Modern!Cregan stark x fem!reader

A/N: I was inspired by @valeskafics modern take on Cregan. She was lovely and gave me permission to use him as a hockey player like her fic! Shoutout to bel for getting me obsessed with another Stark man 😘 so inspiration creds to Bel

Warnings: Fluff, shy Cregan, public fingering, fem receiving (it’s at the end so if you don’t want to read that then skip and go to the last part), cussing, Viserys III being a whiny ass yes I made it a warning 😂

You met in college, junior year, psychology class. Cregan had transferred last year to your university because he was getting more playing time here. Your brother was on the hockey team with them. Elijah was a senior and took Cregan under his wing last year. You knew about Cregan, his hockey career, stats because of your brother.

The professor was teaching when the door busted open and Cregan walked in. He was a beautiful mess, his hair was tossed around from the unexpected wind storm. His shirt was sideways, his backpack was about to fall off his shoulders. He was blushing so bad too.

“Thank you for joining us, Mr. Stark” the professor rolled his eyes. Cregan mumbled something but he was looking for a seat. You sat your backpack down silently telling him to sit down.

Class ended and you walked out of the room and down the hall. Cregan watched you and decided to talk to you. He has seen you somewhere and he can’t figure it out. “Y/n, hey can I ask you something?”

“You just did” you deadpanned as you turn around to him

Cregan furrowed his eyebrows making you giggle, “What is it?”

“Uh are you Otter’s sister?” He asked slowly blinking

“Yeah little sister unfortunately” you joked

“Um so will you be at our next game? If you are I was wondering if you maybe wanted to uh go out with me som-time. Only if you want to” Cregan blushed

“Yes I’ll be there. Yes I’ll go out with you”, you smiled up at him

“What wait?! That’s great, I’ll text you later”, He smiled as he walked out

“Where you gonna get it from? Huh?” You giggled making him stop in his tracks walking back to you

“Right.. sorry I’m not really good with people” Cregan blushed.

“It’s okay, I’m not much of a people person either. Here give me your phone” you smirked

You and Creagn decided on a little restaurant on the strip down from campus. It was a little intimate for a first date. Everyone went there and they had really good.

Cregan decided to impress you so he got a spicy bowl of noodles and veggies. You and the waitress looked at each but she smiled and told us she would get it right in.

The food came out soon and you were smiling waiting for Cregan to eat his noodles.

Cregan took a bite and his blue eyes widened as the heat tingled his tongue

“Spicy enough for you?” You smiled

The date went good and he was walking you back home to your apartment you shared with your best friend, Daenerys and her brother, Viserys. And her boyfriend Dario doesn't pay rent but lives there practically. He can cook pretty much everything so you weren’t complaining. Viserys was unlocking the door when you two exited the elevator. He saw you and Cregan and grinned as he shut the door. “Who’s that?” Cregan asked

“Viserys, my best friend’s older annoying brother. Pain in my ass too” You giggled

Cregan looked around the hallway and could tell it was a richer apartment complex, “Uh how do you afford this?”

“Oh Vis and Dany’s dad pays for it.. I didn’t want to live in the dorms after freshman year” you said.

Cregan nodded, “So are you gonna be at the game tomorrow?”

“Yeah I’ll be there” you smiled

Two months had passed you two were getting pretty serious. As it got closer to the your brothers graduation you were worried that Cregan would dump you for someone else for next year. Cregan was in your room as you went to get Dany’s Amazon package at the door. You walked back in sitting on your bed at the bottom corner, Cregan was at the pillows laying on your octopus squishmallow.

“Hey don’t lay on her like that” you jerked it from under him.

“She’s comfortable” Cregan smirked

You sat the squish on the chair that was next to the bed, “Poor thing is misshapen now”

Cregan drugged you up the bed by your arms as he laid on you on his chest, “I’m sorry I’ll shape her back before I leave” Cregan kissed your head.

It was quiet as you laid on Cregan’s chest listening to his heartbeat

“I love you” Cregan blurted out

“I love you too” You smiled at his chest

Suddenly there was a porn graphic moan coming from Viserys’ room making you and Cregan look at each other and laughed

“Did he forget we were here?” Cregan laughed rubbing his hand on your back

“Maybe but he doesn’t care either” You replied

————- it was Elijah’s graduation, you and your younger sister were talking and just catching up as you didn’t go home for spring break. Suddenly she turned her gaze to someone walking down the steps. You followed her gaze to Cregan. Elijah had invited him and you completely forgot about it. Cregan was in a white button up and black slacks and black dress shoes. You were gonna say hi but your father saw him and started talking to him about hockey. Cregan would talk about hockey for hours if you got him on that topic. You sighed and turned back to your sister. Elijah’s graduation ended and your parents were taking everyone out to eat.

You sat down with Cregan finally seeing him today, “Hi baby, you look beautiful as always” Cregan whispered in your ear

“Hi”

“Awh don’t be like that, princess” Cregan sat his hand on your knee rubbing it

“Like what?” You replied looking at the menu

“You’re jealous aren’t you? Jealous that I sat with your dad and talked to him. I am in the right ballpark, princess?” Cregan smirked

“You could’ve said hi first” you sighed

“I’ll remember that next time, now don’t be so stubborn” Cregan’s hand went up your leg more, the dress you chose was riding up as you sat down.

You let a breathe out as he rubbed his hand up and down your leg

You were talking to your sister again completely forgetting about Cregan’s and his rouge hand.. out of instinct you spread your legs open as Cregan reached between your thighs. Cregan smirked as he slowly trailed up your legs and pulled your underwear to the side. Then it hit you how far he was, you turned to look at him but he had his head turned as he talked to your brother and a fellow teammate. His hands still in your panties, he rubbed your clit, making you bite your finger.

He had two fingers in you slowly taking them out and shoving them back in, his hand thumb played with your clit. You knew your tongue would be sore tomorrow from all the bite marks you were giving it. You groaned but covered it up as a cough as he picked up his pace. “You alright, honey?” Your mother asked

You were almost there but the waitress brought everyone’s food. Cregan took his hand away and rubbed your juices on his napkin with a shit eating grin. After dinner you rode back with Cregan, he was walking you up to your apartment.

