Moon 205-Newleaf

Unfortunately, Cragpaw (8) could not beat greencough and died.  The young cat had been doted on by the Clan and they are sorry to see him go.  Creekstar (59) is especially broken up.  Yet another cat has died on her watch.  Is she truly that bad of a leader?  If a star-blessed cat were leader, would they have been able to step up and heal Cragpaw?  Primcrest (47) and her mate are also shaken by the loss of their only kit.  It feels wrong that he should have died so young.  Why can’t they escape loss?  The Clan does need some lifting up, so Creekstar decides to try and act like she’s alright (even though she’s not).  She notices that Fry (112) is upset with the death of his grandkit, so she hides behind a bush to pounce on him.  Rubblekit (1), despite being young, notices that something is up with Creekstar and asks her how she’s doing.  She appreciates it, but doesn’t want to trouble the kit.  Primcrest is feeling a bit lost and asks Creekstar for advice on how to keep going.  Creekstar supposes that giving someone else assistance helps. She suggests helping out Cypressbadger (71) in the nursery.  Primcrest is still not a fan of Rubblekit.  She thinks he’s so much more stuck up and rude than her Cragkit was.  And he’s always using his wind powers to make a breeze whistle through the camp.  And boost the sound of his yowling.  Can’t Cypressbadger get that under control?

Moon 169-Newleaf

Amethystdapple (96) and Fry’s (76) kits have been made warriors!  It’s crazy to think that the birth of these kits, particularly Primpaw (11), sparked a revolution, and now they’re warriors.  The Clan has grown and changed so much since then.    Mossypaw (11) has been given the name of Mossyfleck, honoring his warmth (hah).  Amethystdapple is proud of her only son.  Brightpaw (11) has been given the name of Brightfern, honoring her assurance.  And, the star (hah) of the ceremony, Primpaw, is given the warrior name of Primcrest, honoring her adaptability.  She may not have proven herself yet, but Creekstar has no doubt that she will.  Chervilcry (148) has been trying to spend more time with her grandkits, but said grandkit Cypressbadger (35) finds all the attention annoying.  She and the mediator end up getting in a fight.  At least Sleepyfoot (35) seems to like her grandma.  It’s still a little weird for Wildcave (52) to think he has younger siblings the same age as his kits.  Oh well.  At least he enjoys sharing the latest inter-Clan gossip with his daughter.  Conegoat (52) is less thrilled with having a niece.  She ignores Daisypaw (10) and gets her in trouble for not changing out the bedding in the nursery. And she’s not the only one upset with Daisypaw. Rabbitfur (25) is still annoyed with having Daisypaw as an apprentice.  She rolls her eyes when Daisypaw argues with her over a technique, but doesn’t provide any reason why her way of doing it is better.  Daisypaw can’t wait to be done with training and be a warrior like her aunts are. Meanwhile, Shard (66) has grown quite fond of Fennelkit (5).  She knows she won’t be able to mentor the young cat, as their powers don’t match, but she wishes she could.

