so today I planned a big post about why I stopped being super outgoing and became super anxious about roleplaying on tumblr and--

I can’t find the image from the burnbook anymore. I must have deleted it some time ago in hopes of freeing myself from it

it said -- in part, that I was overbearing and too friendly and it was creepy, and also that I was only��“just okay” at writing (that last bit killed me and I used it on my promos for a while because like even trying to be shitty about me, they couldn’t say I was a bad writer)

It was in like 2014 or maybe 15. I found out a year or so later it was from datseabass, an AU Jane who had pretended to be my friend. I also found out she’d likely been the one to send in the burn about a v popular Peter Quill blog at the time, too.

(granted, I heard this from a second party who’s word I’m not a hundred percent sure I can trust but yanno)

Anyways, its been years now and I think about how sad it is that she felt the need to shit on the people around her to feel better, that she had no way to communicate her boundaries or her needs, that there wasn’t enough going on in her life to keep her busy, or that she couldn’t be bothered to just go outside and look at some trees and breath some fresh air.

And it’s not my problem that she was that sad, or lacking, or needing attention. Why did I punish myself for years because of her issues?

So starting today, my dudes, I’m gonna try to relearn how to be friendly. I’m gonna reach out and send asks and just try to make my corner of the RPC as active and alive as it used to be.

I may be limited in time during Sun-Wed, but I’m gonna try my damnedest. If we’re mutuals?

LILITH   IS   FUCKING    NUTS      I’m pretty sure she’s hid this from me in the past or maybe I haven’t been paying attention. There is no more of who she was left. I’ve said it was the trauma that needs sorting, then the real woman can shine through but here’s the thing- 

The more I play her the more I realize she is the trauma. I knew a Jane Foster (@datseabass) a long time ago and we shipped when I had my Thor. She wasn’t Jane anymore but completely the Tesseract playing at being Jane. I know that is the flavor I want for my Lilith because that’s the creepiest thing possible in my mind. You think you’ve been talking to Lilith this entire time but really its just the tattered demonic remnants of her soul meshed with a tiny shard of Lucifers grace. SURPRISE. 

She has folks hooked up to IV’s and switches out when she wishes. They are as clothing to her. Like the witch in OZ who has a different head for everything. Anything kind she does it’s on accident. I’ve played her as true neutral but I don’t think that’s coming across as well as I want it too and Lilith? She doesn’t strike me as the impartial sort. 

So from now on she will be a small, slinking in the night, skeletal creepy kid with a lust for blood and too much time on her hands.

it was both. portman dipped because a) she didn’t want to return she thought it was a “one film deal” which is bullshit and she knows it as a veteran of franchise films and b) the jenkins drama. i read she outright refused to play jane for ragnarok and claimed it was because “marvel didn’t call her.” i’m really salty about it and highly dislike her hence why i changed my fc. she made mcu jane in her image so nobody can even vaguely channel the comics and then abandoned.