“So the year is over, are you gonna dump me for someone else for next year?” You asked but didn’t realize you had said it

“No, I want to be with you as long as you let me. I love you Y/n a lot actually, you still make me nervous. You’re a good girl I like being with you” Cregan brushed a piece of your hair back

“I love you too” you blushed

“I take it, I still make you nervous, don’t I ?” Cregan asked with a gentle smile

“Just a bit” You giggled

Cregan bent down and kissed you holding your back in his hand holding you close to him. You held a hand on his chest as you kissed him back.

“Call me tomorrow, huh?” Cregan squeezed your cheek gently as he smiled

“Yeah” you opened the door, Viserys whined as you hit him with the door not realizing he was there. “You jackass! I told you to quit spying” Dario laughed.

Cregan chuckled, “See ya love”

You blushed as he walked away and you decided to check on Viserys and his possible injuries.. “Let me see,” you sighed, shutting the door. Viserys was holding his cheek, “It’s fine probably will be bruised later”

“Sorry I didn’t mean to hurt the pretty dragon’s face” you joked but honestly felt bad.

“Dragon? What?” Dario asked from his place on the couch

AN: So. It’s been a while. Sorry about that. I don’t know why or how it has com to this... I apologize. I’ve had this chapter ready to post since I posted chapter 8... not 9. 8. So... Sorry about that.

“Mommy? Are you okay?”, Elijah as you were in the bathroom, giving him a bath. Alcina had given you permission to bathe him in their huge bathtub.

You sat on the floor next to the tub, watching him, your chin on the edge and he could see your sadness. He had always been good at that. “I’m okay honey. Don’t worry about me okay?”

“But I do mommy. I love you mommy”

You smiled and stroked his wet hair. “I love you too honey. Hurry up and wash your hair. Alcina said dinner is almost ready”

He nodded and washed his hair. You watched, making sure he did all of it and once you were satisfied, you helped him out of the tub, dried his body with one of the towels. You took the bag Alcina had helped you pack and pulled out his pajamas, knowing he loved to wear it at night. It was with the Captain America shield on.

He smiled wide as he noticed it and you smiled at his enthusiasm. You helped him putting it on and once you were done, you walked out of the bathroom and you placed the bag in Alcina’s bedroom.

You walked down the stairs and met Alcina and the girls in the living room. Alcina walked over to you and smiled. “You ready?”

You nodded and she led you to the dining room, the table already set up. “Mommy?”

“Yes honey?”

“May I sit with Bela?”, Elijah asked softly and you smiled nodding.

“Of course honey”

Elijah beamed and walked over to Bela, taking a seat next to her. You sat down next to Alcina and she gave your leg a soft squeeze under the table.

The dinner went smooth enough, Elijah telling you all about his day, the girls happy to listen even though he already told them everything in the car.

To your surprise, Alcina had also made dessert and Elijah smiled wide with a grin as he saw it was ice cream. “Mommy look, there i-ice cream!”

You smiled nodding your head and Alcina turned to the boy. “What flavor do you want sweetheart?”

“May I have strawberry please?”, he asked and Alcina smiled.

“Of course sweetheart”

She poured him a spoon full of ice cream and she turned to you, mentally asking if she could give him more. You gently shook your head and she nodded placing the ice cream back in the table.

“Look mommy!”

“I see sweetheart. It looks delicious”

The three girls smiled at his enthusiasm, happy to see something different at the dinner table for once.

Once dessert was eaten, the girls decided to watch a movie and they happily let Elijah choose one. He chose Finding Nemo and you began watching it, you and Alcina sitting on the couch while the four kids were on the floor with billows and blankets.

After an hour, Alcina noticed the time and mentally slapped herself for not keeping an eye on it. “It’s late. How about you and Elijah stay the night?”, she asked softly in a whisper into your ear and you looked at the time as well.

“Only of you want to”, she whispered once more, assuring you, there was always a way out. She would never pressure you to anything you weren’t comfortable with.

“No you’re right. It’s late. Eli?”

The boy immediately turned to your his full attention on you only. “What do you say we stay the night?”

That made Elijah smile wide, his eyes wider than ever before. “Yay! Can I sleep in Dani’s room? She says she has a big bed with many pillows”

“Have you asked Dani if you can?”, you asked and Elijah turned to Daniela silently asking and Daniela smiled wide.

“Of course you can”

Elijah beamed and turned to you who smiled back at him. “Then it’s settled”, Alcina said and you turned to her. You stared into her eyes, feeling yourself falling more and more in love.

“Oh my god just kiss already”, Daniela groaned and turned Elijah’s head so he wasn’t looking. You chuckled and covered Alcina’s cheek, bringing her closer. Your lips met in a soft kiss and you smiled against them.

Once bedtime came, you went to Daniela’s room, seeing Elijah laying next to Daniela in the girl’s bed.

“Hey, you still okay sleeping in here?”, you asked making sure he still wanted to.

“Yeah mommy. And Bela and Cass is gon join us”, he said and you smiled, indeed having noticed the mattresses on the floor.

“Well that’s nice of them”

As if on que, the two girls walked in, in their pajamas, carrying their covers and pillow.

“Now you all behave and be quiet please”, Alcina came and said and they all nodded.

“Yes mother”

“Yes mama”

“Yeah mom”

“Yes Alcia”

You smiled and your son’s effort to say Alcina’s name. Little difficult but you loved how hard he tried.

“Good night my darlings”, Alcina whispered and they all smiled at her.

“Good night mommy”, Elijah said looking at you and you smiled at him.

“Good night honey”

You both left the room and could immediately hear giggles once the door was closed. Alcina smiled and took your hand in hers, leading you to her bedroom.

“How are you feeling?”, she asked as she closed the door behind you and you sighed holding onto her hand.

“Much better thank you”

“I’m glad to hear that”

You met her eyes and she brought you closer by her arm around your waist. “Do you have anything to sleep in? T-shirt or something?”

You nodded and went to your bag, putting it on the bed. “Just a small t-shirt”, you said and Alcina nodded.

“You can use the bathroom to change if you wish to do so”

That made you frown for a moment before nodding, though you showed no indication to go there at all. You simply took off your current t-shirt and Alcina watched with open mouth, eyes dilating.