Moon 275-Leaf-bare

After serving the Clan as deputy since she was only 23 moons old, Primcrest (117) has decided to retire from the position and move to the elder’s den.  She and Creekstar (129) have been through a lot together, but Primcrest doesn’t like how her leader and former friend has changed.  She doesn’t feel like she is the best fit for deputy anymore.  Creekstar respects her decision and the Clan is excited to dote on their hard working former deputy.  But that means that Creekstar must choose a new deputy, for the first time in almost 100 moons.  None of the cats alive (other than her) have ever had a deputy that was not Primcrest.  It will be a hard adjustment.  Stonetuft (14) is too young to take on the role, so she’s left to choose between Dawnfreckle (58), Archdapple (50), and Skipneedle (50). Bluestripe (50), isn’t an option as she’s not proven yet. Creekstar lands on Skipneedle.  Despite her reservations about having a lot of dark-cursed cats in the Clan, it feels right to have two dark-cursed cats at ElementClan’s head.  And Skipneedle, despite being younger, is a bit more mature than Dawnfreckle.  It’s a proud and celebratory moment for the Clan.  However, the mood is dampened when, a quarter moon later, a gang of rogues attacks the camp.  Rubbleheart (71) and Tumbleswoop (64) are on guard duty together.  They’re the first casualties.  The rogues seemed to know what they were doing and headed straight for the Healer’s den.  Hopedawn (64) and Archdapple, who were both too ill to fight, were killed before Hollypaw (14) formed a wall of thorns around the other cats in the den.  But the rogues killed him too.  Stonetuft saw his brother fall and lunged into battle, but even the might of a star-blessed cat wasn’t enough to save him and he, too, died.  Rootwing (42), despite being a mediator, did his best to fight off the rogues.  But he couldn’t do enough and he was killed, alongside Lilacdrizzle (42).  The rogues went for Brightmouse (50) next, seeing that she was the most powerful cat in the Clan, but a grieving Bluestripe leaped in front of her sister and drained the life from her attackers, earning her the proven status.  By the end of the battle, ElementClan won, but not without also losing Hyacinthstripe (20) and Blizzardback (38).  Creekstar wonders what she is doing wrong.  The Clan has known so much loss under her.  How can she fix it?  Should she just give up, and retire like Primcrest did?  Why must her Clan suffer?  Skipneedle, Brightmouse, and Bluestripe are back down to being the terrible triad instead of the fearsome foursome.  They managed without Archdapple when she was captured by twolegs, but there was the hope that she would return.  Now, she’s gone for good.  Skipneedle helps Primcrest bury Archdapple, carrying her sister’s body even as her weak leg threatens to give out.  Kestrelcreek (64) mourns the loss of the rest of her siblings and hopes that Tumbleswoop and Hopedawn are safe and happy in StarClan, reunited with their mother and sisters.  Hatchswipe (20) and Whorlstorm (20) mourn their father and brother, staying up all night at their vigils.  Primcrest curls around Dawnfreckle, glad that at least one of her sons is still alive.  She tells a story about how she and Rubbleheart bonded at his vigil, laughing through her tears.  She’ll miss him, but is glad that he gets to be with Cypressbadger.

Moon 210-Leaf-fall

Rubblepaw (6) has been apprenticed to Queenyspeckle (86).  The Clan isn’t sure if this is a strategic move on Creekstar’s (86) part to gain favor with a cat who doesn’t like her much, or if it’s just because Queenyspeckle hasn’t had an apprentice yet.  Maybe a bit of both.  Rubblepaw seems to understand that his mom should be here for this occasion.  His claws dig into the ground as he glares up at the sky, wondering why Cypressbadger can’t be there with him at such an important moment.  With Creekstar having kits soon, Wildcave (93) is getting nervous.  What if something happens to her or their kits?  What if he’s a bad father?  Silverspots (28) does his best to comfort him and build up his confidence.  Chiku (144) decides that, even though they won’t be fighting, it’s a good idea for him and Silverspots to keep their fighting skills sharp.  So he spars with the mediator.  And it’s a good way to keep his mind off of Fry.  Afterwards, Silverspots asks Chiku to tell him a story and the elder happily obliges, telling him about what life was like when he first joined the Clan.

Moon 208-Greenleaf

Whelp, that streak of good luck ended.  The greenleaf rains hit hard, and, being underground, the camp is prone to flooding.  ElementClan also doesn’t have many water-blessed cats (only Cilantro-69-and Silverpsots-26), so they are at a serious disadvantage if their were to cave flood.  Which, of course, it did.  Lightheather (25) was the first one to sound the alarm that the waters were rising.  In the aftermath, he can’t help but wonder if tragedy would have been prevented had he had acted sooner.  The nursery, where Cypressbadger (74), Cilantro, and the kits were hanging out, was hit hard.  Lotuskit (4) and Rubblekit (4) didn’t know how to swim.  Cypressbadger was able to get Rubblekit out, but, when she went back to try and help Cilantro and Lotuskit, she found that Cilantro had hit her head on a treebranch, sinking to the bottom of the cavern with Lotuskit in tow.  Cypressbadger tried to save them, but was unable to and drowned as well.  Fry (114) helped Chiku (142) to safety. He regretted that he never had the chance to confess his feelings before he succumbed to the waves.  Timberarch (125) tried to help Tornflake (35) and Glowquake (44), both of whom were injured, to safety, but the waves took all three of them. After the floodwaters recede, Chiku lies next to Fry’s body as the Clan sits vigil for him.  His world has ended with Fry’s.  Chiku never considered the possibility that he would one day be without Fry and wishes that they had had more time together. Primcrest (50) and Wildcave (91) are devastated by the loss of their father.  Primcrest wails when she sees Fry’s body, laying still and cold.  If she were more talented with her water magic, could she have saved him?  Once the vigil ends, Primcrest curls tightly in her nest, her throat raw from crying.   For Wildcave, Fry was his last tie to his life before the Clan.  Losing him feels like losing a tail, or a limb, or his shadow.  Wildcave relied on Fry, trusted him, and contemplating moving on from the loss seems impossible.  He and Primcrest hold each other close, taking comfort in their sibling bond.  Primcrest also lost Glowquake, which tears at her.  Primcrest takes comfort in Rubblekit.  Despite they’re rocky start, he reminds her a lot of Cragpaw. Then there’s Frecklestone (35), who lost her only surviving family member.  And little Rubblekit, who lost his mom. He doesn’t really understand what happened, so Creekstar (62) tries to explain it to him.  It’s hard.  She can’t help but blame herself for how the Clan is faring.  How could she do better?  The Clan has known so much loss.  Will it never end?

