Momo || ten of cups & Jihyo || two of cups: The exact same, pretty much. Even if at some point their on-screen and off-screen personalities were a bit different, that's not the case anymore - it's almost as if the 2 morphed into 1 as time went by.

Mina || seven of pentacles & Chaeyoung || three of wands: Same as with Momo and Jihyo, except they sometimes choose not to be so "real"/candid/transparent, whereas the previous 2 members either don't even think about it or simply can't help it.

Dahyun || the high priestess rx: This one is interesting because I just feel like Dahyun has so many sides to herself that it's hard to pin-point exactly what is for the cameras and what is her "irl self". It's all so random, honestly… lol.

Sana || the hanged man: 50/50. Sometimes we get a lot of irl Sana, other times we only get a little, but it's all pretty natural - meaning that she's not doing it intentionally; it depends on the moment, mood, etc.

Nayeon || the wheel of fortune rx: At times she is very transparent, easygoing, "real"; other times she's way more calculated and careful. The thing is, I feel like it has moreso to do with how she's feeling and how her personal life is going - meaning that, if she's going through a hard time, it's more likely for her to hide behind her "idol mask". It's all for the sake of doing a good job and being a good professional, I guess.

Jeongyeon || four of swords rx: Jeongyeon's case is similar to Tzuyu's. She's also very uncomfortable with fame, and all of the attention and criticism makes her not want to show so much of her real self to the public. However, in comparison to Tzuyu, I think she ends up showing a little bit more of her irl personality on-camera, either by choice or accident.

Tzuyu || the star rx: Tzuyu is a little different on & off screen, but I think that's because she really doesn't like how exposed she is, plus how the public always seems to have something to say about everything they (idols/celebs) say and do. She's just very uncomfortable with fame, I think, so having a "mask"/persona that is used only for work/public stuff, helps her feel more protected and at ease.

What is this reading about? Hi! I used the same format as the skz reading. I didn't get a lot of happy marriage energy (?) from this reading honestly, some members got really ugly cards, others are a bit better, but I guess that's how life works? This is a terrible combination of cards for a relationship lmao

It doesn't begin as a genuine relationship, it might be something casual that develops in an unhealthy dependence on each other.

Probably a person looking at them might wonder "why are these two together?"

5 of cups has a variety of meanings that can be applied to this situation: in general I sense a lot of emptiness. But what is this emptiness linked to? It can be that Nayeon is in this relationship because she doesn't want to be alone (so she isn't really in love) or she might have real feelings but their relationship is so bad that she's suffering. Another option is that she loves someone else (an ex or someone she can't be with) and this current lover is just a very unhealthy way to move on from this unrequited love.

It might be a stressful relationship.

There’s an imbalance in their relationship. One of them has more power, is richer, has more experience or stuff like that, at least at first. Knowing Momo, this card lowkey fit her because she used to date an older man who is a senior in the industry, so it might mean that she has a type, but of course there's also the possibility she's the older person in this case.

This might be the cause of stress, maybe they have a different view of the world or different priorities.

I think that the more they are together the more they find a balance though. It might be a harsh process, but I don't really feel like their relationship will end badly.

It seems it’s a very happy relationship where they both support each other.

It’s probably a fun relationship too with a lot of flirting and laughs, like Sana herself.

There isn't only happiness though, rev ace of cups might imply some big negativity.

I don’t think this is related to one of them doing something negative though. It’s possible she’ll suffer a scandal related to her dating or maybe some of their plans end negatively? For example if they want to have a child, it will be complicated for them.

Or maybe someone around them isn’t happy about this couple, for example a parent that doesn’t approve of the partner. 

Or in general someone jealous like an ex or someone who wants to get between them.

I tend to believe this won’t disrupt their relationship since the previous cards had such a bright energy.

Stress and responsibilities. It might be similar to Jeongyeon’s case, where she feels like she’s the only one putting effort in the relationship, or it might simply mean she’s too busy with her job to give her partner the attention they deserve.

Despite this, it’s a relationship that both parties want to cultivate and protect.

Ace of words is a particular card that opens to two outcomes: 1) they manage to build a more stress-free relationship and find a good life-work balance (and I tend to lean toward this interpretation since 7 of pentacles usually is a card that indicates rewards after the hardwork) 2) they understand they’re better off on their own and end their relationship peacefully.

I feel the people involved weren't really ready for a relationship because they were focused on the wrong things (like being interested in another person or missing an old lover).

Probably thanks to their past experiences or because both partners are in a healthy state of mind, they're able to build a very solid relationship.

It's possible this person is a very structured and logical person, someone probably very different from Chaeyoung hence the surprise they both felt when they fell for each other.

The queen of cups is a beautiful card that represent femininity and kindness, I think it suits Tzuyu's personality very well.

