this school and trying to take more CS classes instead of going to another school, just to try to keep my records easier to manage, but since it seems like that *ENTIRE DEPARTMENT* is five Professor Bobs in a trenchcoat, I will probably be going somewhere else (and once again trying to force myself to do projects that I already know are *good for me to do* but *useless for the class and a massive time suck*)
I should drop this class. I should drop this class and apply for the other school so that I can start taking classes there in the spring because if I take this class and then go into the object oriented programming class in the spring and it's another professor bob sock puppet and I end up taking twelve units of programming classes where all I learn is how to google answers in a short time frame (something I already know how to do thanks) I am going to fucking lose it.
Also, again: I have a Bachelor's Degree. I spent five years at a community college when I was getting that degree. I took probably a dozen online classes starting in 2005 and going until 2011 in the process of getting that degree.
THIS bullshit, this "I'm your professor but actually I'm not and all the materials were created by someone else in the department or came directly from the textbook publisher and there is no writing and there are no assignments everything is multiple choice quizzes that are automatically graded" is *dogshit.*
This is NOT how online classes worked back in my day, not even online math classes, and as much as I know adjuncts are getting fucked over by academia in general, this isn't something that these professors should be getting paid as much as they are to do. Alice checked whether or not students turned in a hello world assignment and gave a pass/fail grades for three discussion boards that were responses to youtube videos. Nothing else in the class required her input. If this is the level of instruction that students are getting then the class is already automated and the students shouldn't have to pay for it.
This is crap. This is an incredible level of crap.

Cooked up some movie & TV h/cs...cuz I can
Overall
before the timeline of the movie, the monsters had a TV on occasions. This was a rare treat which lasted until the TV set broke on its own and couldn't be repaired or got destroyed
the monsters' rec area was like the hand-me-downs central; anything the staff didn't want or need anymore went to the monsters, from those playing cards to radios to whatever. It usually came from the trash heap for Dr C's meals
the 2000s brought a little variety as a lot of people at the base made the transition to DVDs and threw out their VCR sets and cassette tapes
after the post-freedom upgrade, the base set up on-demand entertainment for the monsters
for every streaming site, every monster has their own accounts. Except for Link & Butterflysaurus (or B) who share accounts
they can all agree on sit-coms and comedies, believe it or not, some film noir or some off-the-wall random movie
depending on the sport, they all like watching a good game
Susan
down for most anything anyone wants to watch
likes period and mid-century romance/dramas like Downton Abbey, Bridgerton, Call The Midwife, Mad Men, and anything based off Jane Austen's books
was a Twilight fan back in her teens and now cringes at those memories of being on Team Edward
chic flicks: Legally Blonde, Pretty Woman, The Notebook, Mamma Mia!, Audrey Hepburn movies. Titanic and Moulin Rouge! are both fully capable of making her cry almost every time. This is a very good reason why she has her own streaming accounts
can make it through most horror movies but doesn't really enjoy them
roots for all sports teams from Cali
the only monster most willing to watch whatever BOB wants to watch
liked watching cooking shows and DIY tutorials when she was small. She'll still watch them sometimes inspite of the fact she can't easily cook or pull off most DIYs
BOB
the kids' page on streaming sites & YouTube Kids all the way!
