Time Well Spent
I just spent the entirety of my free time between work, cleaning, and meals to bullshit my way through the descriptions of completely fabricated languages for my D&D campaign. I'm now at page 19 of a primer that perhaps five people will see. The entire experience has been unimaginably satisfying.
I've included an excerpt or two here for the curious:

if you like grand strategy games but want a more fantasy twist, please consider Anbennar, a total conversion mod for Europa Universalis 4
Anbennar comprises of a fantasy world inspired by modern fantasy, especially with d&d influences, though the ideas are expanded much beyond the in- universe equivalent of the sword coast. The "New world" is made up off elven remnant civilizations, devastated by a massive calamity that befell them over a millenia ago. The middle east equivalent is made of the remnants of elf Alexander the great, who actually made it to India and formed a massive empire. There's a ton of cool stuff in here, and if you're into fantasy world, i really recommend you check them out.

I have been working on a chapter of Fine Steps featuring Diamond Dogs but, after trying to fit it together for months, I think it needs to be two separate chapters. While I re-engineer that, I've also been working on a follow-up chapter that features Somber Dreams (earlier chapters here and here). I'm not sure which will be out first.
For the tabletop gamers out there: I've also just finished a 47-page primer for a D&D campaign set in Anbennar (An AU Fantasy Renaissance Europe) with an alternate history that severed the realm from magic. (A fact that magic resents and seeks to remedy through the actions of the PCs.) Think The Last Spell meets Wildermyth meets EUIV.
More to come!
