It's a dance they dare in order to research the glittery ghouls, and these ladies had better rehearse their steps well — for all it takes to die is the briefest brush of bone.

imagine: Wylan and Jesper as high school teachers. Wylan is either band, art, or some science. Jesper is english or history. they have a few interactions in front of students and they're always really exasperated with the other and then complain to their students as soon as it's done. said students immediately start to think they should fuck and it becomes their mission to get them to do so. they start "operation Faheydriks" and are suddenly leaving things in Jesper's classroom and emailing him begging him to bring it to them while their in Wylan's room and vice versa, saying things like "Mr. Hendriks, don't you think Mr. Fahey is hot?" and "Mr. Fahey, Mr. Hendriks seems like your type." they place bets on when they'll get together and keep arguing over whether their attempts are working or not. and it goes on like all year until after Spring Break Wylan walks in wearing an engagement ring. all the kids zero in on it and are freaking out because there's no way it worked that well, and this means everything is ruined! until eventually someone leaves their phone in Wylan's room and go up to get it, and the door is closed but unlocked, so they walk in and boom. Wylan and Jesper are making out. and the student freaks out and runs to tell all their friends that Mr. Hendriks and Mr. Fahey are making out in the art room!!! and when everyone crowds in Jesper and Wylan are arguing over who was supposed to lock the door. and eventually they get them all to go home and the next say they have to officially announce to their students that yes, they are engaged, the wedding is next March, and no, they aren't invited.

Well well while I'm working on my new Daenerys stuff I realize there's fully finished older stuff I didn't post yet. From the Unburnt (Daenerys centric) collab (n°1) :

Adding down there the thought process cause I really worked that out.

Themes : dual motherhood, conflicted motherhoods. Instinct to protect. Conflict between desire & ability. Love and hate. Daenerys is associated both to the endangered child in need of protection, and to that of the ruler & protector. In addition to that, she is finally also associated to the "monster", the creature that endangers children. At opposite sides of the spectrum of "children", are Missandei and the dragons, both dear to Daenerys (she wishes to care for them the best she can) & in a precarious position (not safe/kept in chains).

Important quotes :

1) "They are afraid for their children," Reznak said. Yes, Daenerys thought, and so am I.

2) "No one ever kept me safe when I was little. Well, Ser Willem did, but then he died, and Viserys ….I want to protect you but … it is so hard. To be strong. I don’t always know what I should do. I must know, though. I am all they have. I am the queen … the … the …"

"… mother," whispered Missandei. "Mother to dragons." Dany shivered. "No. Mother to us all." Missandei hugged her tighter.

4) What sort of mother lets her children rot in darkness ? If I look back, I am doomed, Dany told herself … but how could she not look back? I should have seen it coming. Was I so blind, or did I close my eyes willfully, so I would not have to see the price of power ?

5) The winged shadow, the grieving father called him. He was the largest of her three, the fiercest, the wildest, with scales as black as night and eyes like pits of fire. (= the main child of Daenerys, haunting this chapter)

6) Mother of dragons, Daenerys thought. Mother of monsters. What have I unleashed upon the world? A queen I am, but my throne is made of burned bones, and it rests on quicksand. Without dragons, how could she hope to hold Meereen, much less win back Westeros? I am the blood of the dragon, she thought. If they are monsters, so am I.

my angsty/sad girl playlists

are we still friends?: playlist based on the song of the same title by tyler, the creator. it's basically just a bunch of songs where you can yearn about a friend/lover.

beautiful, beautiful, beautiful boy: playlist based off the movie beautiful boy (2018)

distant echoes: melancholy-sounding r&b songs. meant to be listened to in a car while it's raining.

do you feel alone right now?: based off the movie, donnie darko (2001).

eps1.0_hellofriend.mov: based off the tv series 'mr. robot'. i highly recommend the show if you haven't seen it and you are mentally ill or are a film bro.

for 6 months i couldn't sleep: based off one of my favorite movies, fight club (1999). specifically based on the narrator of the story who suffers from insomnia bcs i too have insomnia and it's a very trippy experience.

hell is a teenaged girl: seems self-explanatory

i am the shadows: based on robert pattinson's batman from the batman (2022). its basically just an emo playlist for emo batman.

i don't feel...well: based off the movie pearl (2022) bcs it changed me. this is mostly based off the monologue that pearl does near the end of the film.

i fell in love with a war: based off the song 'a pearl' by mitski. basically for the girls who feel like they've never been normal and their love language is violence/conflict

if you love me, keep it to yourself: based off the songs 'vacillator' by ethel cain and 'i love you' by billie eilish. it's a collection of songs that are based off of the feeling of not wanting people to love you because you know you will disappoint them eventually or it will be ruined in some way.

i just...i wished that you liked me: based off ladybird (2017). if you have mommy issues and are scared of growing up, this is the playlist for you.

i just want so badly to be rid of you: based off of the australian teen tv series, dance academy (2009), and the main relationship between christian and tara. if you don't watch the series, it's also just a sad breakup playlist.

i knew he wanted cool girl: based off of amy dunne from gone girl (2014). basically a playlist for when your fed up being a woman in a man-dominated society but in a barely suppressed female rage type of way.

i'm a liability: based off the song 'liability' by lorde. for those who feel like they are too much.

i'm fine: you're experiencing visceral all consuming rage but you're trying to do it in a pretty and aesthetic way

"i thought you'd love me, jo!": songs that i felt embodied laurie in little women (2019) when he said this line

it's getting bad again: pov: you have crippling depression and don't know what to do with yourself.

i used to be a brother: based off the movie iron claw (2023), another one of my favorite movies.

i was perfect: based off the movie black swan (2010), specifically nina and her crippling perfectionism.

