The latest preview dropped on YT and with it the DBX trailer, and holy shit, that looks mighty crispy in the animation department!

Also the Red and black color scheme is now Ringmaster's main! Love it! (Character color still stays pink though)

Death Battle already destroyed everything with the host animations, but daaaaamn..... I am hyped for DBX this season!

I can't complain about the results of what goes down in Death Battle even if someone I like goes down. But I CAN, however, complain about the results of DBX since they're essentially just popularity contests.

i’ve got someone trying to convince me that Rooster Teeth ‘hates’ BlazBlue because.. Sol Badguy beat Ragna in the Guilty Gear vs BlazBlue Death Battle, and that that and the recent DBX (ignoring again that DBX runs entirely on rule of cool) would’ve turned out differently if Monty were around to ‘correct them’ because he was a fan of BlazBlue (which i find... questionable, to be honest)

never mind that Screw Attack makes Death Battle, and while SA is under the RT umbrella, it’s not representative of the company as a whole, and never mind that Monty would probably not have had much to do with the production of another show made by a different company in a different location, and that that Death Battle episode came out less than two months after his death and so maybe bringing him into this conversation at all is massively disrespectful

how does a whole two instances ‘prove’ that Rooster Teeth hates BlazBlue? especially when the main protagonists of one of their most popular series are in a recent BlazBlue spinoff? which they bring up a lot, talk about the conversations they’ve had with Mori, the creator of BlazBlue (who is also a big fan of RWBY and already put a shoutout to the show in the last main BB title before Cross Tag was ever gonna be a thing)

Ideas for a DB Spin-off webshow.

Let's be real, the trio has some of the biggest potential for one hell of an amazing slice of life/action Spin-off to the entire franchise.

And I mean trio, since Ringmaster counts as a part of the Death Battle Crew since he was first announced.

As an broad idea for this could be what happens behind the scenes, ex. what their normal lives are like (although I definitely know that there is a high chance that they have to fight against some sort of vilian or monster in a few episodes).

For starters, the show could be set in a world where RT is a famous and prestigious webshow producing company and only the best of the best actors and hosts are working for them, while keeping the "Chaos Family" style which RT has always intact. Meaning, the guys work alongside the other characters of Rooster Teeth's webshows, but those usually have outside filmings and more tight schedules then the Crew.

As for the guys themselves, I can imagine them being around their 30s - 40s (Wiz and Ringmaster lean more to the younger side then Boomstick), which can be easily reflected in their choice of casual clothes, simple yet pretty stylish for the younger two in comparison to the redneck. (I definitely wouldn't mind if we get a small romance subplot with any of the guys, or them being like "Those two are a couple, deal with it")