The look in someones eyes. Also (don't come for me) but i think she really likes women👀 i got a really really strong feeling with that card. She likes someone feminine, with a doe look in their eyes. ⭒ Nayeon:

Very independent; very organized. She was serious about her duties as a trainee and followed the rules, but was also quite strategic about it all. Extremely intelligent; kept her ears open for everything, but only spoke about things that mattered for her. She knew when to say things and how to say them. Never spoke out of turn. Adding on to that, Nayeon was most likely one of the most private and discreet trainees, as instead of wanting to make dozens of friends, she focused on the work that had to be done to get to that debut stage. Every day was a work day for her, and no one could get her to lose track of her goals and tasks. If she had to cut people off due to that, she would.

⭒ Jeongyeon:

Outwardly, she appeared to be a very happy and fulfilled person. However, in private, everything came crashing down on her and she had trouble looking at her situation from an optimistic point of view. This period was very hard on her and, instead of looking for support from those around her (who were, assumably, going through the same issues), she chose to hide her feelings and deal with them alone. She didn't want to be seen as weak, so she put on a happy face whenever people showed up and shoved all negative thoughts under the rug. Jeongyeon might've also been the type to compare herself to others, which made everything worse. She didn't see her talents and progress for what they were; instead she only saw how well the others were doing. She supported and cheered on others, but she should've actually been doing that for herself first and foremost.

A true ambivert. She was likely quite popular and had no issue making new friends, but still needed her privacy and her alone time at the end of the day. Momo wasn't one to get herself involved in fights with the other trainees or with the JYP employees/teachers/etc. She wasn't there to cause trouble or to play dirty games behind people's backs; she simply wanted to focus on her dreams and on the work that she had to do for them to come true. Also due to this, she might've had some issues when it came to boundaries. She gave more than what she should've, and, even when it felt like she had nothing else to give, she still managed to find enough strength to run that extra mile. She really wanted them to recognize her skills and hard work, and wouldn't give up until they expressed their appreciation and total satisfaction.

⭒ Sana:

The brightest and kindest of all, I'd say. Extremely friendly. She brought everyone's spirits up and took great care of them. Sana might've usually been the first one to notice when someone was feeling low or was going through a hard time, and immediately offered a helping hand. She was also very grounded, responsible and reliable. Completed all of her tasks without fail, but didn't make them her whole focus. She still needed to connect with others on a personal level, and to feel like, even though she was in a competitive environment, there was still love and care around her. I believe she had the tendency to romanticize everything and purposely avoided thinking about the negatives. Still, she knew herself very well already, and was realistic with her expectations and capacity to handle things.

⭒ Jihyo:

A free-spirit; very fun and outgoing. She could've had trouble following the rules, but I don't see her breaking them on purpose. They simply went over her head and, before she knew it, she had broken half of them in a single week. I see that Jihyo was also the first one to approach new people and put in effort to get to know them. It's not that she wanted to be friends with everyone, but she was genuinely curious to get to know them, where they came from and how they ended up there. Additionally, because she was always quite easy-going, she was the ideal person to resolve conflicts. It was very hard to get on her nerves, so she could perfectly get herself in the middle of an argument without being affected by it.

⭒ Mina:

Quite popular; always in the spotlight. Mina was very proud of her skills and achievements, and didn't shy away from showing them off. Not that she wanted attention, but she didn't see the point in hiding them if she was trying to make a career out of them. She could've also been some kind of team leader; often guiding the others and helping them find motivation. I see her being the first one to arrive in the morning; the first one to talk to the staff/teachers/etc and ask all of the important questions, to then inform the other trainees. Mina was one of the most future oriented people, too; always looking ahead and making the necessary moves for things to come to fruition. Also due to this, she wasn't one to dwell on disagreements or any kind of hurt - instead, she chose to keep walking towards new and brighter experiences and saw all of these more negative occurrences as a necessary part of the journey.

⭒ Dahyun:

Dahyun was always that one person who seemed to have their head in the clouds. Always thinking of something else; always distracted. Timing and schedules might've also been troublesome for her because of this side of her personality - she either often showed up late to things or let deadlines pass by accident. I don't see her enjoying having to follow a timetable strictly. Regardless, she was a very good influence on others, since she always brought lots of excitement and joy along with her. She made people feel at ease, even though the connections might've not been super intimate. They always felt like she had good intentions towards them and wouldn't cause them trouble to get ahead. Also, I don't feel like she had a definite career path in mind, but rather just wanted to be an entertainer and try many different things along the way.

⭒ Chaeyoung:

A problem solver; very smart. She was very good at organizing things and giving people solutions to their problems. However, while she had no trouble helping others, she rarely helped herself. Chaeyoung is another one who, like Momo, gave far too much and had weak boundaries. She'd rather work herself to the bone than let her efforts be ignored. Until they said to her face that it was good enough, she wouldn't stop pushing for that recognition. Also, she was quite outspoken - even to a fault, I'd say. She was one to jump into conclusions and say things without knowing all of the facts, which led her to often make a fool of herself when she didn't need to. At times, too, Chaeyoung might've not even had her mind made up on the topic, but still went ahead and spoke on it. All in all, it seems like she had trouble learning from her mistakes and just kept repeating them again and again. If she had taken the time to think things through and look back at how it turned out for her previously, all should've been much easier for her.