has the kid's tendency to watch the same thing over and over again and never get sick of it
the other monsters can't watch adult films and shows with him. He'll ask questions like, what's going on during a bedroom scene or "What's a [enter any profanity of your choice here]?". He's also a parrot who will mindlessly repeat a single swear word he only heard once
sometimes you'll find him watching random stuff like a Malaysian talk show or a Julia Child cooking tutorial or some abstract silent film
you know those kids' shows that interact with the audience, like Mr. Rogers, Blues Clues, & Dora the Explorer? Yeah, he REALLY gets into them
had a kids tablet for about two weeks but then accidentally ate it. Monger hasn't had the heart to give him another one
Dr C
his pastimes include lab experiments, reading books and science papers, playing chess (via a computer versus the CPU/another player online because no one at the base wants to play), and other mentally/intellectually stimulating activities, so he'll watch something if he wants and/or needs a mental break
the other monsters tried getting him into Big Bang Theory. To everyone's surprise, he didn't care for it
has BritBox
when he's chilling, he'll watch vintage/vintage-style musical movies, particularly with good dance numbers like Singin' In The Rain. One of his heroes in dance is Gene Kelly; Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers would've been on his list, but he hasn't had a skilled dance partner offhand since his college days
likes videos like Ted Talks and Infographics Show (YouTube). He may be the most brilliant man in the world but he knows there's always more to learn
his YouTube subscriptions include dance groups and science lecturers from around the world
doesn't care much for most sports but he'll gladly watch polo and a lot of the Olympics. Tried to pass the time by reading a book during a football game once, and Link said, "Doc, if you don't put that book down, I'll throw you and that thing in the trash!". Never again
Link
as mentioned in an earlier H/C post of mine, he's a closeted shonen anime fan and he'll watch anything but One Piece
football is his favorite sport to watch. He watches it when he can
NEVER misses Super Bowl Sunday. Or at least to the best of his ability. He was very disappointed when one of his missions happened on Super Bowl Sunday
also likes WWE
martial arts: always and forever, baby!
has watched both Luca and The Shape of Water. He doesn't mind them but he got pretty annoyed when people made comparisons between him and the Amphibian Man or the sea monsters. BOB was like, "Hey, Link! Why don't YOU turn into a human when you leave your tank?"
was into superhero movies and TV series in the 2010s but jumped off the bandwagon when he thought they were being overdone. Though he still likes Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool, and anything with Wolverine
thinks Star Wars, Harry Potter, and most other popular sci-fi/fantasy franchises are just for kids and nerds
doesn't care much for romances or most cartoons either
if something scares him or makes him cry, he'll try to hide it
it took him a while to be able to watch anything with Shrek after being mistaken for Shrek in the Halloween special
[a/n: I can also see him being a gamer]
Insecto/B
likes sports no thanks to Link
will watch most anything Link watches
likes some anime, particularly Sailor Moon for whatever reason
likes cartoon shows meant for older kids
doesn't like horror movies, has a hard time settling down or going to sleep after watching one
avoids animal/nature programs as some of them can be quite traumatizing
every now and then she'll be caught watching something with BOB like Bluey
Monger
watches the news every day
knows better than to believe everything he sees
watches a little M*A*S*H before bedtime at least twice a week
every now and then watches stuff like All in the Family just cuz he likes the comedic but logical political tension among the main characters
still has analog cable (antenna and all) at the farm
hates I Love Lucy because his wife had it on TV more than anything else
likes war films and a number of films about World War II. There's a few he won't watch tho because he thinks they're either badly made, too sentimental, or too depressing
likes comedies from the 1950s-60s
The President
likes watching himself on TV and videos online
likes talking smack to opposing politicians when watching videos of them, like, "In your dreams, bucko! Not while I'm large and in charge!"
comedies, comedies, comedies...and game shows
Simpsons fanboy
has an appreciation for daytime TV: long-running soap operas, talk shows hosted by middle-aged women, Judge Judy, Dr. Phil, etc.