You couldn’t help smirking at her reaction and stopped mid-changing walking towards her in your now t-shirt free upper body. You walked closer to her and stood in front of her. You kept eye contact as you took her hand and brought it around your body, making her fingers land on the bra’s lock.

Alcina’s gasped softly making you smirk and covered her cheek with your other hand. You felt her fingers touch the back of the bra and it was open. You smiled and removed it slowly, revealing your breasts to her for the first time.

“God”

You smiled at her reaction, her eyes closed in disbelief and her moan just made it all so much better. “Alcina”

That seemed to do it as she leaned down and kissed you hard. You immediately kissed her back, feeling all of her emotions in the kiss. She gently moved you towards the bed and gently pushed you down. You took her along with you and she landed on top of you.

“That top needs to go”, you whispered against her lips and she nodded, rolling you around so you were on top. She sat up and you helped her taking off her shirt, opening the buttons. Once it was off you threw it across the room and pulled back from the kiss, admiring her body.

“You’re beautiful”, you whispered and she smiled covering your cheeks. She moved down your jaw and neck, down your sides and landed on your back pulling you closer.

“Nothing compared to your beauty my love”, she whispered and you smiled kissing her once more.

“Are you sure you want to continue this?”, she suddenly asked and you furrowed your eyebrows making her chuckle. “You told me Saturday that you wanted to wait after our second date”

That made your chuckle, kissing her deeply. “I think we’re way past second date Alcina”

Alcina chuckled. “That is very true”

“But thank you”, you whispered and she smiled, why you thanked her. She was still asking for permission. Without another word you brought your hand around her body and opened her bra as well, making her gasp.

“That’s better”, you whispered and pulled her bra down her arms, her breasts revealing themselves. You threw it away and stared down at her breast with want filling your eyes.

Bela was the first to wake the next morning and checked on Elijah, making sure he was secured safely on the bed before leaving the room. She got ready in her own bedroom and once she was down, she went downstairs to start the coffee.

What she didn’t expect was to find you already sitting by the kitchen island, sipping on your own cup.

“Oh. Sorry”, Bela apologized and you chuckled.

“No worries. You want some coffee?”, you offered and Bela nodded. You smiled and took a cup for her. You filled it with coffee before giving it to her, making her smile.

“Thank you”, Bela whispered and took a sip.

“Actually I should thank you”, you said and Bela furrowed her eyebrows at you. “For picking up Eli yesterday. I was at a low point and your mom knew I couldn’t get him in my state”, you explained and Bela nodded.

“It’s obvious he adores the three of you. And especially Alcina. You three picking him up from daycare was all he could talk about in his bath yesterday”, you continued with a chuckle and that made Bela smile.

“Dani didn’t talk about anything else either. She’s very fond of him”, she told you in small voice and you smiled at the thought.

“So are you”, you pointed out which made Bela look up from her coffee and you smiled at her. “You may hide your feelings sometimes Bela, but you’re very easy to read”

Bela sighed and looked down at her fingers. You sighed and looked down at as well, debating wether you should continue this conversation. But wanting to get the know the girl and come closer to her, it was exactly what you did.

“My wife Carol and I got Elijah via a donor. Carol wanted the experience of pregnancy. I let her and it was the best nine months she had ever experienced. She loved it. All of it. From the throw ups to the huge kicks on her bladder”

Bela chuckled, imagining Elijah being a kicker more than anyone. “Carol didn’t survive the birth. Her body was in too much pain. She couldn’t take it”

“I’m sorry”, Bela whispered making you give her a soft smile.

“Eli doesn’t know. I still don’t know when or how I will tell him”

Bela stared back at you, waiting for you to continue, and you gave her a smile. “He’s never asked why it’s always been us. Never curious about why he didn’t have a dad or siblings. But having you three in his life… it has given something”

Bela smiled at that. It had definitely changed something for them as well when Elijah came and said hi to them the first time.

“Thank you Bela”

And with a squeeze on her hand, you walked towards the stairs. “Wait”, Bela stopped you touch and you turned around.

“I know I wasn’t… supportive… of you and my mother’s relationship. And I was wrong”

You stared back at her, Bela looking down for a moment before taking a deep breath. “Many people have tried to make my mother fall in love with them, tried to be with her because of her money and fame. Meeting someone who actually cares about her is… unusual”

You nodded in understanding and walked towards her. “I get it. Being famous, everybody wants a piece”

Bela nodded and you smiled at her. “Can I admit something?”, you said and Bela nodded.

“I haven’t heard any of her music”, you said with a cringe face and Bela widened her eyes.

“No… mother is gonna kill you”

“Please don’t tell her. Jazz is just not my thing you know?”

Bela actually laughed and you blushed looking away. “Oh she will definitely kill you”, she said laughing and walked over the couch. You looked up the stairs, making sure Alcina wasn’t coming before walking over for the couch, sitting next to Bela.

“Just tell me if it’s good”

Bela chuckled as she turned for the tv. “It’s very good. I love it”, she said and you sighed leaned back in the seat.

“Fuck”, you hissed and Bela chuckled again taking a sip of her coffee. “But I really like her”, you said eventually and Bela turned to you, eyeing you with a knowing look. “What?”

“You don’t like my mother”, she stated and you frowned at her, but she interrupted you before you could say anything. “You love her”

You stared back at her, eyes filling with tears. “I…”

“It’s okay. My mother is a lovable woman. I understand”

You sighed looking down at your fingers. You knew Bela was right. But were you ready to admit it? And if not to the others, were you ready to admit it to yourself?

Elijah woke next, looking around the bedroom. He saw Dani and Cassandra still sleeping, but Bela was gone. He sat up in the bed, scratching his eyes before walking around the mattresses and out of the room. He looked around in the hallway, noticing the door to Alcina’s bedroom stood open.

He walked over and looked inside, seeing half of the bed empty. He looked back for a moment before walking further inside. He walked over to the bed and looked up, noticing how tall the bed actually was.

Sighing he looked around the room, trying to find something to stand on. He smiled wide as he noticed your bag in the corner. He walked over and took the one of the handles, dragging it over to the bed. He stepped up on it and it was just enough for him to drag his leg up onto the bed and getting on top of it.