Moon 204-Newleaf

Cypressbadger (70) has had her kit!  He’s a little wind-blessed kit named Rubblekit (0).  Cypressbadger isn’t telling anyone who the other parent is and no one is claiming him.  Interesting. Although there are rumors that Cypressbadger has recently been seen with a cat from RaccoonClan.  Maybe Rubblekit’s half-clan?  Cragpaw (7) still has greencough and is getting frustrated.  He’s the son of the deputy-he should be stronger than this!  Fry (111) checks in on him, wanting to make sure his grandkit is alright.  He’s not alright and loudly informs Fry of that fact.  Primcrest (46), while also not happy that her kit has greencough, is glad she got out of the nursery before Rubblekit arrived.  She thinks he’s annoying.  Her kit was never that annoying, right?  Her mate, on the other hand, has an entirely different view of Rubblekit.  Glowquake (40) is excited to have a cousin and wants to spend more time with Rubblekit.  Tornflake (31) and Lightheather (21) continue to grow closer to each other.  They have a great time heckling a neighboring Clan at the gathering and Lightheather feels giddy about getting sent on the same patrol as Tornflake.  Hmm.  Maybe Primcrest is trying to set the two up?  Despite initial worries, Queenyspeckle (80) is proving to have none of the thirst for power and control that Yuccawillow did.  He’s just glad to help out and does his Clanmates’ chores with a smile on his face.  Another kittypet has joined the Clan, a powerless tom who takes the name of Vaxxstreak (90).  He seems nervous about being in the Clan, but he agrees to join because of the medical treatment the Healers can offer.

Moon 203-Leaf-bare

Cragpaw (6) has been apprenticed to Lightheather (20)!  And he immediately comes down with greencough.  Joy. Meanwhile, Lightheather’s (30) paw-walking display seems to have endeared him to Tornflake, who brushes against him while correcting his stance and looks away with a purr.  Xhosa (71) is getting used to clan life and has proven herself to be quite the hunter.  Even Fry (110) compliments her, which means a lot coming from a senior warrior.  In preparation for her kits, Cypressbadger (69) is trying to harness her motherly instincts and reminds Silverspots (21) to grab something to eat.  Silverspots is getting really tired of his Clanmates’ inability to communicate and is thinking of teaching them communication skills.  Would it even help though?  Creekstar (57) proves that she’s an attentive leader by bringing Cypressbadger her favorite food in the nursery.  Rumors fly.  Could Creekstar be the other parent of Cypressbadger’s kits?  How would Wildcave (86) feel about that?

Moon 202-Leaf-bare

It may have been too soon to thank StarClan for an uneventful leaf-bare.  Poolbounce (38) was bitten by a snake and died.  Timberarch (119) joining the Clan could not have come a moment too soon.  This leaves Glowquake (38) as the only surviving member of his siblings.  And Silverspots (20) and Lightheather (19) without their father.  They’ve known so much loss in their young lives, first their birth parents, then their siblings, and now this.  At least they still have each other.  Chiku (136) has also decided to retire to the elder’s den.  He’s been feeling his age.  And Fry (109) has been feeling old too.  Maybe he’ll follow Chiku to the elder’s den at some point.  Cypressbadger (68) has announced that she’s expecting kits.  But who could the other parent be. . ..Cypressbadger is already ready to be done being pregnant.  Even the smallest things can completely set her off and she sends gusts of winds whirling around the cavern. Wildcave (85) is still obsessed with Cragkit (5).  He knows that the young cat will be an apprentice soon and wants to savor his time with the innocent little kit.  Speaking of Cragkit, he’s excited to get out of the nursery.  Primcrest (44) is less eager for that and promises to always look out for her son.  And she’s been rolling around a little too playfully with Glowquake.  Cragkit could have gone without seeing that, but maybe he’ll have little siblings soon?  The newcomers to the Clan are not a fan of Lightheather.  Queenyspeckle (78) prays that he’s not on patrol with him tomorrow and Safariaster (109) gives him bitter herbs on purpose.   Lightheather decides to see what life is like for Tornflake (29) and tries walking on his forelimbs for a bit.  Hmm.  He might have to try that again.  He may have been boosting himself a little with wind, but he kind of enjoyed it.