considers the family sitting in front of the TV together as quality family time and sit-coms as an American staple
can't watch foreign language films with English subtitles. He eventually gets bored and falls asleep
as mentioned in an earlier H/C post, he doesn't trust biopics one bit. After finding out over half of The Greatest Showman was fictional, he lost faith in any portrayals of history both on screen and stage
Derek
liked watching famous news reporters and weather-folk as role models when he was a kid and as inspiration when he became a weatherman
took Susan and other girls he dated to the movies
if not at the movies, he and Susan would curl up on a sofa and watch something together, going back and forth between what he likes and what she likes
likes most sports, except basketball
Ted Talks, late night talk shows, and popular sit-coms
watches whatever catches his attention on Hulu and Max
had a very hard time watching anything with the monsters. Still does but it's not as hard anymore
Invisible Man
went to a few drive-in theaters with his wife on dates before and after they got married
Andy Griffith and Red Skelton were some of his favorite shows
yet he enjoyed some of the heavier and less lighthearted films, like Streetcar Named Desire. If he cried, he tried to not let anyone know
not much of a cinema-goer but he enjoyed taking his two older kids
liked what little he saw of The Carol Burnett Show while in prison
if he saw Mel Brooks' films, he would've loved them
von Wolfmann (my OC, a German wolfman and past monster, at Area 5X 1960-65)
having lived much of his 70+-year life away from society, he probably had no idea what TV & cinema were, let alone knew they existed
The Cyberian (my OC, a Soviet Russian cyborg and past monster, at Area 5X 1981-85)
TV became a bit of a staple in the Soviet Russian home over time, so there was a handful of shows that she liked throughout her life
she liked going to the movies with her dad/grandparents as a kid and teenager, a special treat
didn't like anything based off books. "Just read the book." She said. "No pictures but they're a lot more interesting than THIS sad piece of work"
thought period pieces were boring. More than once she fell asleep watching them
grew up with black-and-white TV, so she was excited the first time she saw color TV
learned some of her English from what little TV the monsters had and learned a bit about the USA and the world outside the USSR
probably would've been the only monster to have been a big fan of Star Wars and/or Star Trek

July Newsletter: Discounts, new Book of Judges and more
We’ve got news on the new edition of Judges, discounts, blogs and more this month
New Judges with more pages!
In September, we will be officially releasing the new version of The Book of Judges. This new edition features the NIV translation but also even more pages! Now, I know what you’re thinking but we didn’t add anything to the biblical text, we spread the existing panels over more pages making it so the pages are not so cramped and the illustrations are larger, we also lightened up the images as our first edition was very dark.
In this example below, the top left page is the original page, which becomes three pages in the new edition including two new panels and verse reference numbers in the corners.
If you can’t wait until September you can preorder it via the UK online shop and pay postage to your location and you’ll receive it before the official release. (Note: Kickstarter Backers of Song of Songs who added Judges will get this new version)
The new Judges graphic novel was showcased at the American Library Association Convention of over 10,000 librarians last month and this month will be at the Christian Product Expo in Kentucky.
Discount!
If you are ordering books direct from us (via the UK online shop), you can now get a discount when you spend £50+ you’ll get 25% off! Just enter the discount code FIFTYQUIDPLUS at checkout. Includes books, t-shirts and digital items!
(T&Cs: Offer works on direct purchases from the UK, not available on US and Canada domestic delivery which is handled by our distributors).
Patreon Hangout
On Saturday 15th July, we’ll have one of our Patreon Hangouts, a Zoom call between myself, some of the team and our patrons will be there to chat, answer questions and connect. The talk will likely be around the new title The Book of Acts which has started production but won’t be Kickstarted until next year. To get the inside scoop, see pages before anyone else and join us at the hangout, become a patron today:
The Gathering
We had a great time at the Gathering in June despite nearly melting in the sun. I did some sword training and we saw dozens of men make a first-time commitment or recommitment to Christ on the weekend. Welcome those that joined the newsletter at the event.
Blogs
I wrote a couple of blogs on the research I’ve been doing recently, I showed the top one to Dr. Mark Woolmer (our history consultant and history lecturer) and he said he’d have given me a First for the essay if it had been submitted in his class which made me happy
In this blog, I explore the question of whether the Golden Calf of Exodus was likely a statue of an Apis Bull?
https://www.wordforwordbiblecomic.com/blog/was-the-golden-calf-an-apis-bull
In this blog, I ask if Moses was tall.
https://www.wordforwordbiblecomic.com/blog/wasmosestall
Kickstarter Update
The creation of the Song of Songs is complete and the digital copies will be sent out to you very soon. They've had their first round of proofreading and corrections are being added. Once the second round of proofreading is complete will be sending it out, before the end of this month.
They'll also be heading to the printers in the next month or so in good time for delivery to backers by the end of November (or before). They will be released in shops in March 2024.
