"Todos los nombres de Dios"

Thriller terrorista dirigido por el catalán Daniel Calparsoro, un cineasta que no para de trabajar y que tiene como sello de identidad el brioso aparato visual y sonoro con que dota a sus peliculas, que adquieren siempre por eso una llamativa intensidad.

Quizá el punto débil de su filmografía sea la calidad de sus historias, que suelen dejar poco poso precisamente por no estar a la altura del aspecto formal. Algo parecido ocurre en "Todos los nombres de Dios", una película que, pese a sus defectos, resulta por lo demás razonablemente entretenida.

Antes de terminar su jornada laboral, Santiago, taxista, hace una última carrera al aeropuerto. Instantes después de dejar allí a su pasajero dos bombas explotan a pocos metros. Santi ayuda en la confusión y se dispone a trasladar a un herido.

Pero éste resulta ser un terrorista y el taxista acaba convirtiéndose en su rehén. Entretanto, la policía pronto descubre la naturaleza yihadista del ataque y sus pesquisas dan con los presuntos autores, mientras que la noticia salta a la luz pública y la mujer y el hijo de Santi empiezan a temerse lo peor porque él no coge sus llamadas.

Tiene "Todos los nombres de Dios" la virtud de no distraerse del hilo conductor, lo cual lleva al espectador a ponerse siempre en la piel del protagonista, un hombre que pasaba por ahí y al que le toca bailar con la más fea. El guión escrito por Gemma Ventura (53 días de invierno) muestra bien la relación que se establece entre terrorista y rehén y sabe romper convincentemente el saque con algún giro inesperado.

Por contra, pese a los esfuerzos aparentes, la acción policial se presenta chapuceramente: sin una investigación digna de ese nombre se sacan conejos de la chistera como por arte de magia y los diálogos entre los responsables policiales son pobres y trementadamente tópicos. Lo mejor son sin duda las conversaciones telefónicas entre marido y mujer y entre padre e hijo, cuya emotividad y realismo están a la altura del momento crítico en que se producen.

Rodada en Madrid, sorprenden las reiteradas incoherencias geográficas al mostrar la acción en la Gran Vía y en las calles aledañas. Sin duda habrá sus motivos para esas licencias, pero es una pena que se reste la credibilidad de un modo a priori tan innecesario. Por lo demás Calparsoro se luce en los pasajes de mayor acción, sobre todo en la explosión inicial y en alguna pelea y persecución. Ayuda a que la cosa funcione la interpretación magnífica de Luis Tosar –en su ya cuarta colaboración con Calparsoro–, sólidamente acompañado de su mujer Patricia Vico, mientras que los policías Inma Cuesta y Roberto Enríquez no logran tener ni por asomo la misma presencia.

Solido y realista thriller español antiyihadista, dirigido con oficio, escrito con talento y muy bien interpretado, sobre todo por Luis Tosar. Recomendable

Santiago es un taxista que está aburrido de la vida, un día lleva a una clienta hasta el aeropuerto y hay un atentado con dos bombas. Intentando ayudar a los heridos, sube a su taxi a un hombre que está sangrando profundamente, y cuando va a arrancar este le apunta con una pistola.

En su huida Santiago y Hazam tienen cosas en común, ya que no dejan de ser dos seres humanos, el terrorista le cuenta que no tuvo valor de apretar el botón, porque no podía dejar de pensar en su madre. Por su parte, Santiago perdió a su hija mayor por culpa del cáncer y desde entonces ha estado en su vida, pero sin estar verdaderamente presente en ella.

Sale Inma Cuesta como la comandante Pilar, dando el refuerzo patriótico de los servicios de inteligencia españoles, Patricia Vico como Laura, la mujer de Santi (Luis Tosar) y algunas caras más reconocidas dentro del audiovisual español.

Es la primera vez que una película de Daniel Calparsoro me parece tolerable, lo he intentado muchas veces, pero nunca he terminado sintiéndome en sincronía con su cine.

"El aviso", dirigida por Daniel Calparsoro, es un thriller español que promete mantener al espectador al borde del asiento con su intriga y suspenso. La trama gira en torno a Jon, un joven obsesionado con los números y los patrones, quien descubre un mensaje oculto en una serie de sucesos trágicos que parecen predecir futuras muertes. Con esta premisa intrigante y un elenco talentoso, la película tiene todos los ingredientes para ser un éxito, pero lamentablemente, no logra mantener el ritmo y la coherencia necesarios para cautivar por completo. Uno de los aspectos destacables de "El aviso" es su estilo visual y su atmósfera opresiva. La dirección de Calparsoro crea una sensación constante de tensión, respaldada por una fotografía sombría y una excelente selección musical. Además, la actuación de los protagonistas, especialmente Raúl Arévalo en el papel de Jon, es convincente y logra transmitir la angustia y la determinación del personaje principal.
