It’s weird to try to re-introduce yourself to a fandom when you’ve been away so long, but hello phellow phans, I have been away for a very long time in other fandoms but... Always come back to the Big Ones.  Anyway, I don’t know if anyone would recognize me. I tried to figure out what might be my best known pieces that would define my contributions back then, but this is probably The One.  Anyway, it’s me, I’m that guy.  It’s funny because OH LORD did I ever draw SO MUCH MORE than ever showed up in DA or even got scanned.  I’m right back to PotO having my whole gut in a skeletal death grip and it feels a little like coming home.

A hiss: ‘I’m not touching you.’

Ah, Cristof thinks, to be a glorious future leader of the Venetian Republic harassing a potential colleague with chalk. Turning to his students, he finds several with dusty cheeks and marks across their clothes. He exudes an air of disapproval. 

‘Alright,’ he claps hands. ‘Let’s hear it. Vincenzo, since you were so full of gusto, why don’t you start us off.’ 

‘I wasn’t pinching Francesco, maestro.’ The boy declares, standing with an air of authority. ‘He pinched himself.’ 

‘I did not,’ Francesco scowls. 

Cristof points to young Vincenzo’s slate. ‘Read.’

Cristof and his very noble, very serious, very scholarly students who aren’t at all a bunch of miscreants.

I like to think Zyffre enjoyed spending time with his grandfather Gixx when he was younger. Their relationship got a little shaky after his mother's death, though. Both grieved a bit too differently, I think

Considering Zyffre was absolutely a mama's boy, he felt as if Gixx didn't try hard enough to search for his mother and her team in Orr. But honestly, how does one search for a missing team on a continent full of Risen? Maybe it was lucky that Magister Luura and her team weren't found as Risen. But their bodies were never found, either.

Eventually though, Zyffre would come around again and apologize to his grandfather for the harsh words exchanged between them.

Sometimes, Trucy's mind betrays her.

She knows she has no reason to be nervous. Not only is the "problem" she's facing nothing she actually needs to fear; even if it was - it's not like worrying would actually help at all. She hates the feeling of knots in her stomach and trapped butterflies - a sensation that every performer is familiar with, but one she's long since left in the past.

But this is a different matter. Because today she's going to be meeting Daddy in the past - before he'd ever even met her as a child, that is.

It's just as exciting as it is nerve-wracking, to be fair. Trucy feels herself practically bouncing with energy as she prepares herself to "meet" him. She remembers him from when he was that age, of course, but she had been so young at the time - and this is a once-in-a-lifetime scenario that no-one else can ever claim to have experienced. Even if... even if she can't stop thinking about the choice he'll have to make.

"Umm... excuse me, sir!" she exclaims, only needing a moment to stop the nerves from showing on her face and smiling enthusiastically. "Would you like to see a magic trick?"