Prayer
Books in libraries: As you saw above our book was featured at the ALA con. Please pray with us that libraries really discover the benefits of the Word for Word Bible Comic and decide to stock them all across the USA. Spanish editions: We have some potential leads to getting distribution of our Spanish editions in Latin America and Europe. Please pray we can get these books into the hands of Spanish speakers very soon!
Technical issue: We have had some trouble with the ISBN registration on Amazon and other places for the new books. Some progress has been made since last time but please pray this is miraculously sorted out very soon so it does not hamper sales.

my journey into engineering is actually kinda unhinged
this is a trauma dump. i think. i think its trauma. well i certainly didnt enjoy a single bit of it
i might be slightly mentally disturbed from parts of it but im fixing that. its almost gone.
its not trauma. its only trauma in the tumblr sense. feel free to not believe any of this
right
so how it happened
i started in premed. did like 2 yrs
got brain damage. i was so scared i wouldnt remember shit, i started looking into a major that i didnt need to remember anything for
and then my school closed my major so i HAD to switch
and then my mentor since highschool chose the world over me so i went for the jugular with the pieces of my heart and walked away. i didnt have housing
and then i found housing. i ended up a stalker, and then with agirl who kept harassing me by diagnosing and trying to be a therapist ("your a narcissistic pedophile and thats ok. also youre nonbinary because women dont act like that"), and then all the asians got rounded up and locked up in a room because asians and black people are natural enemies (?????) so clearly the asians are stealing food from black students (dont ask me, i pretended to be egyptian and escaped). and then i lived with the woman who threatened to kill herself if i didnt move out and put bleach in my shampoo and recorded me showering. and then i finally finally finally lived with normal people. FINALLY
but this housing shit made me feel so violated, i just lived in the lab and i was so assmad about my mentor so then i helped literally every single student that ever needed help for CE and CS and i did this not only because i wanted them to be better than me, but also ego. i had like 5 mentees. i wanted to rub it in my own former mentors face that its so easy to be a mentor and not destroy your mentee. and then i destroyed a mentee by accident. and so to compensate i literally never went home after that and just slept in the lab and told people they could wake me up whenever
and then somehow because of this i graduated with highest honors and then blah blah blah + a few years now im here. and i have 2 more mentees. one of them is my brother. does it really count?
oh and also i guess random people live in my apartment sometimes because i accidentally offer places to anyone who says anything about a concerning housing situation.
tldr: 'commit to git or commit suicide'
and ig somewhere in there i attended 5 unis
all the bad stuff happened at the same one btw
i was homeless and i kept trying to sleep in engineering building but the janitor kept actively hunting me (hey FUCK you im a student you asshole)
ohhhhhh theres so much more.
i became a TA at some point and then lectured a class ? ????
and then I was a TA. and then a tutor ???
too many things happened
wait wait wait now that i think about it, what the fuck
i always told my highschool students "would you rather study or live real life" so true bestie so true. id rather study. thats why i didnt kill myself. engineering 4 life
oh shit yeah i got a policy changed in the applied maths department because someone tried to break my neck and kill me during one of the exams. hell yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah i got a D on the exam but an A in the class. it was online exam and tbf i kinda challenged the guy after he broke in. i dont think he wanted to kill me initially. im just very fucking annoying. good thing the professor saw it live. he would not believe this shit if he didnt see it. i didnt even scar from it. booooo. and the bystanders grrrrrrrrr they didnt even help.
my friend got murdered.
and hey you know what?? i have hair!!! i have all my hair!!! my body is healthy and i act like a normal human being!! and i like engineering! and i live a quiet and peaceful life now and i do research. EAT SHIT
FUCK YOU
I WIN. i am the only winner. dude i made it out of the shithole on top
i cannot believe for the life of me this school is still ranked well. my brother goes to school in the ghetto and there's gang violence going on all the time. and they dont have this kind of shit going on amongst the student body. what the actual hell is wrong with people

Some wonder if they need to study maths for CA and if it would be harder without a maths background. The truth is, anyone can pursue CA, regardless of their academic stream. However, students in the commerce stream often find it more suitable because of the alignment with their subjects, especially accounting.
Advantage in Accounting: Commerce students have an edge as their subjects match the content of the CA entrance test, giving them a strong foundation, especially in Accounting.
