So, for our anniversary, I bought Lynn a casual game called Floor Plan. The basic concept is that each player designs a home based on die rolls, while simultaneously trying to fulfill client demands within their designs. I (barely) won our first game, but I have to point out that my design (on top) has no entry point! Lynn actually deserves to win because she (the engineer in the family!) tried to create an actual livable home, with a front door and everything! Orienteering

The instructor sets up an orienteering course in the pool. The following items may be spaced at at varying distances and positions around the area to mark stations: - laminated sheets - rings - pucks - flutterboards Each station has a letter, number, and/or word on it that spell out a word related to water safety or water rescue. Participants are scattered around the perimeter of the course. On signal, each participant begins their search of the area, collecting the information from each station.
