New Fleetwood Mac Doc in Works; No Title or Release Date Yet
- “This will be a film about the music and the people who created it,” director Frank Marshall says
Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks are cooperating on a new Fleetwood Mac documentary for Apple Original Films.
“It’s not a ‘Rumour,’” the band said in confirming the as-yet-untitled film from director Frank Marshall.
The documentary seems primed to focus on the Rumours-era lineup of the aforementioned musicians and the late Christine McVie. The band posted three photos of that iteration (above) with its announcement and there is no mention of Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer, Danny Kirwan, Bob Welch, Rick Vito, Dave Mason or any of the other players who joined the band over its long career.
New and previously unseen interviews will be part of the movie, which has no release date, Rolling Stone magazine reports.
“This will be a film about the music and the people who created it,” Marshall said in a statement.

Some David Mason hcs (sfw):
I'm gonna tentatively say I have a headcanon that David Mason (Section) is a cat enthusiast. (Based on a post I saw but can not remember the username for the life of me)
Does he have a preference? Probably not. Considering the life he lives, he'll probably be happy just to even see a cat.
He'd probably adopt one or two (maybe even three cats if he was retired cause he passed the mandatory age limit and wasn't injured. Most unlikely, btw) if he decided to retire.
He gives off bisexual vibes, in my opinion (thank you fanart and David's bio) .
He also seems like the type to get a cat or a paw tattoo included in an arm sleeve tattoo if he got into getting tattooed, especially if he did the tattoo sleeve in honor of a friend.
I also would like to think he talks a lot when uncomfortable, and if he does that late at night at a safehouse or at the base, whoever hears him would probably fall asleep pretty quickly, if not instantly, due to how smooth his voice is.
So yes, he does talk to himself. No, he's not sick. He just always has done it.
If he's especially bored, you may catch him humming his favorite childhood tune.
"Are you humming?" Him? Humming? No. You must be hearing things.
No, he won't admit that.
He calls it, "Thinking out loud."
He has gotten questionable glances from his teammates before.
No, he won't explain himself. Why would he?

Song Review(s): Mike Dawes - “All Along the Watchtower” and “Everlong”
Using the originals as mere templates and showing off his diploma from the School of Making an Acoustic Guitar Sound Like a Band, Mike Dawes immerses himself and his listeners in classic and modern rock on “All Along the Watchtower” and “Everlong.”
Neither owes much to previous iterations as Dawes essentially composed new instrumental pieces around the respective themes.
In that regard, “Watchtower” is the more distinctive number as Jimi Hendrix’s transmogrified Bob Dylan riff is so indelible and singular as to be immediately and undoubtedly identified. “Everlong” finds Dawes’ playing as jaw-dropping as ever; however, the Foo Fighters’ melody is far less interesting and this rendition gets bogged down under its unrelenting sonic assault.

The covers are out alongside Dawes’ original “Cloud Catcher” ahead of Galactic Acid’s Aug. 9 drop* date.
*Only an album with the word Acid in its title could make Sound Bites substitute drop for release