Smiling in his small victory, he turned to see Alcina sleeping soundless. He smiled and crawled over to her and sneaked his way down under the covers. Automatically and out of instinct, Alcina brought her arms around his small form. Elijah placed his hand on her chest, feeling the heat from her body warmth and soon fell asleep in her arms.

It didn’t take long for Daniela and Cassandra to wake after that. Cassandra gaped as she woke and turned to see Daniela staring back at her. “What are you looking at dipshit?”

“At you, ugly face”

Cassandra sat up and took her pillow, before throwing it at Daniela, the redhead groaning as it hit her.

“Ugh, who needs that many parties?”

Drake shot his wife an apologetic look as she sat down on one of the chairs.

“You know I hate parties like that too but we’re Eleanor’s godparents and we really need to be here for her,” Drake said as Riley rolled her eyes. She loved Eleanor like her own child but these past two years, Eleanor had more parties than Riley ever did. And Riley was almost twenty eight.

“You know what, on one hand I find it adorable how Dani and Liam are in love with their daughter but on the other hand, who on Earth throws a party because their child said their first word? Or got their first tooth? Or because of their name day? Or for their first hundred days?” Riley shook her head, “I’m slowly becoming as grumpy and anti-social as you, Drake.”

“Hey!” Drake turned to her and narrowed his eyes. “You’re saying that now but I’m pretty sure you’ll be the same once our son is born.”

Riley sighed in hopes to look annoyed but she couldn’t hide a small smile that formed on her face. She rubbed her belly a few times before she felt familiar kicks.

Drake and Riley didn’t want to follow the tradition to find out the gender on the day of the labor and a few months ago, they found out they were going to have a son. It was a very emotional day for both of them, but especially for Drake when Riley told him she wanted to name their son Jackson.

It was their little secret for about four months before Riley started showing and Dani realized her sister was sipping on a non-alcoholic drink instead of champagne on Dani and Liam’s wedding anniversary party.

Yes, Dani and Liam loved throwing parties. Ever since Dani married Liam, he kept finding reasons to celebrate his wife, and then once their daughter was born, to celebrate Eleanor as well. The palace has never been a happier place.

Dani was a great Queen and even a better mother. The beginnings weren’t easy though. A few days after the photos of very pregnant Queen hit the international news, Dani and Riley’s father did an interview about the girls’ childhood, throwing a lot of shade on them and telling everyone some of their secrets. He kept referring to himself as the Royal Grandfather until Liam issued a statement saying that Mr. Brooks was not to be trusted and threatened Mr. Brooks with legal actions if he kept telling the press stories about Dani and Riley. That shut him up completely.

When Dani was living her dream life as a mother and wife, Riley was living her dream too. The restaurant was completely renovated as Barthelemy decided to pay for it to compensate what his crazy wife had done. Him, Madeleine and Godfrey were in jail, each for a different reason but none of them innocent.

“If I ever decide to throw a party celebrating our son’s first tooth, please lock me up with Madeleine in jail.”

Drake chuckled at her words but before he could assure her that nothing would make him get rid of her, Riley’s face lit up as she spotted her sister.

“Dani! You look stunning!” she exclaimed and Drake turned to see his sister-in-law.

“Thank you,” Dani blushed. “So do you.”

“Yeah yeah, I know I look like a whale,” Riley rolled her eyes and Dani shook her head.

“If that’s what whales look like then I must admit they are the prettiest animals ever. Especially in that dress.”

“Agreed.” Drake raised his drink to Dani and Riley frowned when she noticed something.

“Is that juice, Dani? Why aren’t you drinking champagne like every—” Riley’s eyes widened. “Oh my gosh, are you… again?!”

“Shhh,” Dani shushed her sister. “Yes. But no one knows about it yet.”

“Does Liam know?” Riley asked and Dani bit her lower lip as she glanced at her husband. From the look that Liam gave Dani and a big smile on his face, Riley already knew the answer.

“We found out two weeks ago,” Dani admitted sheepishly. “You’re going to be an auntie again for little Elijah or Elizabeth.”

“You already picked names?” Drake asked confused.

“Well… When I was pregnant with Eleanor it was obvious we wanted to name her after Liam’s mother. But Liam wanted to give me other options in case I changed my mind and prepared a list of names and we picked out a few that we liked best so… yeah.”

“And obviously they all start with ‘E’,” Riley raised her eyebrow.

“I thought it was a cute idea,” Dani admitted and Drake shook his head. Dani and Liam were really made for each other.

“Well, then I guess you won’t have too many kids since there’s not many names starting with ‘E’.” Riley noticed and took a sip of her juice.

“Actually…” Riley looked as her sister turned red. “Liam prepared a whole list for me and there’s at least twenty names on it and he said, umm, I mean… It would a shame to waste it.”

“Twenty?!” Riley exclaimed and Dani had to shush her again. “You two are going to overpopulate our planet!” She murmured and Drake silently agreed with her. “Although… not gonna lie, the world needs more people like you so I’m okay with it. Just… please, don’t throw so many parties for them, please!”

Dani hugged her sister and kissed her on the forehead. “I promise! Besides, I’ll be too busy attending parties for your kids,” she teased and walked away before Riley could say anything. Riley watched as her sister joined Liam and how he started whispering something to his wife that made her giggle.

“Uh uh, right. No parties for my kids until they’re eighteen,” Riley massaged her belly and Drake put his arms around her.

“So… kids, huh?”

Riley looked at him. “Kids. Maybe not twenty,’ she shook her head, “but I wouldn’t mind having more than one with you.”

“Even if you feel like a whale?” Drake grinned and Riley shoved him playfully. Oh, how much she loved him. And seeing the love his eyes, she could tell he felt the same.

“Well, that’s the price I’m willing to pay.”

“We’re coming now mother”, Bela called out from the top of the stairs, her backpack hanging on her shoulder. “Dani! Come on!”

“I’m coming!”, the younger sister practically yelled and Alcina rolled her eyes with a heavy sigh.

“Those girls will be the death of me”, she muttered making Elijah chuckle. Alcina gave him a smile and kissed his forehead, making him smile, before standing from her seat on the ground.

“And remember to come straight home after school”, she called out. Elijah looked up at her at the mention of his name and Alcina looked back down at him, giving him a soft smile. She opening her palm for him to take and he asked instantly took her hand into his own.