⭒ Tzuyu:

Very quiet and agreeable. One to stay impartial in most (if not all) occasions; never asserted her will regarding anything. Instead, Tzuyu was one to stay in the corner and trust the others' judgement. She knew they had no bad intentions towards her, anyway. On the other hand, while she wasn't often a super active or bold individual, everyone valued her presence and contribution to the team. In that sense, since she could easily adapt to all of their personalities, she was able to provide them with the kind of comfort and care they each needed. Really, she was up for anything and never made a fuss. Patient and compassionate; the one that listened to their problems and gave them advice; extremely understanding and affectionate.

✦ Pre-debut Group Dynamic:

It seems like the group was very divided at first. Some members were very close and loyal towards one another, while others not so much yet. Mind you, due to the way this industry works, they were constantly being pitted against each other and, naturally, acted very defensively. Their place in the group wasn't secure until they stepped on that debut stage, and they were all too aware of that. Rumours were constantly flying around; gossip was a daily thing. Although many of the stuff they heard was most likely untrue, it still influenced their dynamic and the way they saw certain people. Even so, they were usually very respectful towards one another, and big fights might've been rare. They saw eye to eye on most matters, and knew better than to make things worse by causing unecessary arguments. The trainee life was already very stressful as it was. Also, those who quickly became close friends and developed deep bonds from the get go, were a very good influence on others. Not only did they bring the mood up, but they also motivated the more closed off members to open up and link up with the people they got along with the best. This way, no one was left isolated and, as time went on, they all became closer and learnt how to trust each other fully.

damn i feel like jeongyeon has been through a lot of injustice these past few years. not from her members or jihyo but from the company. there clearly was some sort of conflict with a lot of disagreements from higher ups or staff members and due to leaders having to balance the opinions between the two parties, group and company, jihyo stood in the middle and tried very hard to resolve the conflict. jeongyeon did see that jihyo was trying her best to support her while also remaining objective and make rational decisions. nonetheless, this dispute definitely did have a toll on their emotional bond and caused some friction. i don't think they're on bad terms at all, just not connecting much on an emotional level as of now.

momo is another member who is very aware of all the responsibilities jihyo carries on her back. however, at the same time she knows the leader is very strong, does not fear any obstacles and is always up for a challenge. she views her as someone who has a very good grip on her emotions and is great at controlling them while also having a very caring side to her. she thinks that jihyo makes the members feel taken care of at all times and always has an open ear for whatever worries they might have.

Twice will want more opportunities as the future approaches but it may be hard for them to go through with it. tzuyu's a moon druid under the nature department. if you don't know what a druid is, they're basically spellcasters that tap their magic from the primal forces of nature, and as a moon druid, tzuyu mainly uses her magic to transform into beasts to fight against those that harm nature. yes she's very sweet she can turn into a hamster but she can also turn into a giant constrictor snake

chaeyoung studies evocation magic as a draconic bloodline sorcerer. yes, many fancy words. evocation magic is basically using magic to manipulate pure energy in the environment, i.e. blow shit up. as a sorcerer, her magic stems from a particular phenomena, in this case her bloodline, and manifests itself in her proclivity for pyromancy (setting shit on fire)

dahyun studies under the divination department, which is basically spells all about knowing things, past, present, and future. she's a knowledge cleric, which means her magic stems from her belief and faith in a particular god. i'd say she mostly uses a crystal ball or tarot cards to cast her spells and see things, and her magic basically gives her photographic memory or smtin idk HAHA

mina is a warlock ! this means she's struck a deal or a bargain with an otherworldly deity or creature in exchange for fabulous power. in this case, she's made a deal with a dark power (that i'll probably reveal later on) in exchange for having spells that can alter space and time. as such, she's part of the dunamancy department (credit to wildemount for coining that name) and studies chronurgy, or the manipulation of time. did i mention she's an elf? yeah she's an elf, elf mina fits perfectly imo

sana is another sorcerer, this time a runechild sorcerer (credit again to matt mercer and the new tal dorei book !) she studies under the gnomish runes department. basically she's got all these runes on her skin which she uses to make wards that can protect her and people all around her ! neato !!!

jihyo's a bit of a nerd in the department of lore. as a wizard, her magic stems from practice and study, so yeah, nerd alert. she basically has a sentient spellbook that she uses to jot down notes and spells and stuff like that (order of scribes !) she's also the dorm manager ! bc dorm manager jihyo is always my headcanon

momo's in the elven rituals department, and that's because she's a half-elf studying bladesinging (damn high ac wizards) bladesinging is basically an art form that's supposedly unique to elves. it manifests through something called the elfsong, and elves can use it to sort of "dance" with a sword. very cool ! and very momo too !!

jeongyeon's a cleric like dahyun, except instead of knowledge, her domain is death. yep, jeongyeon studies in the necromancy department. except instead of being more of a zombie type necromancer, she's more of a "i will kill you" necromancer and most of he r magic is harmful and more about killing people. did i mention she has a scythe? yeah she had a scythe

nayeon is a half-fairy bard ! bards are unique in that they draw their magic from performance and song, which fits nayeon to a tee ! she studies glamour in the department of enchantment, and basically has a silver-tongue ! also bc she's a half fairy she's super popular and basically everyone likes her
