Do you think Kuro will attempt to make an app akin to Hoyolab again? I heard they once had one but it didn't go well or sth ...? Or at least it's not part of international stores 🧐 I'm really happy about wutheringlab, but it would be cool to have a combined app for wuwa and pgr

they do have kurobbs! despite only being available in one language (from what i can tell), you can actually download the apk by following the QR code on its main page

you can also open it in your browser instead-- wuwa's homepage is here

it would be nice to have it available in app stores in other languages and regions, but i don't personally foresee it happening particularly soon, especially with how much they seem to be putting detail/effort into the discord. if anyone else thinks otherwise though lmk! i'm not a long-time kuro follower or anything so i could just Be Wrong

regarding the sugar ‘n’ spice event ‼️

i’ve actually introduced a schedule for myself to help with the influx of requests (although majority of them are aly i’ve had a lot of anon requests specifically today - which i’m thankful for!! but i do have 30+ requests rn hshshs so keep that in mind if you wish to request right now)

i noticed i started a habit of posting a request in the morning and another in the afternoon/evening so that’s my current release schedule for prompts!! i’ll be posting two requests daily - morning & afternoon/evening so i can spread them out nicely and i’m not overloading myself or anything (or yknow, posting them all at once)

this isn’t that important but i figured it’d be nice for you to understand how i’m gonna be going forward with these requests !!

also note for those requesting wanderer/scaramouche: i write them separately (typically harbinger! scara and post-archon quest! wanderer) so be sure you specify which one of them you want <3 especially if you say scaramouche for wanderer or smth.

i’ve written MOST of a response several times but firefox has crashed and eaten all of them. the universe does not want me to talk about roadtrip fic, i guess. normally i’d’ve given up by now but for you, anon, i will keep trying!

i am medium likely to write roadtrip fic again, assuming – i mean, what is a “roadtrip”? is it

joy and jp in a fancy bus with six bunks and some people on the payroll and a bedroom in the back, sitting on the bench seat with coffee in the cup holders as they rumble down the highway

bruce and natasha in a surveillance van, or a ford pick-up, or a fucking slow freighter in the south china sea because he’s not real comfortable being in small enclosed metal spaces with a lot of people just now

ray and fraser on a dogsled, snowblind and windburned and they’ve known where the hand of franklin was for years now, but who cares?

james and thomas, having burned that fucking plantation to the ground and killed a few more people than they meant to and stolen a ship and the look on thomas’s face when he listens to james give a group of malcontents and miscreants and runaways an insane speech about self-determination

nick fury on a quinjet with natasha’s dead body, which isn’t really natasha, obviously, and everyone knows it, but no one else is worried about what’s going on. oh, she does this sometimes, they tell him, like he doesn’t already know that, like he can’t tell when something’s wrong.

han and leia on the falcon, running, fighting, hiding, fucking, looking for the thing. poe and leia on the falcon, doing it all again, the years and the knowledge a gravitational drag on leia’s heart.

if those things are roadtrip things, then maybe one day i will write them!

7 Up Writing Tag Game

An excerpt from the no longer secret Jiara SWATH AU for the Royals square from Jiara Bingo

At that very moment, Kiara dangled precariously from the apple tree, reaching as far as her arm and the fingers attached to it would stretch. The apple she snatched down nearly tumbled from her palm and took her with it, but she wrapped her arms around the sturdier branches and threw her head back, laughing at Pope’s sharp intake of breath and the exhale that followed it.

“I did advise caution,” he told her, shakily accepting the fruit. Kiara’s shoulder rose and fell, and she sat beside him, swinging her legs over the edge of the large branch they occupied.

“I did not fall, did I? Thus, I was cautious enough.”

Soon enough the apple is forgotten about, tossed to the ground by a startled Pope upon hearing the voice of his father calling for him. He and Kiara descended the tree quickly, scampering off before the call grew closer.

Spring turned to summer, and summer to autumn. With the fading of the light and leaves from the trees came the worst tragedy Kiara could fathom.

As every good thing must, the princess’ golden childhood came to an end.

I want to hope that these humble offerings might inspire others to give other ships a chance, too, or to try their hand at drabbles in general. If I didn't please you with my interpretation of a given relationship, I am sorry; perhaps someone else will give it a go or maybe I'll do another one of these parties in the future and do better -- maybe you'll even consider joining me then.

For now, this blog returns to its regular schedule of doctor superion drabbles posted on Friday, at least until the end of the year. For early 2024, I want to have the next oneshot ready for publishing and I'll be focused on that until it happens. In the meantime, I'll be loitering around Tumblr as usual and sometimes on Dreamwidth as well :)

rereading some of my ttw writing the other day brought the story more to the surface my brain again but my brain's not latching onto anything abt it in particular atm so it feels like the equivalent of having an animal or small child staring at you expecting something when you don't have anything for them