Maths in CA Foundation: For commerce students, having maths is like an added advantage, as it is a required subject in the CA Foundation exam. This makes the CA journey relatively smoother for commerce students.
Board Considerations: CBSE or ICSE board students, who usually include maths, are in a good position for CA. On the other hand, state board students have options in commerce, but those not choosing maths might need to put in a bit more effort during CA Foundation preparation.
So, although maths is not compulsory for everyone, having it, especially for commerce students, can make the CA journey more manageable. Board choices also matter, with certain boards naturally aligning better with the CA curriculum.
Science With Maths:
Students from the Science stream who have studied Maths in their 11th and 12th grades often choose the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course, bringing a unique perspective to this financial profession.
Advantage of Maths: The CA Foundation/CPT entrance test focuses a lot on Maths, giving a big advantage to Science students with a Maths background. They can handle Maths and Stats on their own, avoiding the difficulties faced by commerce students.
Self-Study in Maths and Stats: Science students, with a strong foundation in Maths, find it easier to tackle the quantitative aspects of the CA exam without relying too much on mentors or ICAI study materials.
Challenge in Law: Although Law is a challenge for every student, Science students feel more at home with subjects like Accounts and Economics.
Study Period for CA Foundation: Upon enrolling in the CA Foundation course, students get a generous 4-month study period. With proper guidance, this time is enough to grasp the remaining subjects.
Additionally, Science students with a Maths background use their math skills to excel in the CA entrance test, showing that the CA journey is not limited to commerce students. The 4-month study period provides a strategic window to master the diverse subjects of the CA Foundation course.
Science Without Maths:
Although it's not very common, some students from the Science stream who haven't studied Maths in their 11th and 12th grades choose to become Chartered Accountants (CA). This decision comes with its own set of challenges and successes.
Challenges in Accounts and Economics: Students from the Science stream without Maths may find it challenging to study subjects like Accounts and Economics, which are crucial in the CA curriculum.
Additional Struggle for Business Maths: Not having a background in maths adds an extra layer of difficulty, especially when dealing with subjects like Business Maths, Logical Reasoning, and Statistics in CA.
Despite the challenges, there are cases where Science students without Maths become successful Chartered Accountants, securing positions in esteemed companies with competitive packages. Success in this situation requires diligence and hard work, as students need to excel in all four subjects, compensating for the absence of a maths background.
Furthermore, while choosing to become a Chartered Accountant in India from the Science stream without Maths is less common and involves extra challenges, dedicated students have proven that success is possible through persistent effort and a strong work ethic.
4. Other subjects to become a Chartered Accountant in India:
While in college, students in the commerce stream often consider diverse fields like BCA, B.Com, and CA. Even after obtaining degrees like B.Com, some students opt for a career in CA, attracted by the opportunity to reinforce their accounting knowledge and enhance their self-confidence.
In CA classes during college, students come across subjects crucial for this field:
Mathematics
Accounting and Taxation
Financial Accounting
Banking and Finance
Insurance and Banking
Banking Management
Applied Economics
Business Economics
Insurance Management
Tax Procedure and Practice
Information Technology
Computer Application
Advanced Accountancy
Accounting and Finance
Information Technology and its Application in Business
These subjects help create a strong foundation of knowledge, setting the stage for a successful journey in the field of Chartered Accountancy in India. As you move forward in the Chartered Accountancy (CA) profession in India, the Accounting syllabus changes through three main stages: CA Foundation, CA Intermediate, and CA Final courses.
Let's take a closer look at the CA syllabus at each level:
CA Foundation: CA Foundation is the initial phase toward becoming a Chartered Accountant. The examination for the CA Foundation course occurs biannually, in June and December, under the administration of the ICAI. To enroll in the CA Foundation, students need to successfully complete the 12th grade or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. Additionally, commerce stream students are required to achieve a minimum of 50% marks in their class.