“Yeah mom, we will”, Daniela said coming almost running down the stairs, Bela walking behind her.

“Good. I’ll take Elijah to the car”, she informed and opened the front door, letting Eli walk out first.

“Mama! No wait I’m here!”, a voice suddenly called out and they all turned to see Cassandra coming almost half running down the stairs.

She hissed in pain the moment she stopped and Alcina sighed deep. Cassandra had the past week tried to get out of the house. The doctors had told her to stay calm and not do any big movements, so Alcina had of course been adamant on having her daughter to stay home.

“Cassandra darling take it easy”

Alcina was about to walk up the stairs but Cassandra groaned, stopping her. “But mama I can’t stay home any longer, I’m going insane!”, she argued.

Alcina sighed and turned to the others, her hand still firmly holding Elijah’s. Bela gave her mother a look of understanding yet Alcina could see the small hint of asking for permission.

The oldest triplet knew her sister was hurting and she understood their mother’s actions. But she also understood her sister. Sitting home alone and not able to do anything was a nightmare. Especially when you’re limited because of injury.

“I’ll look after her mother. And you know Cassandra. She’ll take it easy”, she reasoned and Alcina took one last look at her brunette daughter who gave her mother a more pleading look than ever before.

Alcina hadn’t seen her begging for permission so deeply since the girls were merely babies, begging for ice cream.

“Fine. But one call about anything and you got yourself another week at home”, she warned and Cassandra smiled wide despite the warning and made small jumps on her feet.

“Thank you mama!”

Alcina sighed and turned to Elijah who was staring at Cassandra. “Yeah yeah, let’s go”, Daniela said walking down the rest of the stairs and out through the door.

Bela rolled her eyes and turned to Cassandra who looked at the staircase steps. “You need help getting down?”, the blonde asked and the brunette turned to her.

“No”, she scoffed with a roll of her eyes and Bela raised an eyebrow. Cassandra sighed and looked back at the staircase. She took a deep breath and took one step down, only to hiss in pain.

“Alright, back to bed”, Alcina immediately said, letting go of Elijah’s hand, walking up the stairs.

“No, mama I’m fine!”, Cassandra protested but Alcina was having none of it.

“Now Cassandra”

Cassandra stared at her mother, the determination in the woman’s eyes bigger than ever before. The girl knew she didn’t stand a chance. She sighed in defeat and hung her head. “I’m sorry mama”, she cried softly.

Alcina sighed and took her daughter into her arms gently without hurting her, hearing soft protest from the girl. “No mama I’m too old for that”

“It’s okay darling. It’s okay”, Alcina whispered before walking to the girl’s bedroom.

Bela and Elijah stood left in the entrance hall and Bela sighed walking down the rest of her steps and opened her palm for Elijah to take. “Come on, let’s go to the car. Mother will be there in a second”

“Mother will be here in a second”, he repeated with a smile and Bela smiled at the action. She loved how easily Elijah had taken the title to him. She knew you and her mother were together and that you loved each other, but to hear Elijah call Alcina his mother was something she had not expected. Though she didn’t complain.

“So how is your daughter?”, Jane asked as you went to the cafeteria for your break, getting in the line for the buffet.

“She’s fine”, you answered with a shrug not noticing the title. “She’s bored out of her mind. Being so athletic, it’s hard for her to be at home doing nothing”

“I get that. One time when I got injured doing basketball, my mother forced me to stay at home and watch the whole series of Sex and the City with her”, Jane said which made you chuckle.

“Alcina tried to make Cassandra watch True Blood with her but Cassandra was not going anywhere near that show”

Jane snorted making you laugh. You reached the start of the buffet and took a plate, giving one to Jane. “God there’re mashed potatoes today”, Jane moaned, holding the plate in front of her mouth and you rolled your eyes playfully.

Jane loved mashed potatoes and you knew it was her favorite. Funny enough it was Elijah’s favorite as well.

“The food here is surprisingly good for a hospital though”

“Mommy!”

You and Jane and some of your colleagues turned to the source of the sound and saw Elijah walking towards you, Alcina right next to him, his hand in hers. “Is that Alcina Dimitrescu?”, a voice said in a husked voice and you rolled your eyes. You gave Jane your plate before stepping forwards.

“Oh my god it’s Alcina Dimitrescu”, another voice said and you couldn’t stop yourself from chuckling. Elijah let go of Alcina’s hand and ran the rest of the way. You opened your arm and let him run into you. You smiled wide and pulled him up.

“How is my little Superman?”

Elijah laughed as you kissed his cheek several times, Jane and the other doctors smiling at the sight. Alcina walked the rest of the way towards you and you turned to her giving her a soft smile. “Hello darling”, she greeted.

“Hi”

She covered your cheek and kissed you softly. “Elijah wanted to say hi before daycare”

“Well I can’t reject that, can I?”, you said with a light chuckle and kissed Elijah’s temple.

“Mama said we could-could get ice-ice cream”, the boy said breathlessly and you raised an eyebrow turning to your girlfriend.

“I promised Cassandra I would bring her some ice cream when I’m picking Elijah up later today”

“Of course, how did it go this morning?”

Alcina sighed with a tired look in her eyes. “Horrible. She kept trying to convince me to let her go to school, said she was ready but her pain…”, she trailed off but you knew. The girl was stubborn.

“She’s bored”, Alcina finished with a big sigh and you nodded. You felt Elijah laying his head on your shoulder and you brought your hand to the back of his head, stroking his hair softly.

“Let mama take you to daycare”, you whispered to Eli and the boy nodded and held out his arms towards Alcina who smiled taking him into her arms.

“I’ll be home late today”, you said and Alcina nodded. She covered your cheek and leaned down.

“Save lives my love”, she whispered before giving you a kiss that made you breathless. Not that it was deep or anything, but the feelings Alcina put into it was everything you never knew you needed.

“Make the world smile with your voice”

Alcina let out a soft chuckle and pulled back fully. “Say bye to mommy”, she said turning to Elijah and the boy waved at you making you smile, waving back at him.

You watched them walk out of the cafeteria and smiled to yourself as you heard Elijah asking to Alcina about getting strawberry ice cream. You noticed the amount of eyes on you and looked around, some of them having their mouths open. “What?”, you asked and they all kept staring.