Moon 198-Leaf-fall

All of the romance brewing in the Clan made Poolbounce (34) feel confident enough to confess his feelings to Tornflake (25).  And he got rejected.  Tornflake does like Poolbounce, romantically, but he just isn’t ready for a relationship yet. In the wake of this, Poolbounce finally turns to Cypressbadger (64) and gives her the attention she’s been craving.  He complains about his struggles with his feelings for Tornflake.  Cypressbadger does her best to be sympathetic, but is really just excited that someone is coming to her for advice. Unfortunately, Freedusk (77) couldn’t beat redcough.  It was hard watching the good natured cat waste away in front of them, and the Clan mourns what could have been.  Creekstar (52) has also been spending more time with Cragkit (1).  It’s actually making her want to have kits of her own with Wildcave (81), when he’s ready.  Glowquake (34) is still being a doting father.  He always makes sure to spend time with his kit and check in with how he’s doing.  Wildcave is excited to have a young cat in the Clan and tries to set a good example for Cragkit.

Moon 193-Newleaf

Things are finally starting to look up for ElementClan.  Fry (100) and Primcrest (35) have recovered from the poison, and Fry has also recovered from frost-bite.  Halfnoise (34) is hanging on and still battling his redcough.  And the Clan has two new pairs of mates!  Wildcave (76) and Creekstar (47), and Primcrest and Glowquake (29) have become mates!  Glowquake loves using his new status to sneak over to and sleep in Primcrest’s nest.  Although he is having a little trouble adjusting to being part of Fry’s family, though.  He’s not a huge fan of Wildcave.  Some things the older tom says rub him the wrong way.  Primcrest comforts him.  Meanwhile, Silverpaw (11) still hasn’t been able to help Cypressbadger (59) be less obsessive. Poolbounce (29) is not a fan of his aunt. He thinks that Cypressbadger is annoying and wishes that she would leave the healer's den alone.  Lightpaw (10) is struggling to keep up with his training.  He feels like his mentor, Primcrest, has been distracted with her new mate and isn’t taking the time to work with him.

Moon 190-Leaf-bare

Wildcave (73), who still feeling frustrated with his son, is spending some time with his surviving sisters.  He adores Brightfern (32) and greatly admires Primcrest (32).  He’s glad that his dad had more kits, although he does miss his littermates.  Lightpaw (7) is learning more about his mentor through training.  He’s really surprised that life as a deputy is challenging, especially as a dark-cursed deputy.  He never knew.  Silverpaw (8) doesn’t have the benefit of a mentor to help him and is still figuring out this whole mediator thing.  He tried bringing up Cypressbadger’s (56) slightly obsessive overprotection over her sister’s kits up to her but just started a fight with her.  Oops.  At least he’s doing well getting Fry (97) and Chiku (124) closer to each other. . .There’s also some romance brewing the healer's den.  Tornflake (17) has been in there a lot lately, and Poolbounce (26) has slowly fallen in love.  He wants Tornflake to understand how crazy he is about him.  Tornflake also enjoys spending time with Poolbounce and is planning a sneak attack on him.  Aww.   Safariaster (97)is excited to be a part of the Clan, although she is proving to be a little bit of a gossip and shared an embarrassing story about Wildcave he asked her not to tell.  As a result, Silverpaw is a little distrustful of her and is keeping a close eye on her.  The Clan is having good luck convincing kittypets to join and boost their numbers.  This moon, they add Cilantro (51) to their numbers, who has a fairly strong water-blessing.  He actually looks a bit like Yellowcreek and Gladepatch, making some warriors suspect that he may be a younger sibling of Yellowcreek’s or Yellowcreek’s nephew and Gladepatch’s cousin.  They know nothing of Yellowcreek’s family outside the Clan, so it’s possible.  His reports of seeing a starry-furred cat guide him to the Clan only bolster these theories.