CA Foundation Syllabus:
Principles and Practices of Accounting
Business Law, Business Correspondence, and Reporting
Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Statistics
Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge
CA Intermediate: CA Intermediate is the next level in the Chartered Accountancy journey, comprising two groups, each containing four subjects. To be eligible for the CA Intermediate Exam, students must pass the CA Foundation Exam or hold a graduation degree.
CA Intermediate Syllabus:
Accounting
Corporate and Other Laws
CMA
Taxation
Advanced Accounting
Auditing and Assurance
Enterprise Information Systems & SM
FM Economics for Finance
CA Final: CA Final marks the concluding phase in the path to becoming a Chartered Accountant. To qualify for the CA Final level, students must successfully clear both groups of the CA Intermediate level and fulfill a minimum of 2.5 years of articleship training under a certified firm. The CA Final level comprises two groups, with each group containing four papers.
CA Final Syllabus:
FR
SFM
Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics
Corporate Laws and Economic Laws
SCM and Performance Evaluation
Electives
DT Laws and International Taxation
Indirect Tax Laws

(remaking the post because you can't edit polls and i gave the wrong options)
Alright I'm registering for classes and someone needs to talk me out of doing stupid shit but I'm unsure of what shit is stupidest.
Winter term:
I just finished an 8-week photo class that ended up being a huge investment in time just to go and shoot. However that was introductory photography and there is a 6-week intermediate photography class over winter term. I am signed up for photography. (Elective option for AA in Visual Arts)
There is also a 6-week introductory python course over winter term that I am signed up for and will be taking. I'm solid on that one, as long as I pass my C# class this term I'm going to be taking Python for 6 weeks at the beginning of the year.
Spring term:
College Chemistry Saturday class. 7am to 12pm for sixteen weeks. Lab and lecture; this school doesn't offer any chem classes that are after standard 9-5 hours during the regular week or that can be taken even partially online. Pretty sure I'm going to be stuck with this one and am configuring the rest of my schedule around being *less* miserable because of this class.
Survey of Western Art - Online, seems like a gimme. Does have a textbook but not one that I'm going to pay for. (Required for AA in Visual Arts)
2-Dimensional Design - Online, seems fun and like a gimme, Free/No textbook. (Required for AA in Visual Arts)
Object-Oriented Programming - Online, seems difficult, expensive textbook. Will probably be very necessary if I end up going down a more CS/tech path. Probably going to force myself to take this class.
Java Programming - Online, seems not unapproachable, expensive textbook. I don't particularly wanna but my school offers really limited options for computer science and I want to get what I can out of it before I go somewhere else.
Rationale for these weird combinations:
I'm applying as a nursing student at three schools and a biochem student at one of those schools (nutrition programs are apparently only for first-time students; 2nd Bachelor's applications are a lot more limited. I could apply to major in Francophone Studies at one of the schools though). Supposing I get accepted, these classes certainly won't hurt my status at any school that accepts me and the chemistry class is going to be really really necessary. This is the "i give a fuck about nutrition science and also directly helping people" path and if I go this way I'm interested in NP programs down the line. LOTS more school of the serious "I can't work and do this kind of school at the same time" variety.
If I *don't* get accepted to the programs I'm applying to, I'm going to go to a different community college and start working on a couple of AS degrees in computer junk (network admin and security management, computer and networking technology) and get some computer junk certs. I don't think I want/need a BS in compute science, this is the "practical" route of "I could finish this stuff pretty easily and continue working in a field where I have a lot of connections and familiarity with the industry but I am indifferent about a lot of it (pretty passionate about security and accessibility tho). Also allows me to keep working while I just churn school in the background, and all of the computer classes are transferable between the two schools.
Art classes: I think having multiple degrees is funney. I am currently 5 classes away from an AA in visual arts, at the end of this term I will be 4 classes away; if I take all the classes here and can take an elective over the summer I'll have a degree in visual arts. (There is a reasonable possibility that I'll continue taking bullshit classes behind the scenes to get silly degrees regardless of what happens otherwise)
Pretty sure the sensible thing is to drop *at least* photography and survey of western art and also possibly Java and 2D design. I'm somewhat concerned that if my spring term is just Saturday chem and object oriented programming I will start biting things.
