I think that whole “we’ve got forever to figure this out” line in the confession scene is so overlooked and something that we seriously need to talk about.

Like, how can we expect the poor boy to tell Edwin that he loves him back romantically if he’s never had a moment to even consider these feelings? He knows he loves Edwin, and that he’d literally go to hell and back for him, but how is he supposed to know what being in love with a boy feels like?

So what he was basically saying in this scene was I love you, but let me think about what this means so that I don’t do something stupid that will hurt you even more