Moon 188-Leaf-fall

Cats are starting to recover from the hardship that struck the Clan.  Primcrest (30) and Glowquake (24) are feeling like they can keep on living without their loved ones and have bonded over their shared grief. They have a sweet bonding moment when Glowquake tells her that he sometimes feels like he doesn’t have anything to say or that the words trip coming out of his mouth.  Primcrest tells him that she doesn’t think he needs to change anything about how he talks or acts-she likes him just the way he is. Tornflake (15) is also feeling much better and is ready to get started on his warrior duties, but Creekstar (42) has been working herself a little too hard and has come down with whitecough. On the plus side, the Clan has a new apprentice!  Silverpaw (6) has been made a mediator apprentice and is excited to get to work.  Without a mentor, Silverpaw is having a bit of trouble managing client confidentiality as a mediator.  Fry (95) decides to try confiding in him and Silverpaw responds by telling him that Chiku (122) has a crush on him.  Oops.  It turns out that Wildcave (71) may have some feelings for Creekstar afterall.  He knows which fresh-kill is Creekstar’s favorite and saves it for her.  Aww.  The Clan understands that it’s important to put up a strong front during challenging times, so Chiku and Tornflake heckle another Clan at the gathering together.  What a great bonding experience.  Cypressbadger (54) feels like Frecklepaw (15) is being too serious, so she’s hiding behind a bush ready to pounce on the Healer apprentice.  Frecklepaw is still stressed being the only healthy Healer, but she’s glad that her brother is doing better, at least.  With Creekstar sick, Primcrest has been busy.  She’s sad that she doesn’t have more time to spend around Lightkit (5).  She’s come to enjoy her down time around the Clan’s younger members.

Moon 185-Greenleaf

Tornpaw’s (12) efforts are be paying off, but at a price.  All his training has torn up his pelt around his paralyzed hind legs.  That doesn’t stop him from working hard though!  And telling the kits fanciful stories about how he was paralyzed (he fails to mention that he was actually born with the condition).  Mousekit (2) is proving to be the little darling of the camp.  Fry (92) appreciates how she always checks in on him and Mossyfleck (27) tries to get her to sneak out of camp with him.  Fry also wants to spend more time with his grandson and tries to sneak out of camp with Halfnoise (26).  Cypressbadger (51) has never been a big fan of young kits, but having a bunch of kits in camp is actually making her revise that opinion.  Specifically Lightkit (2).  He’s making her remember just how cute kittens are.  Creekstar (39) doesn’t agree.  She thinks it’s stressful having so many kits in camp.  If one of them dies or is injured, she feels like it would be her responsibility.  Sleepyfoot (51) is finding out that working with young cats isn’t always sunshine and roses.  Frecklepaw (12) has entered her teenage stage where she doesn’t want to listen to the older Healer.  It’s annoying.  Rabbitfur (41) continues to be the heartthrob of the Clan.  Brightfern (27) takes time out of her day to roll around in some herbs after hearing that Rabbitfur likes them.  While on a patrol, Tornpaw gets in a skirmish with a rogue and one of his good legs is mangled.  Mouse dung!  He feels a bit better about it when he learns that Wildcave (68) later encounters the same rogue and ends up with a mangled tail.

Moon 175-Leaf-fall

Gladepatch (51) and Sleepyfoot (41) are feeling better.  Asterpaw (11) and Poolpaw (11) are very relieved.  Taking care of the Clan with just the two of them was hard!  Unfortunately, Lightkit (2) has gotten greencough.  If it spreads to Tornkit (2) he’ll have a hard time shaking it. It turns out that Creekstar’s (29) fears over Daisyfreeze’s (16) safety were quite warranted.  Just the moon after she became a warrior, she was found dead near the TulipClan border.  Her brothers and parents are shaken.  Rustsong (44) and Wildcave (58) will miss their only girl.  Finchbelly (16) and Halfnoise (16) are shocked to find themselves the only survivors of their four kit litter.  Glowpaw (11) is feeling shaken by the loss of another young cat.  Chervilcry (154) promises that she’ll always look out for him.  Gladepatch is grateful for all the hard work the apprentices took in caring for him and takes a moment out of his day to share tongues with Poolpaw. With Sleepyfoot back to working in the Healer’s den, Pigeonspot (44) is taking responsibility in caring for their kits.  She plays with the ever so talkative Elmkit (5), who just wants to tell her how she knows so much about fighting.  Yeah right-maybe that’ll be true once she’s an apprentice!  Meanwhile, Cypressbadger (41) is getting in fights with everyone.  She argues with Frostheart (78) and Frecklekit (2).  What is up with her?  Well, it turns out she is feeling ignored and unappreciated in the Clan.  Her sister is busy with kits and she caught Brightfern (17) complaining about her behind her back.  Meanwhile, Brightfern’s sister, Primcrest (17), is doing quite well. Creekstar is quite proud of her former apprentice.  Primcrest fought bravely in a border skirmish with TulipClan and with great control over her powers.  She’ll be ready for an apprentice soon-and then she can become deputy.  Creekstar has also enjoyed spending more time with Wildcave.  She loves his sense of humor and how she can make him laugh, over and over.