“Alright people, nothing more to see, move along”, Jane suddenly said as she came over to you and gave you your plate filled with spaghetti and some mashed potatoes.

Your colleagues did as they were told and continued on with their day. “Thanks”, you said and Jane gave you a smile.

“You have no idea how much will power it took me to hold myself back from her”

You laughed sitting down by one of the tables you found. “And here you are, kissing the woman! You have any idea how lucky you are?”

“Yeah. Yeah I do”

Alcina walked through her front door and immediately heard the tv on in the living room. She took off her jacket and walked up the small steps to the living room , discovering Cassandra laying on the couch, sleeping soundless.

Alcina smiled at the sight and walked over to the coffee table and took the remote, turning off the tv. She walked over to a corner filled with blankets and took one, putting it over Cassandra. Once she knew Cassandra was covered enough, she leaned down, kissing her forehead softly. “I love you”, she whispered.

She walked to the kitchen and leaned against the counter, taking a deep breath. Life was… interesting to say the least. So much has happened over the last few weeks and Alcina could feel it was taking a toll on her mental health.

She’s known you for only two months and you’ve already moved in. Elijah called her mama now and Alcina loved everything about it. She loved Elijah like her own and she loved you more than anything.

A ringing tone made a jump and she turned to see her phone on the counter ringing. She sighed picking it up and recognized the voice immediately. “Hello Markos… Yes I have time… of course, I’ll see you in ten minutes”

She hung up and walked out of the kitchen, seeing Cassandra still asleep on the couch. She smiled and walked over to her, kissing her forehead gently before leaving the mansion, making sure to write note, mentioning her leaving.

She took the car and drove the ten minute drive it took to reach her wine yard. She parked by the parking lot and got out of the car, the guards by the entrance immediately recognizing her.

“Miss Dimitrescu”, they both greeted her and Alcina gave them a smile.

“Lawrence, Taylor. How are you today?”

“Very good ma’am. The yard is blooming this year”, Taylor answered and Alcina smiled.

“So Markos tells me”, she said turning it Lawrence. “How are the wife and kids Lawrence?”

“Excellent ma’am, thank you for asking. And yours? Markos told us about your little Cassandra. Hope she’s alright?”

Alcina gave a soft smile and squeezed the man’s shoulder. “She’s healing, thank you Lawrence. Have a good day gentlemen”, she greeted them goodbye before walking inside the house. She was immediately greeted by other guards standing around the house, bottles of her wine standing on almost every shelf.

She greeted them all by name, making them feel seen and appreciated. That was one of the most important priorities in this company. For everyone to be seen and heard. She appreciated every single one of her workers and she was determined to let them know that.

“Miss Dimitrescu”, a voice said and Alcina turned to see a woman walking towards her. This woman was new.

“I apologize, do I know you?”, Alcina asked politely and the woman chuckled.

“No miss, I’m Violet, Markos’ daughter”, she introduced herself and Alcina smiled.

“Oh, Markos never told me had a daughter”

“No, he never talks about me”, the woman said with a sad look on her face. Alcina gave her a sympathetic smile and stood taller.

“Well he is wrong in doing so”, she said making Violet blush before walking towards Markos’ office. She knocked, waiting for an invitation before walking in, seeing the man sitting by his desk, his dark brown eyes glued on the papers in front of him.

He looked up and met Alcina’s eyes, a big smile on his face. “Alcina! Thank you for coming in such short notice”, he said with a smile, standing from his seat.

Alcina held out her hand, indicating for him to sit back down and he did with a flat smile. “So what seems to be the problem?”, she asked firmly and Markos.

“Your wine is lacking Alcina”, he said and Alcina frowned.

“Excuse me?”

Markos sighed and pulled out a file, opening it. He scrolled through the papers and found a specific page. He pulled it out of the file and handed it to Alcina.

“The last six months’ sale. Fallen by almost forty percent”, he said and Alcina hummed as she read the numbers.

“We need something new Alcina. Maidens blood obviously isn’t it anymore”

“I see”, she commented, mostly to herself. Markos sighed and stood from his seat. He walked around the desk and leaned against the desk in front of the woman.

“Well I believe it’s time for some new… aroma”, she said the last word slowly and Markos gave a smile.

“Indeed”

Cassandra woke to the sound of knocking and opened her eyes, immediately spotting the note on the coffee table. She sat up and could instantly recognize her mother’s handwriting, telling her she was visiting her wine yard and would be back soon.

The knocking came again and Cassandra groaned to herself as she stood from the couch, pain still somewhat unbearable. She walked slowly to the door and opened it gently, immediately recognizing the guest.

“Hayley?”

“Cassandra! Thank god you’re okay”, her girlfriend Hayley said and Cassandra sighed letting her step inside. She closed the door after her and Hayley immediately brought her hand to the girl’s cheek, bringing her in for a soft kiss. Cassandra happily but painfully accepted it and kissed her back.

“I’m so sorry baby, I didn’t know he was following me”, Hayley apologized. Cassandra sighed and brought her in for a soft hug.

“I don’t wanna talk about”, she whispered and Hayley nodded in understanding. Cassandra took a hold of her hand and walked to the couch, sitting down, Hayley following without a word.

Cassandra gently pushed her back against the back of the couch and made herself comfortable on the couch before laying up against the girl. Hayley sighed and brought her arms around her girlfriend, pulling her closer.

“I love you”, she whispered and Cassandra sighed heavily against her as she got them under the blanket.

“Love you too”, she mumbled before letting herself fall asleep, desperate to get rid of the damn pain.

Hayley sat in the couch, letting herself feel Cassandra’s heartbeat against her chest, the girl’s soft breathing against her neck.

Suddenly the door burst open and Daniela and Bela walked inside. “All I’m saying is, it won’t hurt to give it a shot”, Daniela said, completely oblivious to the couple on the couch. But Bela looked over and her eyes met Hayley’s, the girl widening her eyes at the sisters.

“Dani”, Bela said stopping her sister and the red head turned to her sister, noticing she was staring at followed her line of sight, discovering the girl as well.

“What the hell are you doing here?”, she yelled which made Cassandra open her eyes, now fully awake.

“Dani shut up!”, she yelled standing from the couch, hissing.

“No, what the hell is she doing here?!”

