was "data centers and VR" and the server machines looked like city buildings to me, so I created a digital city for their character to enter by means of their virtual headset.
With this one done, my queue is empty, and I'll be opening again for new work very soon at the beginning of September, most likely on 9/2/2024! 💙

Do you have any particular naming traditions for your Pokemon? Like you typically name your Eevee X name if you're going to evolve them into a Jolteon, or you name your Vulpix Y name because you like it and now it's stuck.
My names are all over the place, mostly because there's so many from different games/eras of my life xD! Some that are on specific teams are made to match, like Karma (Shiny Kanto Ninetales from Y) & Dharma (Shiny Alolan Ninetales from Sun). My other Shiny Vulpix/Ninetales are Vesper, Velox, Sappho, Hestia, and Mozilla cause they're all from different games.
Some names are just to help me keep track of what build they are for Raids/PvP. Dewdrop (Azumarill) & Honeydew (Shiny Azumarill) are Water & Fairy Tera type builds, so it helps me figure out who's who quickly.
Some nicknames are silly but themed to the Pokémon. Paramore (Toxtricity), Magic Conch (Cloyster), and Emu Wars (Espathra). And honestly there's some like my Gallade and Leafeon I use a ton but never picked names for lol. I've been transferring my Pokémon to new games since FireRed and continued to use them over the years, so it's kinda like, once that's their name that's their name forever and I try not to repeat them.

Virtual Light - Wiliam Gibson (Bantam Spectra, 1993)
The millennium has come and gone, leaving in its wake only stunned survivors. In Los Angeles, Berry Rydell is a former armed-response rentacop now working for a bounty hunter. Chevette Washington is a bicycle messenger turned pickpocket who impulsively snatches a pair of innocent-looking sunglasses. But these are no ordinary shades. What you can see through these high-tech specs can make you rich—or get you killed. Now Berry and Chevette are on the run, zeroing in on the digitalized heart of DatAmerica, where pure information is the greatest high. And a mind can be a terrible thing to crash. . . .
