Vampires au time! Vlad turned Valerie to serve as his protege, taking her under his wing. I'm sure he's a great mentor, totally up front about everything and not wildly manipulating things behind the scenes >:)

Danielle is wearing a dark blue feathered mask with a silver beak, covering the vast majority of her face, leaving only a peek at a fanged smile beneath it. She's wearing a silver necklace with a pair of crescents around a blue circle, mirroring the charm at the crown of her mask, and her low bun is secured with a silver chain. Her dress is white with a moon phase pattern embroidered around the waist, sheer dark blue overskirts, a sheer dark blue shawl clasped with a large blue gem, and silver slippers.

Valerie has her hair partially up in a high bun and partially lose around her shoulders. Her mask is smaller, covering only her eyes, and is red with feathers at the crown and sides, and has gold around the eyes in a mascara-like pattern. Her dress is red edged in gold ribbon and lace around the shoulders and top layer of her skirts, has a soft gold and yellow striped bodice, and layers of soft yellow and gold skirts descending to her red slippers. She also has gold lace-edged ribbons at her neck and wrists, and is wearing gold earrings and red lipstick.

The fog is gathered more densely around Danielle, swirling in towards the girls' clasped hands.]