It was obvious Daniela was being protective in this moment and Cassandra knew that. But she also knew it wasn’t Hayley who hurt her.

“Daniela stop”, Bela tried to stop her sister, but with no luck.

“She came to see me!”, Cassandra defended, Hayley now standing behind her. “She feels bad for what her ex did to me. She wanted to make sure I was okay!”

Daniela was pissed. It was obvious in the way her eyes scanned Hayley. There was no remorse, no excuses to be made, nothing. But the red head knew she couldn’t just throw the girl out.

So she stormed up the stairs to her bedroom leaving the others. Cassandra sighed and turned to Bela who stood still, looking up at the stairs where Daniela had just been.

“You hate her too?”, Cassandra asked and Bela turned to her sister.

“No. I hate her ex”, was all she said before leaving up the stairs as well. Cassandra sighed and watched her oldest sister leave as well before turning to Hayley who looked scared back at her.

“They hate me”, she whispered and Cassandra sighed.

“No. They’re just angry. Protective”

Hayley couldn’t help but smile and covered her cheek, Cassandra meeting her eyes. “Of course they are. You’re their sister”

Elijah sat in the playroom with the other kids, drawing on the drawing table. He smiled at his artwork, feeling proud.

“That’s very good Elijah”, a voice said and the boy turned to one of the nurses who worked at the daycare and smiled at her.

“This is my family!”, he exclaimed with a big smile and pointed at the figures on his drawing.

“This is Dani, Cassi and Bela”, he told pointing at the three figures on the right.

“And is that you?”, the nurse asked pointing at the smaller figure in between two of the figures. Elijah nodded and pointed at the two figures on the left side of the drawing.

“And this is mommy and mama”

The nurse furrowed her eyebrows. As far as she knew Elijah didn’t have another parent but you.

“Oh. And who uhm… who-who is mama?”

“Mama Alcia! She and mommy are my-my-my mommies”

The nurse stared for a moment before nodding standing fully back on her legs. “Well that’s nice Elijah”

“You have two mommies?”, a kid suddenly asked and Elijah turned to her nodding. “But where is your daddy?”

“Hazel!”, the nurse hissed and stepped down in front of the girl. “We don’t ask people that!”

“But he has no daddy”

“Nothing’s wrong with that Hazel”

Elijah sat still, watching the nurse and the girl talking. But he had stopped listening the moment she had asked him. He knew what a daddy was. He had seen the men coming and getting some of the other kids. But he never thought much of it. To him it was just his mommy. And now mama Alcia.

“Elijah?”

Elijah turned at the familiar voice and met Alcina’s eyes, the woman squatting in front of him. Alcina could immediately sense something was wrong, the look in his eyes completely lost. Alcina’s own eyes hardened and turned to the nurse who now stood in doorway. How long had he been like this?

“What is wrong with my son?”, she hissed and the nurse swallowed hard and began explaining the situation. The more she explained the softer Alcina got.

She couldn’t blame a child for asking. They were curious by nature. She had told you that the day she saw you in the grocery store. “Thank you”, she simply said once the nurse was done explaining and walked back to Elijah.

“Come darling. Let’s go get that ice cream”, she said taking him into her arms and Elijah muttered a soft “okay” as he looked back at the girl by the drawing table.

Once they were in the parking lot, it was only then he got the courage to speak and turned to Alcina. “Mama?”

“Yes darling?”

“Do you know where my-my daddy is?”

Alcina sighed, expecting the question to pop up and kissed his temple. “I’m not the person to answer that honey. You can ask your mommy that tomorrow okay?”

Elijah nodded and Alcina was happy he didn’t push it any further. She may be a mother to three teenage girls and now a five year old boy, but how the hell was she ever gonna explain that story to him?

They drove to the ice cream man in silence and Alcina was afraid Elijah was too sad or too distracted to get an ice cream. But the moment his eyes landed on the ice cream man he now knew so well, his eyes widened and smirk grew immediately.

“Mama I want straw-strawberry”, he said pointing at the ice cream in front of them. Alcina smiled and ordered the ice cream for him. Elijah happily ate it while Alcina went to the store. She got a shopping cart and put Elijah in the baby seat, letting him sit to himself while she bought they things they needed at home.

“Mama?”, he suddenly spoke through a bite of ice cream and Alcina looked down at him as she took a bag of rice.

“Yes darling?”

“Are you and mommy get-getting married?”

Alcina stumbled and almost dropped the bag in her hand, gasping out. Elijah stared barely touched but the slip and waited for her answer. Alcina blushed hard and looked around, making sure she wasn’t make a fool of herself in front of everyone.

Could you imagine the headlines? Alcina Dimitrescu drops a bag of rice in supermarket with a random child in her shopping cart. No thank you.

“Uhm, why-why are you asking that Elijah?”, she decided to ask back and the boy shrugged looking back down at his ice cream.

“Well all the other kids’ parents are married”

Alcina sighed and gently lifted his chin with her finger. “Just because we aren’t married, it doesn’t mean we don’t love each other any less. Or change our love for you, okay?”

Elijah nodded seeming to understand what she was saying and Alcina smiled at him. “Good sweetheart”, she whispered kissing his forehead. “Now. How about some dino nuggets for my handsome boy?”

Like I need details. Whats their story? Do they hate each other and then oh-shit-regrettably-its-u hate-fuck in some Boston bar? Like I already have headcanons for them, we neeed moore 🥺

they're honestly one of my favorite OC ships, like top three AT LEAST. and honestly? hooking up in some Boston bar is not unimaginable! like you're not very far off at all and I love it 🥰 please tell me more headcanons *chin in hands*

you might regret asking me though because I have a looooooot to say! so much to say. too much, you might think 😭 but they have a long story, and I couldn't give them justice if I condensed it, so I think I'm gonna put this under a read-more

okay, so important context first: the setting is urban fantasy with magic and different sorts of monsters but the twist that it's all out in the open and the world has known about the existence of these paranormal things for a long while now.

Dani's in her mid-20s (around 25-27 at the start) and she has this the devil may care attitude with some serious abandonment issues (because her family situation is complicated and not the greatest). She's very rarely had real connections with anyone, whether platonic or romantic, so it makes her very lonely and basically the only person she's close to is her brother. She will pretend she likes it that way but I mean... she clearly does not. She's also a licensed monster hunter, but while most of her family on her mother's side, including her brother, were/are witches, she's got no magic of her own. So it makes her kind of an outsider even in her own family.