Moon 173-Greenleaf

This greenleaf has been a hot one, and many cats have come down with heat exhaustion.  Not great for the two Healer apprentices.  Sleepyfoot (39), Chervilcry (152), Wormdart (29), Palejumble (13), and Elmkit (3) have all come down with it.  And Primcrest (15) realizes that she actually has heatstroke.  She knows enough about healing from having earth powers to identify it when the apprentices can’t.  She’s also hesitant to heal herself, knowing the stories about dark-cursed cats who do.  Fry’s (80) constant nightmares have stopped, and he’s looking forward to getting to go back on patrol and catching up with Creekstar (27).  Gladepatch (49) appreciates the hard work his apprentices have been putting in and notices just how considerate Asterpaw (9) is.  With Sleepyfoot sick, Pigeonspot (42) and Cypressbadger (39) have stepped up in watching out for the kits.  Cypressbadger gives Goldenkit (3) a badger ride and Pigeonspot thinks she’s very helpful.  Halfnoise (14) makes sure to spend time with Daisypaw (14), who is frustrated at not being a warrior yet.  He makes jokes about neighboring clans with her and makes sure she feels seen.  The stress of being the only two Healers in a Clan full of sick cats is starting to get to Asterpaw.  He feels like Poolpaw (9) could be much more helpful than he is.  While on a patrol, the apprentices find a loner named Marshdapple (64) and her three kits and bring them back to camp.  Marshdapple and one of the kits, Frecklekit (0), have a weak earth-blessing. It will be nice to have a more experienced cat to help out in the Healer’s den, even if Marshdapple is still recovering from giving birth.  At first they think the other two kits are powerless, but they realize that one of the kits, aptly named Lightkit (0), is giving off a little more heat than is normal.  He’s fire-blessed.  His brother, Tornkit (0), though, is powerless.

Finchpaw (12) and Halfpaw (12) have been made warriors!  Finchpaw has been given the name of Finchbelly, honoring his courage, and Halfpaw is now Halfnoise, honoring his valiance.  That leaves Daisypaw (12) alone as the last remaining one of Wildcave (54) and Rustsong’s (40) kits who is an apprentice.  She’s annoyed that her mentor hasn’t been paying much attention to her and wishes that she could be a warrior with her brothers.  Speaking of her family, her grandpaw, Fry (78), and Creekstar (25) have proven that they make a good team.  Fry’s experience and easy-going demeanor balance out Creekstar’s youth and excitability.  Fry is proud of how he and his kits have found a place in the Clan. Primcrest (13) always thought that, once she was made a warrior and proven, Fry would retire from the deputyship and she would take over.  Fry explains that she most likely will, but only after she’s had an apprentice.  Primcrest understands, and looks at Elmkit (1) and Goldenkit (1).  Maybe one of them will be her apprentice?   Halfnoise knows that, since Conegoat died, Gladepatch has had to take on more responsibility in the healer's den.  He hopes that he’s taking his own personal health seriously.  Fennelpaw (7) is proud of her Healer apprentice brothers.  Poolpaw (7) takes such good care of all of his patients, and Fennelpaw doesn’t even mind taking orders from him.  Internally, though Poolpaw is freaking out.  There’s so much to learn and he’s a bit overwhelmed.  Sleepyfoot (37) and Cypressbadger (37) have been spending more time together since their mom died.  They spar when Cypressbadger visits her nieces in the nursery.  Sleepyfoot enjoys raising her kits with Pigeonspot (40), but she can’t help but stare at Pigeonspot’s sister.  She knows Rustsong is happy with Wildcave, but what would she think about having multiple mates. . .
