When he took the job on the police force, he was chasing a lead and the pansy-ass cop training was a walk in the park after his stint in the Marines.
He considered the men in his squadron family but the cop camaraderie was unearned compared to going to battle in the desert with his brothers. It was familiar in all the wrong ways but he hoped to fuck he could make this 'tour' more successful than the ones in the sand.
The morning briefing ran long but he expected it considering three members of the day shift were in the hospital from his successful raid.
They deserved to be dead, but Daredevil loved to crash Frank's plans and while intensive care wasn't murder, it was too too similar to torture for his tastes. He was trying to be more decent and mercy wasn't a sin.
Horny red bastard was a fucking menace, like sand in his boots in the fucking desert - annoying and unescapable. Frank didn't have a problem with the guy trying to keep his borough safe - that's what Frank was doing! - but he did have a problem with him chasing him like a shadow. A sexy shadow, but - anyway.

"Do me a favor, Frank. Don't be a wallowing asshole. Before I have to take this fake leg off and beat you to death with it. " -Curtis Hoyle
Prismacolor four color portrait as usual. It's been an interesting challenge to restrict myself four colors and I'm pretty happy with how these portraits have come out. Two/ maybe three portraits left in this series.
Curtis deserves a long vacation far away from New York.