And Elijah isn't human. In fact, he comes from a different dimension altogether so he's a something but no one knows what yet because his kind hasn't really been seen ever before and people just don't have a name for it. He's a couple hundred years old which is old in the human sense, but not so much for their kind. Kinda early 30s in appearance. Elijah technically isn't even his real name but it's his human name and what he goes by for the entire story. His dimension is sort of splintering apart at the seams and his kind are dying by the millions so many of them started seeking refuge in other worlds, including our world. Of course they all have different attitudes towards humans, some think they should be peaceful and co-exist, some think they should just take over and subjugate humans, and some think that co-existence IS optimal but they don't think very high of humans regardless and don't really want to interact much. Basically like "you're just a small ant and I'm better than you in every way but I don't hate you so I guess you can stay." Elijah falls more into that category at the start, although he's actually curious about humans, but he's following his mentor's lead who's kinda like a father figure and the person who leads the group he came over with.

So anyway, Dani gets tangled up in this whole situation as she's one of the first person to actually see and interact with one of the others. You could kinda say they're enemies because Elijah's super loyal to his own people, and Dani's very skeptical and distrustful of them. But most of all, she really doesn't trust Elijah's mentor and that obviously creates some tension between them. So they start off on the wrong foot and they really can't stand each other first. It's a lot of unfair assumptions and prejudices basically, and they're both guilty of it. But they also clash simply because of their personalities.

Elijah's calm, collected, reserved, a bit cold some would say, he doesn't show much emotion and is entirely too serious for his own sake. Dani's more laidback and fun and likes to hide her pain with stupid jokes. She's also very much ruled by her emotions so she's hot-tempered and prone to make hasty decisions that often result in bad consequences and Elijah just. does not vibe with that. At all. There's definitely attraction from the start tbh but it's a "fuck, why them, I cannot stand them" kind of attraction. The "I think you're hot and I'm annoyed about it" kind of attraction.

They do become friendlier as time goes on and they find common ground and realize that they may not be so different after all. During this stage, only a few months after meeting, they actually end up sleeping together at a low point in both of their lives. It's one of those "you're here, I'm here, let's just make each other feel alive" kind of things. But because this is absolutely a slowburn, the next morning Dani's like "you know that was just a one night sort of thing, right?" because she does fool around with people often so it's nothing new to her but Elijah does not, isn't used to this, so he's like "uhm... yeah of course." But internally he's kinda spiraling about it. They don't talk about it, but ofc they're thinking about it.

So as time goes on, they end up becoming really close as friends and literally everyone's shocked about this development but they just... see each other, you know? They get each other in an instinctive way that no one else does. Elijah's absolutely in love with Dani at this point but doesn't really understand what he's feeling so he never does anything about it, just pines from afar, and Dani's sort of still in the denial phase (plus you know, the whole "he's my best friend and I don't really have a lot of people I'm close to so I can't lose him"). Dumb shit, obviously.

There's a jealousy sideplot at some point because I like them but it's not a love triangle because I hate those. It's basically just more of Elijah pining to be honest. Lots of angst because that's just how I roll. Over time, there's like 2 or 3 incidents when they actually kiss (I could even see another one night stand at some point, it depends) but they always pull back or change their minds or something happens outside of their control and it just never ever goes anywhere. At this point, Elijah loves her and realized it, but he's actually kinda content to be just her friend. He's okay with loving her from afar because he doesn't really think it possible to be with her for real, and it's very sad.

Dani, on the other hand, is the opposite. She has also accepted the fact that she loves him and she does not want to be just friends. At some point, they have one of those heated arguments that end with Dani, finally too frustrated with this thing between them, blurting out that she loves him, and Elijah for his own reasons (he has a lot of shit going on) pretty much ignores it and pulls away from her. It's like "this is best for both of us, I'm trying to protect you" blablabla, it's stupid and although they technically remain friends, their relationship is very obviously strained because Dani doesn't forgive him for it. Like the girl can absolutely hold a grudge, but also this is probably the time he hurts her the most, so understandable. I mean you gotta know that this is the first time she said those words to anyone that isn't her brother, and she feels rejected, feels like doesn't love or want her, feels kinda worthless because he's an immortal being from a different dimension, ofc he doesn't want her, why would he, and she feels incredibly angry that she still loves him despite all that. It’s a cycle of self-hatred and resentment, and then all that, along with some other things, pushes Dani into spiraling and she has a brief evil arc, and that's another thing preventing them from being together. (She's pretty mean to him during this era but he's also one of the things that brings her back to herself so you know... fun stuff!)

Anyway, they do get together eventually. I'm undecided on this part because idk what works better yet. One possibility is that one of them, probably Elijah, shows up at her door before a big battle that's gonna happen and confesses and they spend the night together knowing it might be their last night alive. The other possibility is that one of them, probably Dani gets hurt during the battle and Elijah confesses while she's bleeding out in his arms. Either way, they don't expect to survive so they finally come clean, and then... they survive. So now they gotta actually confront this for once.

They decide to give a relationship a try, but it doesn't end well the first time. Sure, they're happy and disgustingly in love for a while but neither knows how to be in a relationship because neither have experience. So as soon as something comes along to shake their foundations a bit, the whole thing crumbles. The following crash and burn might even be the angstiest part of the story, idk. I'm gonna be honest, the end does get a little fuzzy, I haven't fleshed out everything yet. I know I want there to be a temporary character death at some point because I know it's cheap but I live for that stuff. So Elijah dies, probably while they're still broken up, and Dani definitely goes a little feral and sets out on an impossible path to bring him back. The good stuff. He comes back, they reunite, etc. I don't wanna say everything's perfect after that because they still gotta work on their issues, but they have a happy ending and that's what matters.

Other trivia tidbit that I like but couldn't fit into elsewhere: Dani's full name is Danielle and she HATES when people call her that. Her parents used to do it when they were angry, and her brother still does it to mess with her or when he's disappointed with her. So no thank you. Except if it's Elijah. Other people say it in anger or admonition but Elijah says it out of sheer devotion, and she's very into it.