"just love me and eat": playlist that my friend actually put together in slide show form for me and i just copied her. it's based off of the movie bones and all (2022).

loneliness has followed me my whole life: based off the movie taxi driver (1976), specifically the main character, travis bickle

may december: based off the film of the same title, but focused on joe and how he probably feels as a victim of grooming.

meet me in montauk: based off clementine and joel from the movie eternal sunshine of the spotless mind (2004) and their relationship.

mirrorball: based off of the song 'mirrorball' by taylor swift. In the song, she compares herself to a reflective disco ball that reflects all the personalities around her but when the light is off her she's just there. i relate deeply to this idea and this playlist has a bunch of songs that i feel work with this idea. but i've also added some songs onto it that reflect that feeling of anxiety that goes with being a mirrorball bcs you're scared that other people will eventually realize that you're just reflecting. and songs that show the jealousy that comes from looking at other people who seem to just be naturally magnetizing.

mitski.: all of my favorite mitski songs

mother and child have crazy beef: based off the movie mother (2020) but if you have mommy issues, this playlist is for you.

my year of rest and relaxation: based off the book of the same name because i read the book recently and unfortunately it did not convince me that i don't need a year of rest and relaxation myself.

narc crash: playlist based off the song 'brand new city' by mitski where she says "if i gave up on being pretty i wouldn't know how to be alive". a "narc crash" is basically when someone with npd's grandiose idea about themselves is shattered and they go into a deep depression bcs they've basically lost their sense of self. so the song 'brand new city' kind of reminded me of that experience and how it feels to be so hopelessly depressed but still desperately clinging on to a persona bcs you still want people to like you.

nick dunne: playlist from the perspective of nick dunne from gone girl (2014)

the night we met: songs that clay jensen from 13 reasons why would relate to or enjoy.

no alarms and no surprises: based on the song 'no surprises' by radiohead bcs that song reminds me of how much i wish life was just simple and quiet.

or maybe i was just a girl, interrupted: basically hell is a teenaged girl all over again but with slightly different songs and it's loosely based on daisy from girl, interrupted (1999)

overworked & underpaid: playlist for those who were born to slay but forced to work and study

pray for the best, prepare for the worst: based on detective loki from the movie prisoners (2013)

"you leave me alone now.": based off the film the hunt (2012), about a man who was falsely accused of a crime and how it ruined his life.

sometimes i think about writing a ballet au but it would literally just be technicals. none of the pretty aftermath of all that hard work where everyone is in ribbons. just purple bunions, agatha beating her toebox to death when she's in a bad mood, and simon snow never being normal about baz's feet.

this is the second time Jack Wolfe and his big brown eyes have played a character that’s supposed to have blue eys

im really surprised i dont see more discussion about the sun/cog motifs in fli and how they complement the moon motifs which have become a core part of the series' identity

it feels especially clear in the logo, where both the crescent moon (lunares) and the sun are present, as opposed to the original fantasy life logo which only had the moon.

what's also interesting is how the cog motifs present in mysteria's designs also resemble a sun somewhat, i think it's most obvious in the big cog that also seems to be ranoah's throne (that was also shown half-destroyed in the present day)

there's also this.... solar eclipse depiction(?) seen in the background behind the celestia statue where the strangelings are restored. the orientation of the crescent is also very reminiscent of celestia's hairpiece - makes sense, since the mural is near her statue

i talked abt this before on a priv account, but i feel like rem is meant to parallel yuelia just as the sun parallels the moon. i found it an interesting choice how l5 decided to make a whole new mc for fli when both fl3ds and flo were centered around yuelia. the opening of one of the first teasers (top) seems to reference yuelia's opening dialogue in fl3ds while supposedly being said by rem. it could just be to build fantasy life hype, especially with butterfly fluttering around in the background, but something tells me there has to be more to their connection

one of the more recent trailers (specifically the one from last year's vision) said we "saved" rem from something... feels similar to how the mc saved butterfly from pierre and butch at the start of fl3ds

i also want to point out once again that the flower rem wears in her hair is called a celestia's gift! which is yet another connection between her and yuelia. i swear im gonna be so annoying if it turns out rem and yuelia really do have something between them

also as thanks for reading through all of this ill also point out that the symbol on growler's head and the one on trip's helmet are quite similar
