Truly grateful for the setup we have here in the studio. The companies we work with are very good to us and their support allows the freedom to create without ever giving a second thought to if we CAN do something that pops into our heads. If one of us has a random creative urge at 3am that keeps us tossing and turning until we finally roll out of bed at 7am on a Saturday morning because we just can’t wait any longer to get this idea implemented because creative brain that won’t rest until it’s happy… well… we can do that. One more update (for now) from our Boro and Sashiko class at Camp STITCHES New Mexico. Check out those stitches!! GOR-GEE-OUSSS!! Seriously, it has been so thrilling watching this group of women (self named the Sashiko Sisters 🤣) develop their boro and sashiko skills. This is really stepping outside their comfort zones for some of them and y’all know how challenging it can be to try a new skill. These women have met the challenge head on and have achieved stunning results the past couple of days.
